Great cooktop gas range

Great features

An Attractive, Functional Cooktop
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this cooktop installed recently and it has proven to be an excellent appliance. I really like the design of the grates and the stainless steel finish is a gorgeous match for my other appliances. My previous cooktop had the controls on the right side and I much prefer the way this one has the controls across the front. Cooking with it has been a joy and I could not be happier.

Sharp design and well constructed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We performed a lot of research and looked at a number of cook tops before choosing this to replace our existing one. We've been using it for several months and are very happy with it. It operates as described. The construction is solid, especially the grates, it ignites immediately and it's easy to clean. The set up of 4 burners is good. 5 may be too close to realistically work on a 30 inch. Happy with our Samsung products.

WOW the cooking
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife received this 30 inch cooktop from Samsung. She was always a good cook. If you could see me you would understand. With this new cook top she has regained her love of cooking. She can't stop talking about the look of the cook top, how the grates are a little taller, so she can adjust the flames better. She lets me use it on occasion and from my little experience it is by far the best cook top I have ever used.

Enjoying cooking again!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love our new cooktop, what an upgrade from our old contractor grade one.
I do the majority of cooking in our house because I love trying new recipes, new cuisines, creating healthy meals for my family and this cooktop has made a world of difference.
The controls are so easy to use and the burners super easy to control to maintain a boil, or a simmer, or whatever you call it when you are melting chocolate at a barely there flame.
I like the blue light around the knobs, it makes it easy to see just what they are set on from a distance (and they look pretty cool as well) The grates are heavy duty and the continuous grill makes it easy to slide pots and pans around without lifting them. That is a huge plus when you want to move a giant cast iron dutch oven from a high flame to the small flame burner in the back just to keep things warm.
The continuous grate also lets me leave pots or pans just on the grate while using all 4 burners. Saves me from putting a hot pot on the counter while finishing meal preparation.
The stainless steel finish is sleek and smooth and cleans up easily, no little seams and crevices for gunk to get caught in. The finish brightens the whole space. I do have to stay in regard to cleanup- I have had far fewer boilovers since getting this cooktop because of how accurately the burners can be controlled, so less mess, less cleanup.
It took less time to install it than it took to remove our old cooktop. Dropped it in and hooked it up. My wife uses the wifi feature to monitor the burners and timing. She likes it as she does not feel like she has to be sitting in the kitchen staring at it.
We are both more than happy, we are delighted with the looks, function and durability of our new Samsung cooktop. (Now I need to buy new cookware-old stuff works fine but I want EVERYTHING to look spiffy)

I love this cook top
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this cook top, it looks good in our kitchen, it’s very easy to use. I feel like it cooks better than my older one I had. The flames are a decent height. The only down fall was the cord for it to be plugged in was to short so we had to move the wall plug closer. We are very happy with this cook top. It performs better than I thought would. It’s easy to clean also. I would recommend this to family and friends and I would buy it again in the future if needed

It's so nice
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stove is so nice. Delivery was scheduled, and it was setup in a timely manner. The guys that set it up were really nice. We even joked a bit. They installed it quickly too.
This Samsung stove has 4 burners. I really like that the cast iron grates have a large area, unlike other stoves where the grates can cause some instability with big pots. We love to entertain, so we use a lot of big pots and pans. The burners also get really hot, really quickly.
I’ve cooked breakfast every single day since this stove was delivered. It has done an awesome job. Because the grates are over the fire, I can control the temperature a lot better than with other stoves because I can clearly see the flame.
I do the majority of the cleaning at our house, so I can really appreciate that this stove is easy to clean. I haven’t had to use any chemicals to clean it, just a wet dish rag.
Everyone who has seen our new stove has tried to come up with an excuse to need to come cook at our house. I guess that’s how it is with new purchases. This stove has made me want to upgrade all of the kitchen appliances to match. It is an awesome design that can blend into any kitchen. We got the black stainless which looks amazing!

Very Pleased
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m very pleased with this cooktop. The burners light easily. The grate covers the entire cooktop, so pans are in no danger of sliding off a burner or tipping over if you don’t quite set them down just right. The stainless steel is flat, with no places for spills to puddle. We tend to use the larger burners more than the smaller ones, so I appreciate that the two larger burners are in the front, rather than cater-corner with one in front and the other in the back.

