Absolutely Outstanding
I bought these speakers as an upgrade to my Lsi 15's. I recommend using a subwoofer with these and moving the lower frequencies to the sub. After this, the difference between the Lsi's and the L600's becomes night and day. The L600's have fantastic bass. Tight, detailed and controlled. The highs are clear and detailed. Female vocals literally bring tears to my eyes upon occasion. With the right setup, you can hear the vocalist's breath, picks sweeping over guitar strings, drum sticks hitting cymbals, the slap of a hand on bongos. I could go on but you get the idea. I was going to buy the R700's on sale but when I went to purchase them they were sold out so I ended up going with these. I have ZERO regrets, and would put these up against speakers considered "audiophile" that cost twice their price. I recommend these speakers easily. Well done Polk!

Very Impressed
First off- never thought I’d own a pair of Polks. Always thought of them as low to mid-fi speakers, and never paid much attention. That was a misstep. Bought a pair of L600’s and hooked them up to an Integra pre/pro and Anthem PVA 7. My first thought was, “Did I make a mistake?”. Very dull and uninvolving. I the tried them on a Musical Fidelity M8 500w amp. Night and day. I cannot express what a difference the amp made. I’ve owned many speakers in my life (and heard lots more). I won’t say these are end-game, but the combo with this amp sounds incredible. Very dynamic, detailed and great bass. Highly recommended.

Excellent value
I’ve e tried Kef R7 Meta, Martin Logan XT100, Martin Logan ESLX, and a few others around the 4k price range and I have to say The L600 is the best all around performer with a nice full midrange, deep bass, smooth high end and doesn’t fatigue after hours of listening. And of course pairing with the the right amplifier to achieve the ultimate synergy is recommended. I’m using an Ayon Spirit 75 watt all class A tube amp with lots of current that can power down 2 ohms with no problem, PS. Audio front end, and Kimber cables. I mainly stream from Tidal via hard wire Ethernet. Also, the fit and finish is very high-end. Good job by you, Polk.

The best speakers Polk Audio has made!
The L600 are the best non SDA speakers I have ever owned from Polk Audio! I have been collecting Polk speakers since 1985 and these are by far the best in my collection. The sound is well balanced with extended silky smooth highs and solid, well defined bass. Their soundstage is extended. Front to back depth is adequate yet they still create a huge soundfield. Give them proper amplification (separates recommended for best sound) and they will reward you with excellent sound!

Polk L600's and L400 Review
In comparison to my previous Polk LSiM 705’s and 704c speakers.
There is a big improvement in bass compared to the 705’s. I don't think I'll miss the sub that I used with the LSiM’s. They needed a sub to sound the best. The improved mid range has a fuller, more enjoyable sound. Moving on, the tweeter is a big improvement. It sounds clearer and more natural sounding especially with female voices. I always felt the tweeter was a weakness on the 705’s and 704c. I’ve heard sounds with the tweeters I didn’t hear on the LSiM’s. They also have better imaging and the sound stage is wider and the speakers just fill the den and the kitchen area (which is next to the den) with sound much better than the LSiM’s. I always thought they were straining some in our new house and not giving me the full sound I wanted. These speakers are just more enjoyable to listen to when listening to music, I feel more involved with the music. They also sound great watching movies. Nice quality speakers, well built.
I also bought a L400 center channel and the voices are much clearer with this tweeter compared to the LSiM 704 center. I’m an old guy and it’s easier to understand voices when I’m watching TV. My wife says the same about the L400 when watching TV.

Happy with L600’s
Great sound, clarify and bass. The “you’ll hear things you never heard before” is so true…reverb levels on vocal harmonies, breathing, dynamics. Just love it.

Very pleased with speakers looks and sound reproduction! Currently powering with a Yamaha A-S700 , until I get my Denon AV3700h set up.
Best to hand truck/carry to location then unpack the speakers. Unpacking was easy.

A first rate pair of speakers
Top Quality speakers with and amazing range and imaging.
They are one of many speakers I have purchased from Polk of the last 30 years. I have to say they are my favorite.
I have also owned many speakers that many would consider a “better “ speaker and I will say these run circles around many of them.
