Reliable Garage Fridge for Tough Temps!
I needed a refrigerator that could stand up to the extreme temperatures in my garage—both summer heatwaves and winter chills. After a few weeks of use, I’m seriously impressed. Despite the recent scorching heat, this fridge has kept everything perfectly cool without skipping a beat.
I was initially concerned it might be too small, but the interior space is well designed and surprisingly roomy. Plenty of space for drinks, extras, and the occasional frozen pizza emergency.
The only thing I miss is my previous bottom-freezer setup. With the freezer on top, I find myself bending down more often to reach everyday items. It’s a minor tradeoff, though, considering how well this appliance performs.
Overall, this fridge has exceeded expectations—it’s efficient, quiet, and tough enough for garage duty. Highly recommend for anyone needing dependable performance in unpredictable conditions.

Perfect Garage Fridge
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect fridge for your garage. It's nice and slim with just enough space to put extra drinks and frozen foods. One thing is the finger prints do stick so I don't see how it should be finger print free. All in all its a good solid fridge.

Amazing Refridgerator
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great Fridge!. Its slim yet modern design doesn't take up much space at all. But this fridge holds 2x any other fridge that I currently have. From Touch Screen Fridges to side by side fridge freezer this fridge is the mammoth that just keeps holding more and more and more. The lighting in it is great. Its nice led soft light that slowly brightens as you open it. Its whisper quiet. I can't even tell its on if i don't open and check. The controls are flush mounted so you don't have to worry about them taking up space. From initial plug in to being able to stock it up was so quick i want to say less than an hour to make this fridge and freezer ice cold. A+++ To samsung for finally making a no frills refridgerator that is affordable and is probably big enough for a family of 5 yet small enough to fit anywhere in the kitchen!!!

Perfect for families with kids
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been wanting a fridge for our garage for a long time - this one is perfect. It’s spacious, not loud, and keeps everything perfectly cold. We mostly wanted it for holidays and meal prepping, but so far it’s been great for frozen treats and drinks for the kids when they’re playing outside (especially now that summer is here!). I appreciate the simple design of the fridge - lots of big empty space for things like watermelons and turkeys. :) Very happy so far!

Optimal Storage, Well Thought Out Design
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the Samsung RT70F18LRSRAA 18 cu.ft. Garage-Ready Top Freezer Refrigerator in Stainless Steel for about a month now and I have to say, I am impressed with the amount of space to store things. The inside design is well thought out, with nothing in the way to take up shelf or storage space. I especially like the milk door bin to store the gallon jugs of milk which leave space on the shelves for other items, such as my fruit salad, that I like to make during the hot summer days. The fruit drawer is large enough to accommodate the watermelon and other items that I need for my fruit salad until I am ready to make it.
The only thing that I don't like and feel needs improvement, is the inside door light is slow to come on when the main door is opened. I'm old school, and when the light in the refrigerator does not come on right away when the door is opened it means the refrigerator is not working. But then it comes on and I feel relieved. I guess it is just something I will have to get used to.
All in all, it is a nice Garage-Ready refrigerator and I look forward to the many years of using it and filling it up with good stuff to eat.

Super handy garage fridge
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got the Samsung 18 cu. ft. Top Freezer Refrigerator in Stainless Steel for my garage, and it’s been a solid addition. It’s garage-ready, which means it handles temperature swings without a hitch, important for my New England winters and humid summers. The All-Around Cooling system really works; everything from drinks to leftovers stays evenly chilled.
My version doesn't have an ice maker (optional - but I choose not to get it), which leaves me with plenty of freezer space for frozen goods. Inside, the adjustable shelves and large door bins make it easy to organize bulkier items like jugs or trays. I especially like the reversible door feature, which gave me flexibility in setting it up in a tight garage corner.
It also runs quietly, which surprised me, no loud humming like my old fridge. The stainless steel finish looks sharp and doesn’t smudge easily, even with greasy hands. Plus, the SmartThings app integration lets me monitor energy usage and settings from my phone, which is a nice bonus. (Especially since all my other appliances are by Samsung)
If you’re looking for a no-fuss, dependable fridge for extra food storage, especially in a garage or basement setup, this model hits the mark. Just be aware that if you want an ice maker, you’ll need to purchase it separately.

Finally a Fridge that holds everything!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Besides that every aspect of this fridge is perfect. I have 3 fridges in my house. I have one High tech with the screen, I have one old school double door 20 years old and now this one. This Samsung Fridge is my favorite. They took out all the bells and whistles and gave it more room on the inside. This thing holds everything. I have 6 12 packs of soda 12 1 liters of soda 4 cases of kids drinks, 24 16oz bottles of drinks and there's still half the fridge of room left. In the freezer I have 16 2lb bags of broccoli 24 - 2.5lb bags of corn 50 Chocolate chip cookies, 2 loves of bread pack of hot dog buns and again there is still room.
The unit is absolutely silent. When you open either door, even though its packed the light GENTLY comes on so it doesn't blind you and lights up the entire space so you can see everything.
It cools quickly and adjusts the temperature fast.
This thing is amazing. I was going to buy a cube freezer but this makes me so much happier and useful. Finally a unit with space!!!

Lots of Space for Storage
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only had the Samsung RT70F18LRSRAA 18 cu.ft. Garage-Ready Top Freezer Refrigerator in Stainless Steel for less than one week and haven't had the chance to fill it up yet, but I am impressed with all the space I will have for storing the overflow from my main refrigerator. From the outside the refrigerator looks small, but inside it has a lot of space. Three adjustable glass shelves for easy spill clean up, a fruit and vegetable bin, three bins in the door, one being a gallon sized bin, and one shelf in the freezer. The gallon size diary bin on the bottom of the door is great for storing milk, juice, or pop so that I can use the shelf space for larger flat items, like a cheese and fruit platter or a large birthday cake! The recessed door handles on both the freezer and main door, make the refrigerator look sleek and up to date. The doors have recessed handles on both sides of it making the choice of how the door opens up to you and where you decide to put the refrigerator. It also has an open door sensor that will start alarming if the door is left open for more than 2 minutes, which is great for my family that constantly leave the door ajar. This refrigerator is so quiet, I have to open the door to make sure it is working. The Samsung Garage-Ready Top Freezer Refrigerator is a great addition to my appliances!

Good second garage fridge
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've now had this Samsung top freezer refrigerator for about a month now. This is an addition to the Samsung bespoke we have in our kitchen. Now we will have more space to store our frozen and refrigerated items, and it fits perfectly in the corner of our garage near the door. This Samsung product does exactly what it is supposed to do. The setup was quick and simple with the Samsung SmartThings app. This version of the refrigerator does not have the ice maker, which is fine because we have plenty of ice in our indoor unit. There is only one thing I do not like, and that is the smudges that are easy to accumulate on the stainless steel finish. Such a simple piece of equipment to operate and no problems thus far. I would certainly recommend this Samsung refrigerator to anyone needing something simple and good looking.
