The clothes come out almost dry which cuts drying time almost in half. There are so many wash cycles that leave your clothes looking and feeling so clean. The wireless feature is amazing it allows you to set the cycles that you want to use and send it to the washer all with a few clicks on my phone. Due to this feature teaching my preteen kids to do their laundry has been a breeze. The no center agitator works amazingly for my down comforter and pillows. There is a self cleaning cycle that makes the washer look and smell brand new. The washer also let's you know in the smart things app when it is done so no more having to check. I would definitely recommend this washer to anyone who is looking for a new machine as it is the best I have ever used let alone owned.

I did not know how much time and money this machine is saving us compared to our old 15 year old washer until we used it for a month. The amount of money we save in water was very noticeable on our bill. This washer saves you money by adjusting the amount of water by weighing your clothes. You no longer have to tell the washer how big your load is. Which means no wrong setting and no wasting water. You still have the option of filling your washer with more water if needed. So you are not missing out old time settings. You also have the option to quick wash your clothes in under 30 minutes. A typical wash on the washer is over 1 hour. So cutting your time in half saves you time without sacrificing cleanliness. It did not make sense how most dryers have a bigger capacity than some washers. Now having a washer that matches your dryer capacity is great since you can dry one huge load and save energy. Finally a huge capacity washer that matches almost all dryers capacity. Integretion with Alexa is another small and helpful feature I did not know I was going to like. When paired with Alexa it will announce when your dryer is done. This is a great feature since we have our washer on the second floor and being downstairs we would have to guess and make a trip upstairs to check on the washer and see if it is done. This is very helpful in a house of teenagers that will forget they had a load washing. Now we have Alexa to remind them to dry their clothes. No more wet clothes than need to be rewashed because someone forgot about their load. All these little things add up in save our family time and money. And this is what makes this washer a great investment. The money saved compared to an old dumb washer is an expense that is justified.

Lots of capacity, flexible washing options with notification via the smart things app, and quiet operation. This is hands down better than the washer we previously had and gets things done faster, quieter and importantly just seems to get things cleaner! It also has a nice look to it and a quiet close lid. Would not hesitate to recommend it! In addition the smart things app notification is handy, even pops up on our Samsung TV briefly letting us know the cycle i done, convenient! The self wash function makes keeping the washer clean and odor free a simple press of a button.

Ft tub that allows you to wash more clothes in less loads. As some who is constantly washing for a family of 8, that's huge for me. I love that it saves me time. The tub is also quite deep! If you’re smaller in stature you'll property need a step stool. However the deeper tub also allows for larger / bulkier items like bedding. LOVE the Dynamic WaterJet —-The Dynamic WaterJet is an underlying water fixture that helps with simple pre-treatment of smudged garments. It’s a very useful feature . **SmartThings App** The SmartThings app is super user friendly. It interacts well with the washer and alerts me when my wash is completed right on my cell phone. Honestly, I love this feature because the washer runs so quietly this way you are notified when it's done verses listening for the cycle to end. The Super Speed Wash is a fantastic time saver and completes a full. Load in 29 minutes. Ideal when you’re in a rush yet at the same time need clean clothes. **Self Clean Option** Self Clean option is great as it alerts you when you when it's time to.deep clean the washer. I use those washer cleaning tablets and drop it inside the tub. Then I set it for self cleaning. It really keeps your washer sanitized and ultimately it will last longer with this built in maintenance. **Wash Speed** The washers offers great wash speeds without losing cleaning quality. The quick cycles are ideal for busy schedules. While the wash cycles can be quick and efficient, I wish they were faster or more customizable. **Energy Proficiency** This model is ENERGY STAR® Ensured, meaning it’s energy-efficient, saving you money over time. Overall the Samsung WA52DG5500AW is high-performing, effective and with smart technology features it is the best decision for my family.

