Amazing washer!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer has really been amazing. It's quiet and efficient and gets the clothes clean! The drum is so deep I have to stand on my tippy toes to reach the bottom so you can only imagine the amount of clothes that can fit! Love that the Vibration Reduction Technology reduces noises and vibrations. It is extremely quiet while running! The smart things app is so handy to start loads and know when they have finished. Would recommend!

Love the large capacity
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old washer was 4.5 cu.ft, we had to do multiple loads.. This is 5.5 cu.ft, we are able to 1 load a week.. saves water & electricity :)
I was able to connect this washer with my Smartthings setup (setting up with my iPhone was little clumsy, so I used my wifes Samsung phone to setup it up), it works great, I have option to start the washer from my phone, but the most useful part is, get alerts when the washer is done. Loving it. And the washer runs very quiet, does make loud thumping noise like my old one!!

The biggest advantage is the size- it has very large capacity and works so much better for sheets/blankets/comforters/ pillows. This has helped us cut down on the number of loads. We are family of 8 and we use our washing machine almost every single day. There are multiple temperature settings/ cycle settings which makes it convenient to operate. The fact that it can be operated through app is a great plus. The smart things app was very convenient to use too. It is so quite as compared to our old set of washer. I would highly recommend the washer and dryer to anyone who is looking to upgrade theirs.

7100 Series Washer Capacity for Days
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving all of the settings on this washing machine. Clothes are coming out clean and well rinsed. The capacity is INSANE. I recently had house guests and in the span of a week washed linens for 5 beds. Thanks to this washing machine it was no big deal! Love the app notifications. We have a kiddo that has a separate residence on the property and he can put his clothes in and not wonder when they're finished. The app lets him know when it is time to swap them out. Also a very attractive unit. Very pleased!

Capacity and Quietness
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our first time owning a topload washer, we were skeptical about it, but the washing cycle runs very quiet, spin cycle is also very quiet.. actually quieter than out old frontload washer. I connected my washer dryer set to Smartthings, it gives me notification when the cycle is done, I can even check in the app what exactly going now now and how much time is left. Large capacity but fits perfectly in our tiny laundry room.. Love the overall look.. Thumbsup from me!!

Fast Cycles
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer has numerous cycle options and even ones you can download though the SmartThings app. I also like that the app will tell you when a cycle is over, so you know when to go switch your clothes around. This is helpful when you don't hear the really long singing chime at the end of a cycle. I really like how clean my clothes are coming out compared to my old washer. This machine is very quiet, and washes load quickly. I am impressed with it so far. It is very user friendly. It is very deep, and I have to use a step stool to reach all the way in to retrieve my items at the end of a cycle, but that is a minor inconvenience. I have had it come unbalanced with my bedding, so I will have to see what the proper size load with that is right for the bedding setting, but otherwise I have had no issues and would recommend this washer. I have three pets and I do think this washer helps to remove the hair off of my clothing.

Excellent Performance
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new Samsung electric dryer has been working non-stop, it seems. We do laundry at least a few times a week, so the dryer has been tested well. It exceeded our expectations. 1. The drying time has been cut immensely. No matter which 'drying level' I choose, the clothes are dry very fast. I like to hang some of my clothes while they are still damp, but with this dryer I didn't get the chance, because the cycle would end so quickly. 2. The number of cycles and variety of options are great for our family. Depending on the fabric, occasion, type of garment, we can choose the appropriate settings that fit our needs. So far, they have all been great. 3. Looks: the dryers stands tall and looks nice. I was worried about the white look, but now I am happy about it. It looks modern and elegant. 4. Dryer's capacity is enormous! Lots of clothing normally would mean lots of separate cycles and time wasted, but with this dryer we save time, money and energy.

Best washer purchase ever

Not only is washer a high end appliance it connects to Samsungs Smart Things app. I love that I can use an app to do laundry. Samsung smart things app is easy to use and has a user friendly interface for navigating the app. The washer comes with different settings as well as creating you own setting. The washer has a large opening and can certainly fit a large load of laundry. I can easily fit my king size duvet comforter in the washer without worrying about it getting off balance. I would definitely recommend the washer to family and friends.

