I'm happy with the Sonos Sub Gen 3
I was faced with a difficult situation. After finishing our home and furnishing it, my 20 year old Velodyne sub would no longer fit with the furniture- or so my wife said. Having a 7" space between a walnut cabinet we had built and the wall, the Sonos sub slid-in, fit and sounds great. Having the 'bottom-end' of the music with 4 speakers in a vaulted ceiling filled-in the sound.

Critical piece of your system!
The sub may not be the first piece of your Sonos system but it is critical to getting that amazing sound. Once you have your main speakers be sure to work a sub into your plan! The sound is amazing.

I have the entertainment set with two One-SL and beam soundbar and this sub upgrade is AMAZING!! I'm blown away by its performance. I would love to add a second Gen 3 sub when I can. Just waiting for the right moment. Do not hesitate when it comes to Sonos

A must if you have the arc
I had the arc for about 6 months without the sub and the sound was good but a little flat. I was slightly disappointed with it, but tho it getting the sun might fill out the sound more. The sun elevates the arc to be a stand out combo of sound bar and sub! Super impressed with the combo!

I would definately recommend this sub
Just added this to my system, I love it. It doesn't vibrate the walls like my old Sony from years ago but it enhances the whole experience. Glad I bought it.

Adds so much richness
I added the sub gen 3 to my existing arc. Wow, what a difference! Movies, music, even news channels sound better and it's not overwhelming. The device is easy to adjust on the fly with the app and setup.

Excellent base
I wrote a review on my SONOS ARC Sound Bar which I love but I wanted to add more base to it and have been considering to purchase one of the SONOS subwoofers to ad to it. I decided to buy the Gen 3 Sub and oh boy! what a nice complement this sub is to the sound bar and I'm very happy with these purchases. I needed a little help setting both up because they had to be synchronized to work together but tech support walked me through the whole thing and it was done in no time. Great sound!!!

It's a game changer
I had heard buying the sound bar and 2 SL speakers would be adequate and the sub woofer is a subtle improvement to the surround sound experience. I'm here to tell ya the Sub woofer is the most important element to this system. It is the best sub woofer I've ever heard. 5 times better than my Bose system. Twice as good as my Bang O system. Bite the bullet and get this!

Must needed addition to your sound system.
Easy to install. Easy to use. Our system was great already, but was lacking that deep rumble with movies and bass with music. This thing is AMAZING!!! Made such a huge improvement. Tested it out with Top Gun: Maverick. Did not disappoint!

I would buy again-sound is better than I expected
Primarily TV audio. Music is much better with audio recorded in last few years-technically higher quality recording than 60's-70's recording. Was very difficult to set up with Eero WiFi. Unable to set up with Sonos chatbot, chat or technical assist. Required service call from home audio to set up. Room placement also not clear as to best sound.

Everlasting Bass
I didn't think a second subwoofer was going to make a crazy difference in my audio experience. Boy was I wrong! This is my second Sonos subwoofer. It has changed in the way my entertainment room sounds completely. You can totally hear the addition of the second subwoofer. It really increases the lows for movies, music, and everything else. Even YouTube videos are more fun to watch. Sonos you have never failed me. A+++

Super easy to setup. Ditched our 5.1 surround system for the sonos arc, sub and Era 300. This system rocks! Super easy to setup and sound quality is amazing. No remotes, easy tuning (only ios), and thumping base. These surround speakers really put out emmersove sound. A+

Impressive bass
Wow! I was impressed with my first sub, but when I got the second I noticed so much more submersion. I can feel the music! I didn't know what I was missing. Glad I made the purchase. Not redundancy, a much richer sound. Arc, two fives and now two subs. It's an experience well worth it! Even movies are so much more! I highly recommended it.

Sub (Gen 3) has been a wonderful purchase. You feel the bass, but not in a way that vibrates you and everything in the room. It feels like the low end sound is coming from within you and surrounding you at the same time. It's hard to describe. The only thing I wish would happen is when I click night mode on the app it turned off the sub. If I could turn off the sub via voice command would be great as well. Maybe there will be a software update.

Can this be paired with the Sonos Bluetooth speakers?
Hi, and thank you for your question. The Sub can bond with our products that have bluetooth over wifi, however when they are in bluetooth mode it will not work as the connection is wifi.