The basin is large and fits the perfect size load for family washing without having to wash all day long. It is much quieter and does a better job at cleaning then my last washer. It also looks more modern than my old plain white washer. I love that the top is see through so you can see the cleaning process as it happens. The smart features are an added bonus. I connected to Smart things and it can remember my preferences for washing and even start the cycle for me. I definitely love, love, love it. I haven't gotten around to all the features but honestly this is my first Samsung appliance. We have many of their electronics but not appliances. Well I was so impressed with the washer I went ahead and ordered the smart dryer and I can't wait until it gets here because I know it will be just as great as this washer. I'm definitely sold on all things Samsung and look forward to replacing the rest of my appliances in my house with Samsung products.

I love the sleek design and the console is out of this world . The day it arrived I was so excited that I did three loads of wash immediately. The washer runs much more quieter than my old machine and has many more options. I can even wash my large comforters in the machine with room to spare. My favorite part is the Smart Control, which allows me to control the washer thru my cellphone and let's me know what stage the wash cycle is in and how much time remains until the load is done. The only drawback I have is, the tub is very deep, so I have to lean over and into the washer to remove the clothes , but that is a small price to pay for such a fantastic washing machine. The clothes come out clean and damage free, since there's no agitator to get wrapped around.

Our old machine was no longer operational and wash was piling up. This machine has a sleek cabinet and a console that beats all others It's easy to opt from the many cycles and to be able to pick the length of the spin cycle and how many rinses you desire as well as the length of the cycle depending on the type of clothing is fantastic. I don't often do the laundry, but now I find myself pitching in more often. Being able to change my selection during use is also a plus, in case I picked the wrong one in error. I would recommend this machine to anyone who is super busy as it can be monitored from your cell phone once you scan the QR code and follow the simple instructions. I couldn't find a single con against this Samsung washer .

The washer! We got it delivered and not only that, but they installed and hauled away the old washer. Perfect service! We have been using the Smartthings app environment since it came out, our internet hub is Smartthings as well as everything electronics, appliances and gadgets, Galaxy phones, earbuds, range, dryer, bespoke fridge and dishwasher, laptop, smart power plugs, we even replaced the internal hard drives on all laptops with Samsung SSD. Now, back to the washer... It has a huge capacity, we can never fill it up, but that's a plus. It came with all the pipes needed for installation, it only took a few minutes. Once powered, I opened the Smarthings app and it was found right away and included in my other home appliances. The product has a multitude of programs and since we didn't have it for so long, we only used a few so far. Since I wear daily white dress shirts, I was impressed with the "whites" function, but "normal" and especially "super speed" come in very handy. Clothes are coming out extremely clean(how else:) and overall we are very impressed with the performance of the product. A big plus, since connected to the Smartthings app, I never forget again to remove the clothes out at the end of the wash, since I get a notification on the phone once is done. Overall, another great quality, performant, and innovative product from Samsung!! Couldn't be happier and we recommend this product to anyone in the market!

This is a big boy of a washer that can wash a load twice as big as our old 15 year old washer could. It also so silent. The silence is unheard of. LOL. Our old washer was on the second floor and the vibration was very noticeable. We can tell when the washer was done when we had silence downstairs. This new Samsung washer it is totally silent. It is mainly due to the rubber feet that reduce sound. This smart washer connects to your WIFI and will work with SmartThings and Alexa. If you have echo speakers around your house you can set it up to be notified by Alexa when the washer is done. You can also be alerted every 30 minutes about a finished load in your washer. Very handy for individuals who are forgetful about laundry. We've all been there we load the washer and get preoccupied with the kids or other chores. Then when we realize there was a load in the washer and we have to rewash it again. This feature will save you time and money. The simple settings are a no brainer to use. It is just a knob that you turn to choose the type of clothes you are washing. The auto dispenser will dispense the detergent automatically. The washer will weigh your clothes and dispense the correct amount of water. No more forgetting to change the previous setting and having your clothes not wash properly. If you want to control more of the settings you can there are buttons for temp, spin cycles, rinse and soil. This washer does take longer to wash the clothes than my old washer but it uses way less water and less detergent since it uses HE detergent. I have no complaints when my water bill comes in and it is way less than my previous bill. If you are in a hurry and need to wash clothes fast it does have a quick wash button that will wash clothes in 28 minutes.