Huge Washer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First things first, this Samsung 7100 series Washer has a huge wash tub. The large capacity has definitely help cut down on the number of loads of laundry we have to do with our large family. The soft close lid is nice and doesn't jump scare my wife when I close the lid and walk off. There is a waterspout built in right below the lid that is really convenient, especially since our laundry room doesn't have a sink. The button layout is very fantastic and easy to read. The buttons are very easy to push, and the cycles are very easy to understand and to navigate. Two of my favorite cycles are the bedding/waterproof cycle, and the activewear cycle. The first load we ran through this washer was our huge King comforter. The wash machine passed with flying colors. It was able to submerge and soak the entire comforter and get it looking and smelling nice and clean.
The smart things app was very easy to setup and use. There is a QR code right on the lid and walks you through easy steps to get it up and running. The app has some very useful information like "laundry Recipe" which helps you decide how to wash certain types of clothes if you are unsure. You can also download new types of cycles that aren’t initially on the washer such as Perm press and Wool cycles. You can send cycles to the washer as well and setup timers on when to start and stop them. My favorite part of the app is it alerts me on my phone when either the washer or dryer is done with it's cycle. This is useful when we are outside or hanging out and forget we have laundry going.
Overall, I am thoroughly impressed with this washing machine and have yet to find any critiques that I can think of. We have run it through all the setting and cycles, and it has performed flawlessly so far. I'm looking forward to hopefully many more years with this machine.

Awesome Washer

We recently moved and the washer and dryer that came with our new home was not Samsung... So, of course, I had to replace them!
My washer is slightly bigger than my previous Samsung Washer we had before moving. This washer is also much bigger than the washer that came with our home. I appreciate the big tub! This allows me to do bigger loads of laundry and even wash our bedding! The only downside is that as a short person, the tub is really deep! The clothes at the very bottom are hard to reach, even on my tip toes!
As a mom and dog mom, I find myself doing laundry at least once a day. I am always washing towels and blankets and clothes in between!
Connecting the washer and dryer to the SmartThings App was incredibly quick and easy!
My favorite features of the Samsung washer are the super speed wash, soft-close lid, the variety of washing cycles, and the Energy Star rating.
As for the Samsung dryer, I am excited about the Steam Sanitize+ option. This option is said to kills 99.9% of germs and bacteria, 95% of pollen, and all dust mites. There are also a variety of drying options!

Amazing washer!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer is amazing! It replaces a front load that always had a funky smell because of the scum that was left in the seal. I was so glad to be able to replace it. The drum on this washer is so deep and fits so many clothes. I almost need a stool to reach the bottom!
There are many settings for every load type and even a self clean option. Excited to try that function out! Its very quiet and you can hardly hear it when its running.
I paired it with my smart things app and its so cool to be able to control it from my phone. It even shows the time left on a cycle. This feature will be amazing for when I'm away from home and forget to start the load!
Overall I've been so happy with this washing machine!

From steaming to lightly drying, to just refreshing; I am loving it all. The large capacity lets me dry my king comforter as well as my child's full week of clothes. The dryer seems effective and efficient. It reduces the need for ironing, which I am all for. I am hoping to try the remaining programs and setting in the upcoming weeks.

Amazing washer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this washer! It arrived at the perfect time as I had a bunch of laundry I needed to do including my bedding and 3 blankets for the dogs.
I did 3 loads of laundry - 1 for my bedding, 1 for the dogs bedding and 1 for clothes. This would usually take me AT LEAST 5 separate loads but this washer had so much extra space.
I've used about 4 of the 17 wash cycles, including downloading the Eco Cold onto it from the SmartThings app.
Speaking of the app - setting it up was a complete breeze. I've used SmartThings extensively before but this was by far the easiest. After installing and running a test load I was prompted on my phone to connect to the washer. The best part is I was all the way up stairs and it still connected. When I went downstairs to check on it I was able to easily scan the QR code to finish the setup.
I wasn't entirely sure how I felt about the wifi feature but after spending the day using it I love being able to check on the status or get the remaining time. This is even more true because the washer is just *so* quiet that I can't tell if it's running from anywhere else in the house. Now I just get a notification on my phone that it's done and I know to go down there.
While we're on the topic of the app, there was only one downside that I have found with the washer and the app so far - I would love to be able to create my own custom preset that I could download to the washer. For example I typically wash my clothes on "Normal" but with cold water. The washer by default uses hot water, which isn't a big deal to change. However if I could just create a new preset on the app and download it to the washer that would be absolutely amazing and I do feel like this is a missed opportunity.
However there is just so much to love here. The huge capacity and nearly silent operation are almost mind blowing. I also love that as I'm changing settings on the control panel that it shows me exactly how long it will be running for.
Attached is a not-so-great photo of my current setup. I have a shelf above the units that will either need to be raised or re-located as these are slightly taller than my old ones. So for the time being they're sticking out further than necessary in order to use them.