Cook-top cooking

I think the variety of burner size from slow simmer to the powerful high BTU burner is awesome. This allows the flexibility to accommodate a number of dishes at once. The front controls are user friendly and easy to reach. The sealed burners prevent food from dropping into the burners, a major plus if you have other family members (teens) that may spill or boil over food. This is a great quality cooktop and beautiful design. I highly recommend.

30" Samsung Cooktop in Black Stainless Steel
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This gas cooktop is amazing! I previously had a 4-burner GE cooktop and this Samsung cooktop is lightyears beyond what I previously had.
The construction of this stove is solid and the burners give off so much heat that I cook at a lower gas setting.
The front controls with the oversized dials are great, very conveniently placed with a premium feel.
I also love the continuous grill design, it gives the entire cooktop such a modern and edgy look; this cooktop has totally transformed my kitchen.
Finally, cleaning up has never been easier! With the sealed burners I no longer have to worry about spills dripping into the burner holes, that was always an issue with my old stove and it could never get fully clean. Also the flat smooth surface the burners sit on is also a plus because food and spills just wipe away; there aren't any nooks or crannies for them to get trapped in, truly a brilliant design.

I absolutely love this cook top
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this cook top, it’s super easy to use, it seems to heat up my pots and pans fast than the one I had before which is great because when I do a lot of cooking I need the stuff to heat up faster. It looks so good in my kitchen. I’m so happy that I got this cook top. The flame is a good size when you use it which I believe helps heat up the pans and pots faster. It’s easy for me to clean and keep clean. I would recommend this cook top to anyone who was looking to buy one. The only think I wish could be improved was a longer power cord because we had to move our outlet plug closer which cost us more money because the power cord wasn’t long enough to reach the wall outlet in our older house. The installation was a breeze. I like the size of the nobs on here. I would buy this again if I ever need to get another one in the future when this one breaks one day.

Loving my new Cooktop
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had our new cooktop a couple weeks now and absolutely love it! It replaces a 15 year old builder grade cooktop and was a super easy install process. Disconnected and pulled out the old one, and just dropped this one into place and made the connections. It is sleek and modern looking. and has instantly upgraded the look of my kitchen. I love the continuous surface grates, they are heavy duty and have a nice finish. They allow me to slide my pots and pans around, and even move them to the side. The burners themselves are so easy to control and tweak, and have a much higher BTU output than any other cooktop I have had. A large pot of water came to a boil quickly, and I was able to control it down to a simmer very easily. I was also able to melt chocolate on the small burner without scorching it or having to use a double boiler. I love that the control knobs are in the front, I don't have to reach over anything to reach them. They operate smoothly and the backlighting makes it is easy to see what they are set at, especially at night. They are really great because I don't have to go right up to the stove to see if I left a burner on. Speaking of - I NEVER thought I would use SmartConnect, but after downloading the app into my iphone and "practicing" I have found it helpful for monitoring what the burners are doing. Both the burners trays, grates, burners and knobs are really easy to clean and look good as new after cleaning. The finish matches my Samsung fridge perfectly.I am really happy with my choice! Actually DH is as well, he is even getting into the cooking!

Easy to clean

Love how i can easily clean the stove top by removing but it is heavy.
Wish it had one extra one in the middle and different sizes on each sides could’ve been nice.

Impressive Appearance
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been using the cooktop for about 2 weeks now. Everything is great except that the back burners are too close to the backsplash. This would be a great cooktop if you are installing it in an island, but be careful if it is being installed by a wall. For some reason, nearly all cooktops come with the knobs on the front instead of on the side.

Good but could be better
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my more expensive Bosch 30 inch cooktop with this one. Overall, I am satisfied with the quality of his cooktop. It has worked well, and has not given us any problems. It is priced right for the function it performs. The burners are well designed and heat much faster than my previous cooktop. The black color looks nice. There are a couple of areas where this product could be improved:
1. Distance between burners - When using a 10 inch pan on this cooktop, there is no way to put another pan next to it on the adjacent burner. The two burners are close to each other. This makes it difficult to use 3 or 4 burners at the same time. If you are one of those chefs who likes to use multiple burners at once, this is not for you. This has not been a big issue for us
2. Indicator - There is no visual indicator, such as LED, to let you know if any or all burners are in use. This has resulted in a situation where initially we forgot to switch off the gas at times. Perhaps becase the previous cooktop had this indicator. We have got used to this cooktop now and this is hardly a problem
The cooktop is easy to clean and meets all our basic requirements quite well. As designed and priced, this is not a fancy cooktop. The materials used are high quality. It is also easy to clean

