This dryer is absolutely awesome cutting my drying time almost in half compared to the electric one we have been using for several years. The cost to operate is significantly lower than the electric one recently used. Very efficient machine. Wish I had up graded to the Speed Queen years earlier.

Exactly what we were looking for!
We’ve had our dryer for about a month now, and it has been great! It works well and our electric bill has not changed. The machine is well built and easy operation. It is pricey but worth it if I get 20 years out of it. When my Maytag washer quits we’ll get the matching washer.

Great dryer
Had Maytag dryers for 50 years, switched to speed queen after I purchased a SQ washer. Took a little trial and error to find the dryer settings I like. But thoroughly love it as much as my washer!

Top of the line Dryer
I only had this dryer a little over a month, but am very pleased with it. It is well made and I purchased it after reviewing other gas dryers on the market that appeared to be cheaply made. My only recommendation would be that the dryer had an end of cycle alert notification that had a volume control switch.

Best on the market
I really like my new Speed Queen dryer. It has a nice big drum and I like that the lint trap is inside the front door instead of on top, like some of the dryers we looked at. It's quiet and I'm hoping it will last 26 years like my last dryer did.

Speed Queen Dryer
The dryer works as expected and the clothes dry nicely. There is a loud sound when drying medium to heavy loads, but a tech came out and ordered a part. The part took about two to three weeks for the tech to return for the repair. The repair is scheduled for next week. Overall we are happy with the dryer.

So fast!
I hope this is the last dryer I ever have to purchase! It replaced a top-of-the-line Kenmore Elite from the early 2000s that came with the house when I bought it. I couldn't use it on normal heat b/c the plastic parts were off-gassing toxins! It worked fine on low or no heat, I thought....I didn't realize how bad it was until I got my new Speed Queen! It is so fast and efficient! I LOVE the LED interior light and the lint trap guard.

Wish it was more versatile
Dryer overall is great. Just wish it had a few additional features. Like more than just 30 min and 60 min timed dry and a sliding scale for automatic sensing drying. Didn't hook up the steam feature. Just one more thing to leak.

Great dryer
We bought this dryer to replace a well known brand. Just got tired of the so called quality others said they are made of. This dryer seems better built and will last a lot longer already. We paid more for this appliance, the warranty is much better and the quality seems great. I would recommend SPEED QUEEN at all that ask.

Best investment we made on appliances
These are old school hard working machines. They are tanks and keep working. We bought the washer and dryer and replaced another brands new model that was 4 years old that kept ruining our clothes and breaking down.
