I use detergent sheets and HE liquid, both work well.

New 4.5 cu. ft. Front Load Washer Success
We bought a month ago and so happy we did. We had replaced our previous Samsung Dyer that was 14 yrs old with a new Samsung dryer. Our older Samsung washer was still working fine so we held off buying the matching new Samsung washer for 6 months. Now both match and we have the latest technology! My wife is very happy..!!

Can I choose a SMALL load vs LARGE load and use less water? I have not seen this option in any front loader but the specs here list it as an option.
The machine senses each load and uses the right amount of water for each load. Therefore water level selection is done by the machine.

I would think not. Washer has a completely separate lines for it ( both hot and cold ) that have specific connections for it.

How long is the quick cycle
Can I use an existing Frigidaire pedestal?
I recently used the "Active Wear" setting but noticed that the drum doesn't turn or agitate for any extended time. It just rotates back and forth and then pauses for a minute or so and the same happens during the entire wash cycle. Is that normal?
