Terrific Features!
Our Sharp microwave is used *every day* for everything from small instant snacks to reheating plated meals. Seems like Sharp has delivered quality microwaves F O R E V E R because we've always returned to the Sharp product line after 'experimenting' with other brands, the Sharp long term durability is unmatched in our experience. The Sharp easy-use menu system and options give us the flexibility to maximize its use in our busy daily schedule.
However, we do miss the rather trivial 'message' when a cooking cycle has ended, our previous Sharp microwaves displayed 'END' when the cycle finished - like I said, it's a trivial con, but we do miss it when things get busy around the kitchen!
All in all, we wouldn't trade our Sharp microwave for ANY OTHER brand whatsoever!!

Once a sharp always a sharp
I’ve owned sharp microwaves since about 1990 and I got a new one now not because the old one broke but simply because it was seven years old and a little dirty. The new one is quieter and has better rubber grips so that it doesn’t slide around on the counter. Everything else is the same as the old which I love.

LOVE this microwave
We spent a long time looking for a good microwave that fit all our needs: high wattage (over 1100) , counter top, not loud, & not too big but big enough to have a good wattage. This microwave has surpassed my expectations! You can turn the child lock feature off, which is really nice because that was the only review that stuck out to me as being “bad.”
I’d recommend this to anyone who needs a counter top microwave that actually warms your food evenly and quickly! It’s had no problems since purchased and I’d buy it again!

1.1 Cu. Ft. 1000 W Microwave Experience
I had a previous Sharp model of the same rating for six years. This Sharp model is quieter than the previous model and well constructed. The touchpad menu is easy to use, with lots of features. I use it to heat or defrost frozen food and reheat leftovers. I use it to warm up drinks every day. Reheating pizza is my favorite, the taste as good as fresh. I like the bright display. As recommended, I wipe it clean after each use inside and out, to keep it in prime shape. I would recommend this same model to friends or anyone else that needs one.

First it looks very nice, I got the stainless and was very impressed. It runs smooth and quiet. No issues at all. Very glad I chose the Sharp. I trust this brand and would buy again.

Microwave replacement
This new Sharp microwave replaces our old Sharp that was very old. We loved our old one so much that we knew we wanted to replace it with the same brand. We like the new one even more, as it is a tad smaller so it takes up less space but just as expansive inside and powerful as our old one.

Replaced my 17 year old Sharp!
My last, and greatest, microwave was a Sharp. It last longer than my marriage. And then one day it just wouldn’t turn on. I was frantic. Not at being without a critical (to me) kitchen appliance but at the loss of a friend. My microwave had been there for me when others weren’t. It listened to my morning groans. It helped with my party planning. It gave me warm milk for the nights I couldn’t sleep. So then began the hunt for a replacement. I knew my old model was no longer in production so I made a very scientific deduction - I compared pics and found my new kitchen helper. It’s perfect. It’s got a few bells and whistles I’m still figuring out but it’s my Sharp. I’m relieved. I’m proud of myself. I’m still grieving for the old one but life does indeed go on. Thank you Sharp for giving me a new lease on life.

good basic microwave
since I've had this microwave a short time I can't attest to it's longevity, but I did have another sharp carousel years ago that lasted a very long time, so I hope this current one will be similar. So far, I have no complaints. It's a very easy to use basic microwave that serves my needs.

Perfect size microwave for 1 person
Easy to use, and the perfect size and functions for someone who doesn't need or want more bells and whistles such as air fryer or convection capabilities. The spacious interior is well lit, and the controls are very user friendly.

Great little microwave
This microwave has stood the test of time. Though I rarely use it to “cook” an entire meal, it’s perfect for reheating food and liquids and keeps on working long after other microwaves have given up. A full sized dinner plate fits easily.
Two issues-1. No backlighting on the keys so hard to use in the dark 2. The potato setting doesn’t cook a decent sized potato.
You can’t go wrong with this microwave.

Just what we needed to replace an old microwave.
Replaced an old microwave Needed one to fit in a limited space, had to be at least a 1000. Watts and it had to be white. Searched the internet and this Sharp model came up and my local appliance store had it in stock. I love it . My very first microwave was a Sharp and that was over 50 years ago.

I always buy Sharp Carousel microwaves. This is another excellent one.
The Only complaint I have is the brightness of the clock. It is so bright that at night it is difficult to read.

Unique Feature
Not only is this product stylish, cost effective, and worth the investment, it contains a child protective feature which is a major plus. It contains so many different levels of how you can cook your food with just one press of a button along with a OZ mark (indicates the weight of the food) and cup Mark feature (indicates how many cups of beverage). Highly recommend especially for the price and value.

Perfect Microwave
I love this microwave. Not only is it the biggest bang for your buck... there is alot of wattage packed into this nicely sized unit. This is the quietest microwave I've ever owned, I was shocked and happily surprised. The interior size is more than adequate and there isn't anything that I can't fit in there. My most favorite microwave yet.

Sharp comes through again
I've always had Sharp microwave ovens. And now have another good one. ... but be aware: the roller glide under the glass tray SNAPS in and out.. a fine improvement but so surprising I opened a help ticket on it (I couldn't get the roller glide out of the oven!!)... only to finally find (with a neighbor's help) that it SNAPS out, unlike the past ones which just lifted out. I was afraid of breaking it so did not TUG on it, but you have to TUG on it.

Sharp 21 in 1.1 Microwave
This replaced an older version of the same unit. This one is a bit less powerful but works much better, with a modern sleek design. Very satisfied with the product and the outstanding service we received from the manager in the West Babylon location!!!

Sharp Microwave SMC1162Ks
Sharp Microwaves are by far the best microwaves on the market! They are dependable and roomy for large meals. Did I mention LONG LASTING! The last one I had lasted 12 years before I had to replace it. This is my 3rd Sharp Microwave, and I am a forever fan.

Sharp Microwave
Great product! Sharp has reliable products. My last microwave, also a Sharp, ran for 15+years. Unfortunately, that microwave was ruined by burning a bagel inside! Not on purpose and I couldn't get the odor out. So, I bought a new Sharp and it's great! All the latest bells and whistles that my old one didn't have.

Very happy with my purchase
Great purchase. Purchased before total shoulder replacement because I would not be able to reach the microwave over the stove. Worked out great on the counter. Have continued using this microwave instead of the overhead even though now I could. Always satisfied with Sharp products. Have owned other Sharp microwaves in the past and was satisfied which is why I chose Sharp again.

This product is so durable and heats food so well
The locking feature is perfect for preventing our young children from opening the microwave. The conduction and performance is just the same as when we got it nearly 1 year ago. I would recommend this microwave to my family and friends!!
