We feel more secure now when we are away from home
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can’t believe I’ve gone this long without having a ring camera, my family and I absolutely love it! This camera is very high quality, even at night! I also appreciate that this has a built in doorbell. I love how the app gives me notifications in real time so I can monitor any alerts no matter where I am. I also love that I can speak through the doorbell if I’m not at home or unable to get to the door.
The installation process was fairly easy but we did need to make some modifications since this was drilled into our metal porch. My husband went and bought a few self tapping screws from the store since we did not have a small enough masonry bit to install the included screws.
I love how easily I was able to customize my notification settings. The app settings allows you to adjust the sensitivity and what you would like to be alerted about. We chose to keep alerts for people and cars only because we live on a farm and our free range animals would constantly set off motion alarms and drain the battery faster. I chose to keep the ai summary settings on in the app which sends a notification with a summary of what’s happening in the motion event which is very helpful! It’s very easy to go into the app and look at past motion events. I find the app to be very user friendly and easy to navigate.
I am so happy that this is a battery powered version that can be easily detached and charged quickly with a usbc cord. This camera being wireless is very important because we placed our ring camera on the outside of our screened in porch which is too far to hardwire into our house. We have been using this for almost two months now and the battery just had its first charge which only took about 45 minutes. It’s really easy to keep up with the battery life by checking in the app.
I would highly recommend every household has one of these cameras, it gives you such a good feeling to know you can monitor what’s happening at your home when you are away!

Very happy with my new ring doorbell
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Feeling a little extra safer these days with my brand new Ring doorbell. Having a way to monitor, whoever comes to the door can provide peace of mind when managing a busy household. There is motion detection and a two way talk. Which is an amazing feature. If you have many packages that get delivered or even a monthly service, you might miss while running errands. I do encourage everyone to download the app it suggests. For there it will tell you all you need to know on how to set this up properly and charge it and get it functioning perfectly. It was super easy installation with those directions provided through the app. I have been wanting these for a while, and I love how that it provides that extra layer of security and peace of mind throughout the day.

So worth it!

I love the phone notifications, ability to answer the bell over my phone, automatic answers, package detection and so much more! The battery power enables super easy and quick installation. I was a bit worried about the battery life, of course it depends on your traffic, but it lasts me pretty long and charging the battery is easy and quick. This bell is so worth it!!!

Works perfectly at our back door

We got battery one for backyard door for ppl who come from our back door. Was an easiest set up and connectivity. Come 20%charged so recommend charging it befor installing. Also, it was easy to download and navigate Ring App as well. Best value for money.

Definitely better than first GEN
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Slightly better night image. Daytime is very clear. I’ve had spotty motion detection. Easy mount, although I did not use it. I really like that you charge the unit as a whole. There’s not batteries to remove.

Excellent picture quality day and night
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had the original ring doorbell for years, so I wasn’t expecting a dramatic difference when I installed the Ring Battery Doorbell (Second Generation).
I was pleasantly surprised. The Video qualities noticeably sharper, and it’s much easier to see details like faces, packages, and activity at my front door.
The pictures clear during the day and still looks great at night. Motion alerts have been reliable, and the overall experience feels smoother and more polished than my first generation model. If you’re still using an older Ring doorbell, this upgrade is definitely worth considering. If you’ve never owned one before and are on the fence about buying one, I would definitely recommend it!!

Love the smart motion alerts
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been really happy with this doorbell so far. One of my favorite features is that it can recognize different types of motion, whether it’s a person, an animal, or someone approaching with a package. The alerts feel much more useful because I’m not getting notified for every little movement. I also love the wide view. I can see my entire front yard, which gives me a much better idea of what’s happening around the house. The video quality is clear, the app is easy to use, and it’s nice being able to check on deliveries or see who’s outside even when I’m not home.

Ring doorbell

Great quality, rechargeable-battery, video recording doorbell from Ring
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Ring doorbell was easy to self-install. It's quick and simple. Everything needed for installation was in the box. I downloaded the Ring App on my cellphone. This Ring doorbell & app makes it easy for me to see packages being delivered, and any visitors who arrive...from head to toe, there's good vertical coverage of my porch area. I also like the "live view", 2-way talk, and "real-time' alerts which are very reliable. I can definitely see when someone is on my front porch/front doorway for any reason, whether visiting or delivering a package/mail. The video and images provided are crisp and detailed. I'm also able see my front porch area at night, with zero lights on, if the camera detects anything. And I actually love that it's battery operated because our front doorbell electrical hookup doesn't work properly and a battery doorbell is all we can get to successfully work by our front door. And the push-pin mounting system makes removing the doorbell for charging the battery...tool-free and fast. Love that! The doorbell is easily recharged with a USB-C charging cable. Installation of this new Ring doorbell camera has been a game-changer for our family. We love being notified when someone steps onto our front porch. An extra layer of security is certainly nice to have.

Great camera quality, very useful and easy to use.

I added a video to show you how easy it is to see everything from the app. It’s a breeze to set up as well. You can choose to toggle the alerts and motion notifications on and off easily. You can “drop in” at any time and see a live view. It’s nice bc you have actually talk with someone at the door or any camera. This ring is a doorbell model. It can alert you when someone rings the doorbell or you can choose to also have it alert you when there is motion. I like how you can change the motion settings to different areas. It also detects when there is a package at the front door. It’s so useful and gives me peace of mind!

It’s easy to install and the battery is simple to charge. The app is easy to follow and download. A voice recording lets people know they are being recorded. Is it quick with two-way talk so you can speak to visitors and they can speak to you. You can use live view mode or check reported motion. Smart detection notifies you when an individual or package is within the alert Zone that you set. images are sharp and colorful during the day, and the camera uses incurred at night to capture images

Amazing video quality!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this ring door bell ! It was so easy to set up, probably one of the easiest things I’ve ever had to set up in my life. It was super easy to access using the app on my phone. I love that you can check the camera in real time. I also like you can change the motion detection settings so you’re not being alerted of cars driving by. It also saves the battery a bunch by not doing that. My favorite part about this product is the picture quality and the fact that it’s charge able so I don’t have to waste money on batteries! You just take it right off the mount with a key and plug it into a universal charger! I can’t believe I haven’t gotten one until now because it’s very needed. Thanks ring

Easy installation

The video quality is clear and has head to toe view so you can see the whole view when a guest is up close. This is a battery version so you don’t have to deal with any wires and have the freedom to put it anywhere you like. You’ll need a ring app to get motion notifications and it’s simple to use.

Clear Video and Easy Install

Useless without subscribing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Connection is similar to any other WiFi camera we’ve used. It connects fine until you need to pull it up and then it takes over a minute to load and what you wanted to see is already gone. This renders the option to use it without a subscription pretty much useless. With the subscription it’s good because it will snap a video of whatever motion set the camera off and you can watch it through the cloud after it loads. I do like the AI features telling you what someone is doing and the face recognition however it’s not always accurate. Setup was easy for me however after sending a link to my husband for him to be added he said it was very frustrating. The battery last a long time but without being to wire it or have a replacement battery you’ll have downtime while it’s charging. It takes a whole 24hrs to charge. I did also have a few false alarms where it said someone was there and they were not as well as a delivery driver drop groceries off and the camera never triggered at all. I tried to upload photos but because they’re screenshots of my camera in app it won’t let me upload them. I decided to switch to a more expensive camera that did not require a subscription.