Their new 5.4 cubic foot extra large capacity smart washer is unbelievable.
It now comes with an active water jet so you can pre-treat your laundry before you start the wash cycle, speaking of that it has 12 preset wash Cycles.
With Samsungs new technology, this washer reduces noise and vibration.
This new washer has a soft closing lid so it doesn't slam, it's self-cleaning, it has 10 different wash options, five different temperature settings, and five different soil settings.
Plus with the filters, it also helps to remove pet hair from your laundry.
This thing is absolutely awesome. We did several loads this week and I can wash a full load of clothes now in 28 minutes. If you use the SmartThings app you can monitor the wash cycles and schedule the washer to start or stop

Great washer with smart features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an awesome washer for anyone who enjoys smart home devices and Samsung products. As a washing machine, it preforms perfect like you would expect from a Samsung appliance. I have washed numerous loads of laundry by now and have had no issues getting clothes of all types clean. There are many different presets for different types of clothes or other laundry items. The best part however, is the addition of the smart features. It was extremely simple to connect to the Samsung Smart Things app. Once connected it can be easily controlled from the app. You can set the exact settings you want and send them to the washer. The best part is being able to see how much time is remaining and getting notifications when complete. The only downside is that you have to remember to turn the washer on and enable smart control each time you use it. As long as you remember to do this when putting the clothes in however, it isn't much of a problem.

Good modern features!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am enjoying my new Samsung washer, especially playing with the many cycle options it has and using the App. Some highlights of the features of the washer in this set are as follows -
1) Ability to download cycles is unique. the set up was easy to follow
2) The washer is very large capacity. This is helpful for large families or bulky items.
3) There are multiple setting and temperature features. This is very handy if you need to vary cycles to to content of the fabric. You can change the temp, speed of cycle, rinse cycles.
4) I really like the ability to add more rinse cycles - this is helpful if someone has sensitive skin.
5) I like the ability to delay the wash periods as well. Having a smart washer is a handy and unique feature.
6) It is relatively quiet to operate
7) I like that it is energy efficient and seems to use the minimum amount of water required.
8) There is a detailed manual that prints online that gives detailed instructions on how to operate the washer. This is easy to read and handy - it would have been great if this was included so I did not have to print or download and save, but it is helpful and not printing saves trees.
Some of the characteristics I think could use improvement -
1) While I like the capacity of the washer - it is very tall and I cannot reach the bottom of it without a stool. This is a significant disadvantage. I am 5'4" or reference, but I don't think a 5'6" person could reach the bottom either. The design needs to be flattened a bit - it is just too tall.
2) The quick cycle only works with small loads. - it references 4lbs in the manual, but what does that mean? it takes a lot of clothes to make 4 lbs - is that wet clothes. I tried to quick wash a down blanket and the top would not get wet so obviously it did not get clean. There needs to be a quick cycle for heavy items.
3) I am still experimenting with super speed, but the cycle times are very long.
4) The soap dispenser stays wet - I have not had a problem with odor yet, but I am concerned about that.
Overall, I think this washer has met my expectations so far. There are a few items above that I think can use improvement. However, overall the clothes seem to come out clean. The set looks very nice and modern. The washer is very large capacity which is excellent. I have not had any issues with stains not coming out the first wash. Overall, I think Samsung has made a good washer.

This Samsung Washer was great for only 1.5 years !
I did like this washing machine but we have only had it for 1 and a half years (still brand new in my book) and the day before Christmas Eve.. the machine turned off and gave us error code 9C8. I thought it was a balance issue and would work itself out but not so lucky. The machine would turn on but only to give us the flashing error code message and none of the other buttons worked. We called Samsung to find out what this error code meant but they were not sure and had us try unplugging the washer for a few minutes to see if it would reset itself but nothing worked. The 1 year warranty had expired so we called a technician and after inspection he determined that we needed a new controller board. Not something that should be needed after only having this machine for 1 and a half years. Part had to be ordered and it took 2 weeks to come in... but it was replaced and my machined worked again. 2 days ago, the same issue with error code 9C8 happened again. How can this happen?

It doesn’t have a steam/sanitize setting. The previous similar model did have this. But it broke and we had to replace it with this one. And I have to find another way to sanitize my clothes. Not good.