Samsung 30" Cooktop
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've using the Samsung 30" gas cook top for about 30 days and it works as advertised. The unit itself is pretty basic, 4 burners, electric start etc. A few things we like about it is the grate that your pan sits on is heavy iron which is good for placing hot plates and pans on. We also like the way the burners come apart for cleaning. The burners are also arranged so that you have a simmer, medium flame and two heavy flame burners when you want to cook something fast. The burners are easy to take apart and clean. The issues we have with the cook top are 1) the grates are heavy and 2) when you have a pan on the grate, it is difficult to see the intensity of the flame . We installed the unit ourselves and it was easy. The installation instructions were clear and easy to follow. If you're looking for a no frills cook top, we would recommend this unit.

Very Nice Cooktop
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this new cooktop quite a bit in the past few weeks. I have made many things on the cooktop and it is a major appliance I use every day. My last cooktop was outdated and looked rough. This one looks amazing. It heats up faster that my previous cooktop which is a huge plus. The stainless steel looks great. The grates are high and pronounced. My only gripe is that the unit is a bit small. It is difficult to use the front and back burners at the same time if using large pans. I did not have that issue with my old unit. Besides that, this unit is amazing and I would recommend it.
Update: After using the cooktop some more I have come to love having the controls in the front as opposed to on the side like my last cook top. They are easier to get to, but one trade off is less burner space. the sealed burners are very nice and cleanup is a breeze. It takes me less than 5 minutes to clean the cooktop.

Nice Cooktop
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooktop replaced another brand with a tempered glass top, which had shattered after boiling water was spilled on it. Installation was simple: turn off the gas, disconnect the line, unplug the electric cord (powers burner ignition), lift out the old unit. Put the new unit in, connect and turn on the gas, plug in the cord. The stainless steel is attractive and easy to clean. The burners don't sit in separate wells, so there isn't a problem with grease pooling. The heavy metal grate gives a level surface, so pans can easily be slid from any burner across the surface. The grate retains heat for a bit, so in that sense it somewhat acts like an electric cooktop. The grate is large enough that the cooking surface is a couple inches higher than our previous unit, which is noticeable from my wheelchair. Yesterday I made Swedish pancakes, and that extra height made it a little bit harder to see and reach into the pan. This unit has 4 burners with the knobs in the front, and heats up easily. I'm enjoying it.

Completes My Kitchen
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the look of my new cooktop. The cast iron grates are heavy duty and the design allows for one smooth continuous surface. Black Stainless offers sleek look without the shine of traditional stainless. Knobs are easily accessible from the front and are removable for cleaning. One of my favorite features is the sealed burners! They allow for easy clean up and prevents spills from getting inside of the unit (which happens often with older kids).
Installation was fast and easy and the installers were so professional and courteous. They actually added brackets for additional support which my old unit did not have. That was very much appreciated. We did have one burner that would not stay lit, but the stovetop is under warranty and with one simple email we had a response and it will get it fixed immediately no questions asked.
My only one disappointment with this model is that the cook space does not allow use of front and back burners at the same time because of limited space. It is perfect for using side by side burners or on diagonal, but in the unlikely you need three-four burners at once you will need plan accordingly.
This is truly one of the easiest cooktops to use. The settings are spot on, heat quickly and cook evenly. I am very happy with this cooktop and would definitely recommend for the ease of use and cleanup!

Good looking -visually pleasing, and high-quality design
large, easy-to-use knob controls.
The two pieces of corner-to-corner cast iron grates allows you to smoothly slide cookware around the surface.
4 burners from very powerful to very small for simmering handle different cooking needs.
There are some shortcomings with the arrangement of the burners.
The front burners and the back burners are too close together. You may not be able to use the 2 burners that are on the same side at the same time if one port is large then 7 inch in size.

Good Cooktop
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the cooktop about a week ago and have used it every day. From an aesthetic standpoint the cooktop looks great. The grates are very nice, and the stainless steel looks fantastic. The flame that comes out on the high setting quickly boils water compared to my last cooktop. I use the cooktop at least once a day if not more. The grates sit high but look nice. I have the 4 burner, 30 inch model with the controls in the front. My one gripe with the unit is that the burners are a bit too close together. I have a hard time using a large pan and then a small pot or pan on the rear burner. I must cook gluten free for myself and regular for my family, so I usually cook 2 meals. I am finding I must cook my meal first, then my family’s meal due to the space constraints. For most people this probably won’t be an issue. Overall, I love the cooktop.
