Sharp 1.1 cu. ft. 1000W Microwave
It is the quietest microwave we have ever owned!
The interior lighting is great. It has a darker hue, which is easy on the eyes!
The carrousel has a free floating glass plate, that I assume was designed to protect the motor from stress!
But the best thing we like about this microwave is, when you open the door when it is beeping, the beeping quits! All the other microwaves we have owned, whether countertop, or over range, have all kept the incessant beeping after the door was opened!
All in all, we think you won't go wrong purchasing this countertop microwave, and it is well worth the price!

Attractive, Feature Filled, and Works Great
Purchased this Sharp microwave to replace our previous Sharp that died after 18 years of continuous use. We were delighted to see that Sharp had a model similar to our previous one with all the same, convenient features. We like the grey interior, similar to our main oven. The interior light is bright and useful. The microwave sound is hardly noticeable, not loud at all. The time and temperature features are easy to operate. It heats well at whatever power percentage you select. We love the quick 30 second function and that numbers 1-6 are programmed to give you 1-6 minutes on high at the touch of one button. And we do very much like the illuminated clock that gives just enough light at nighttime to double as a kitchen nightlight. We find the kitchen timer handy for many uses. What's not to like? We wouldn't have bought any other model or brand. Thank you Sharp!

Thrilled with New Microwave!
I purchased this microwave after extensive research to find a quality unit after disappointment with other brands. Sharp had many good reviews & was reasonably priced.
This microwave oven is stylish, easy to clean and user friendly. I chose the unit in black to match other appliances in the kitchen. It comes in 3 colors (black, white & stainless steel) to match any decor. Also fits nicely on the countertop at 1.1 cubic feet.
This is a 1000 watt microwave, very powerful & effective at its job. There is a similar unit that is bigger with higher wattage but I chose this one to save on electricity. This model also has an LED bulb which should last longer than an incandescent to save energy as well.
This oven heats evenly which is important for food safety. I've had other microwaves in past that seem to take forever to cook. This one is very fast for the wattage.
Would definitely recommend this unit based on Sharps reputation, ease of use and price point vs. other models.

Reliable Microwave
We used several Sharp microwaves where I worked. Never saw a failure. When it came time for a new one at home, we purchased a Sharp. That was about 10 years ago. When I needed a second unit for a different floor, purchased a Sharp and it too has been flawless.

Way Better than the 20 year old Sharp it replaced
This new one uses less energy but cooks faster than out previous one. Door latching is quieter and smoother. Much nicer than expected.

Needed a good microwave during kitchen remodeling
We needed a small countertop microwave to put in the dining room (our temporary kitchen). This was highly rated and proved to be just what we needed: easy to operate, support information was complete and straightforward, and the unit is attractive (we’ve received several compliments on its looks). Our new kitchen will include a new Sharp pullout microwave. Can’t wait to see how well it will perform.

Great microwave for your everyday needs
My Sharp microwave has made a heck of a difference when it comes to my everyday cooking needs. It reheats my leftovers with ease, melts butter without much effort when I bake and has a safety feature to click UNLOCK to prevent children from accessing hot foods after reheating.

Good basic microwave.
Good basic microwave. Small foot print. Heats food quickly. Pops popcorn and cooks potatoes well. Mid price range. Seems to be a good quality, well built microwave. Replaced a three year old, failed Whirlpool microwave. Hope it lasts!

This unit is almost identical to the one that it replaced. Controls are familiar (same). I was very happy with the unit prior to this (lasted 10 years of heavy use) and expect this one will be as pleasant to use. My only complaint is the lighting inside; not nearly as bright and useful as my old Sharp:-(