Once you download the SmartThings app, you can utilize the "laundry recipe" function--you tell the machine via app what type of clothes you are washing, how soiled they are, and if they are colors or whites. From there, the app gives you a couple different "recipes" to choose from that best matches what you have in the washer and away you go! It even sends your phone a notification when the load is complete. It also has something called Vibration Reduction Technology--the washer is so quiet you can barely hear it running. The drum of the machine is huge! I was able to fit a comforter with ease and with still room to spare. The drum itself on the inside is beautiful and shiny. There is a self-clean option you can also use, but I haven't made it that far yet! I know I'll never have to go to the laundromat again to wash heavy bedding because this machine handles it. Get it!

That's how I felt when I did my first load of laundry in the Samsung 5.2 cu. ft. Smart Top Load Washer! I downloaded the SmartThings app, and away I went! I do want to say you don't need to use the app to do your laundry, but it is pretty awesome if you do! You can pick a setting called "laundry recipe" on the app. From there, you tell the washer what type of clothes your are washing, how soiled they are, etc. It gives you an option or two suggesting the best way to wash those particular clothes--and you can literally start the washer from your phone! Th washer has a BIG drum, so you can fit large comforters in there. My dog had an accident on our comforter the second night we had the washer and I was amazed at how easy it fit in for washing! I will say, the drum is deep. A couple of the loads I had to get on the tips of my toes to grab a couple socks that were way down there! The washer is super quiet which is great. It also has a soft-close lid so it won't slam down if you let go! Once the laundry load is complete, the SmartThings App sends an alert to your phone telling you it's done! I am so happy with this product!

The first thing that sparked my mind was this SmartThings app. I love the option to be able to set my washer from inside especially when I have things that need to soak a little more which is also another great feature. The capacity of the washer is awesome. I’ve washed a bunch of blue jeans, towel a bed comforter and still had room left in the washer. Hands down this is the best capacity washer I have ever owned I have not tried the self clean option but assure you I will. The wash speed is great. I love the quick wash for sure. The interior of the washer is pretty cool looking. When I put clothes in I always think there’s no way these clothes can’t get clean. Oh and the vibration reduction technology is definitely noticed when you start a load.

Large Capacity Smart Top Load Washer is basically everything I wanted in my household, or any household for that matter. The large capacity is great, no more trips to a launderer for doing those queen or king size bedding washes, but if you are doing a small load it can do that too without wasting water. The load selection is basically a no brainer, it's extremely intuitive and all indicated plainly on the panel. From large load, deep fill to small quick wash it has everything you need. Silence is golden. While obviously not silent, the unit is impressively quiet in every phase of washing - at least compared to all previous units. Spin cycle and drain is probably the most noisy, but I can barely hear it through one interior door, and it's completely unnoticeable in the washroom from the main floor. The vibration reduction works exactly as it should. Oh, and the soft close lid on the unit, added bonus, just give it a bump to close and it gently and silently closes - love that. SmartThings, yes. Smart and easy! This was probably the easiest set up ever. Once the unit was installed and plugged in doing a test fill, my phone having already had the smart things app installed, detected the potential new unit and asked if I wanted to add an appliance. Clicked yes, prompted to scan the QR code on the front of the washer, and it did the rest. Connected and ready to give me notice when a load was done in less than 2 minutes! I wanted a washer large enough to handle big family sized loads, or bedding, but flexible enough to also do a quick wash without taking forever and using excessive water. This hit the mark perfectly. I'm genuinely pleased with the washer and would not hesitate to recommend it!

I love that it can sense my loads and let me know how long loads will take. I also enjoy that it’s WiFi connected I can set it on my phone with the SmartThings app to start when I’m on the way home or I can delay the start time for hours later. I can also set it on fast wash which is awesome if I’m in a rush. I also love that it has a separate spout to rinse something off before doing a full load. The inside is nice bc the agitator in the middle is straight down and my clothes don’t get caught around the bottom. The vibration reduction technology is nice and my washer stays in place now. This is the perfect washer for my family.