DO NOT PURCHASE
This is just to reiterate all of the warnings above. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS UNIT. Browse youtube or search for this product and you will see a number of videos dedicated to support on fixing issues with it. It has a common issue with eventually making loud noises during spin cycle and receiving "UB" code. Samsung makes aesthetically pleasing washers, but they are defective products.
After contacting customer support estimated repair cost is $350, despite the fact that this is a widespread issue with these units being lemons.

Terrible Product, Terrible Company
DO NOT BUY. Don't buy this washer. Don't buy from Samsung. Ever. If I could give this zero stars, I would. The machine is defective. No matter what I do, from running it full, to with one t-shirt, to empty, it errors out on the spin cycle with an "unbalanced load" error. I have not been able to successfully complete a single wash since this was delivered 3 days ago.
I called the joke that is Samsung customer service on day 1, and have now spent a grand total of 3.5 hours on the phone with them in those 3 days. So far they have:
-Offered to replace the defective unit and placed a replacement order, after which they told me it would not be delivered for SIX WEEKS. So I would have no working washing machine for six weeks, because their product was defective. This timeframe was not disclosed to me until after the order was placed, which is a huge problem, because...
-When I told them this was not acceptable they had me place an order for ANOTHER, more expensive unit, that could be delivered faster, but DID NOT DISCLOSE that I couldn't be refunded for the original until I refused delivery on the replacement, scheduled a pick up and waited for 2 weeks for the defective unit to make it back to Samsung...meanwhile they would be holding my money hostage and charging me for a brand new unit
-They have continued to insist that there is absolutely no way to cancel a replacement order that hasn't even shipped yet and won't for several weeks.
How is this any way to run a business? I want this piece of garbage out of my house and my money back. I will never, ever buy a Samsung product again, and anyone reading this shouldn't either.

Worst washing machine purchase of my life!!
This is by far the worst washing machine I've ever purchased brand new. I've had so many problems with this since I've bought it 5 years ago. I've wasted so much time with customer service and had someone come and replace the panel only for it not to work again almost a year later. The support center told me to just buy a new one. It only lasted 5 years! What a piece of junk! I highly recommend this product to nobody! Save your money and time and don't buy samsung washing appliances.

Don’t bother..bad design
We’ve had this washer for over a year and it started marking our clothes and sheets with a grease like substance. A tech came out and instructed us to take the washer apart once a month to clean underneath the agitator. It doesn’t mention this in the manual. No help from customer service to get our damaged clothing / sheets replaced.

Awful, constantly refills w/ water during SPIN
Would not wish the experience of this washer on my worst enemy. The washing part is fine. The problem comes in the rinse & spin cycle, and it is a complete dumpster fire.
During the spin cycle the drum constantly becomes unbalanced and slams into the sides, which causes the washer to dump more water into it in an apparent attempt to fix the issue. However this only further exacerbates the problem because you're completely soaking the load in water, causing more imbalance, causing the system to dump more water in. And so on.
This repeats 3-4 times until it finally stops trying and gives an error code. But not before you've wasted a ton of water. And now you have to try to hand wring items yourself. Forget it if you have a large blanket or comforter: these get so heavy after being soaked in water, it's a nightmare to try to pick it up. Plus where are you supposed to put this soaking wet item while you try to deal with it, the shower, the floor?
You end up needing to stand by the washer during the spin cycle, constantly monitoring for the imbalance, at which point you need to turn the machine off quickly before it dumps any more water in, try to reshift the items and hand wring them, and so on.
Also even if you put it on "SPIN ONLY", it will still dump water in if it senses it's imbalanced!!
And this problem occurs no matter what load size. I just put two regular sized towels in and it did the same thing, filling up a full drum with water 3 times. I cannot believe this is a problem that is occurring in 2024 for such a massive company. No software patch to fix the "spin only' from still dumping in water, no warnings or adequate solutions to existing customers. Ridiculous and unacceptable customer experience. I would like Samsung to just send me a check so I can buy another brand of washer and move on with my life.

Don't buy
Agree with the other negative reviews. Washer worked for less than two years and UR error code would appear with the washer stopping during most spin cycles. Cost for repair is the same as the cost to purchase a new washer. Samsung said they'd pay parts as a courtesy but the cost of labor would still be too high to justify not just buying another washer. Will be looking at other brands.

Don't waste your money!
Machine works perfectly fine for 3 years, exactly, after that it has a known issue with error code UR when spinning, samsung doesn't cover that and it costs minimum $250 TO GET IT FIXED, my sister had maytag for 15 years, no issues!