But it was worth the wait. I'd amassed a huge pile of laundry: clothes rIpe for washing. I thought I was looking at spending a whole day or two at home just doing laundry. Was able to get everything done in 2 loads due to the ginormous capacity of this new machine. I could see that my clothes and sheets had less detergent residue on them too. So it must rinse well. I'd left and forgotten to turn on the 2nd load so thankfully I could use my Samsung Smartthings app to start and track the load. I use this app on all my Samsung products and it's inuititive, easy to get anything done, and I knew exactly when I had to get back to put my stuff in the dryer. I told my Mom that we now have to get a great new Samsung dryer instead of the old jalopy we have. If/when I ever get my own home I'm definitely going to fill it with Samsung appliances.

Samsung has brought my household into the wonders of doing laundry their way in the 21st century. And what a revelation it is! First thing I noted was the capacity size....it's huge. I can do fewer loads of household laundry instead of having to do one load after another. Everything fits in one wash. I could even wash large items instead of having to take them to the cleaners to do. Second thing I noticed was how quiet it is when it runs, and how it doesn't shudder and shake during the spin cycle. Everything comes out with less water left so is quicker to dry. In a city like LA where we are so energy conscious, this is fantastic and it'll be interesting to see if it gets reflected in my monthly utility bills. I have tried out the Samsung Smartthings App, which I use for our new Samsung dishwasher too, and it is fun. I'm not as tech reliant as my kids who use it for everything. We are total Samsung enthusiasts and this washing machine doesn't disappoint. It's another Samsung winner!

This washer is so roomy inside and love the technology. I'm not going to lie at first I had trouble figuring out the settings but the ability to manage your loads through an app made things so much easier. It's a set it and forget it until you are reminded that you were washing. It's great! The warranty is great! I use to have an LG front load washer and loved It until it went out after 6 years and the parts were no longer available to fix. Highly recommend this Samsung washer you won't be disappointed.

Our previous washer did not have a agitator and I am happy our new Samsung washer does. I love the smart things feature, because I am very busy and sometimes forget I did a load of laundry, it’s a great reminder. I wish it had more features, like a towel setting. This washer takes almost 2 hours to wash a load of towels on heavy duty setting with an extra rinse. That is very disappointing, it doesn’t seem like an energy efficient feature to me. Also takes about 20 min longer to do a normal load, compared to our previous Samsung washer. This new washer is so much quieter and I definitely enjoy that, our clothes seem to be cleaner. All in all I think it’s a great washer for the price, I would recommend to friends and family.

I barely hear the washer unless it is filling with water. My previous machine was so loud I could hear it from another level in my home. This Samsung washer is a dream in comparison. This washer can wash 2 loads in the time My old one could do 1 load. I am able to get multiple loads done in a short amount of time. I love that I can turn on super speed and make the load wash even faster. The only thing I am not thrilled about is because of its large capacity the drum is deep. I am short so in order for me to reach items from the bottom of the drum, I require a step stool.

The interior is stainless and has an agitator. The size is just right. Not too big or small and will hold the right amount for a load of laundry. It seems to be quieter than older versions. The machine runs smoothly, and is quiet. There are good upgrades and improvements that Samsung has made. Such as more plastic and less metal that'll rust out in the machine. Quieter and a smarter machine. The smart function is spectacular. The smart things app will connect your washing machine to all of you Samsung devices. You can check the progress of the load that you are washing. It'll alert you when the load is complete. The washing modes in my opinion are not an upgrade. For being an energy efficient machine there are no more eco, towel or a cold only modes. Plus the time of most modes on average are about an hour. Add an extra rinse and that is another 34 minutes. If your using the Heavy duty mode it'll run for an hour and 34 minutes. These modes seem inefficient and excessive to me. But on the other end a quick wash will take 31 minutes. All in all this washing machine is average and decent for the price.
