Great Machine
Had my Speed Queen TC5 just about a month and a half. It is very easy to use with basic knobs and no confusing settings to select. And I already notice the big difference of this washer compared to my previous machine in how fast it cycles through the loads with cloths still coming out clean. So far, this TC5 is A+.

What a huge difference in quality and efficiency.
Our clothes come out so clean.
We definitely recommend spending the money and purchasing this great set.

Absolutely love it.
Absolutely love it! Has a Maytag (grey) which I thought was good until it didn’t last even 5 yrs. Now that I have this I can see how far superior it is compared to the Maytag. Wish it came in grey though to match my laundry room colors. It does an excellent job in all cycles! Fabulous machine😊

A real work horse
I’ve only had this washer about a month, but she’s a real work horse! The drum is smaller than my old washer (whirlpool) but the wash cycle is amazingly fast and gets our work clothes clean (we live on a ranch). I love the fixed agitator and the lack of bells and whistles - you can probably guess my age! Simple knobs and dials - no sensitive ‘sensing’ just gets the job done - fast and effectively. Now, she is loud and if that’s a deal breaker, I’m sorry about your luck. I prefer a hard worker, and I absolutely LOVE my speed queen. (And the black matte looks elegant!)

Best on the Market
Absolutely love this machine. it has cleaned our clothes much better, in a 1/4 of the time of our previous Whirlpool set. It has been a great machine so far and I love the fact that it can actually be repaired if there is ever a need rather than having to go buy a new set as all of the other brands have gone to. It is so wasteful to be forced into replacing a whole machine rather than fixing it. I love that this is a US company with such a long history building basically the same wash and dryer for decades.

You can’t afford not to buy!!!
These are the best machines I have ever owned!! They perform over and above! I have even washed my queen size bed quilt and it came out beautiful. I would never have put something that large in any of the other machines I have had over the years.

Best made washer manufactured in America.
I am biased, because my family owned a Laundromat that was all Speed Queen machines. I have a 1976 Front loader dryer in my home from the laundromat that still works great. I bought my current washer 6 weeks ago, going back to Soeed Queen because you can’t beat the quality.

Best washer I have ever owned
This is by far the best washer I have owned. If you have been using a standard high efficiency washing machine you will be absolutely grossed out the first time you wash a load of fairly soiled clothes. The first load I washed turned the water a muddy yucky color. This machine completes its entire cycle in half of the time as my previous machines. The spin cycle is amazing! Clothes dry much quicker because they are much less wet coming out of the wash. I highly recommend a Speed Queen washer! My next purchase will be a matching dryer.

Phenomenal product
We recently purchased the matte black Speed Queen TC5, and we absolutely love it. The exterior has a strong, durable metal feel — almost like a rhino liner on a pickup truck — which gives it a tough, premium look right out of the gate. And it’s not just looks — this thing is clearly built with quality in mind.
One feature we didn’t realize we’d appreciate as much as we do is the ability to add items during the first portion of the wash cycle. Coming from a front-load GE washer, that option is something you don’t think about until you have it again — and it’s incredibly convenient when you inevitably forget a sock or towel.
Another huge plus for us is that it doesn’t skimp on water usage. If you have a large load, you can use the Deep Fill option, and the soak function is excellent for tougher stains. It’s refreshing to have a washer that actually uses enough water to thoroughly clean clothes instead of trying to cut corners for the sake of efficiency ratings.
All the reviews and videos we watched really sealed the deal for us, and after nearly 60 days of use, we can confidently say it has lived up to the hype. It’s packed with robust, commercial-grade components — you can tell Speed Queen didn’t cut corners. It’s American made, and if you’re someone who likes the idea of being able to service or maintain your own appliances down the road, this machine seems very friendly in that regard.
Honestly, we wish we had made the switch sooner. We’re already looking forward to getting the matching dryer when the time comes.

WHAT A JOY TO HAVE FOUND THIS WASHER!
As a senior citizen, I remember how good our old washing machines were through the years -- simple workhorses that did their job effectively and quickly. About eight years ago, my last, old school washer finally gave up. Since then, I've owned two competitor's machines, the latter of which was a so-called "commercial" model that began it's life as brand new junk. That joke of a "commercial" washer spent 17 months under nearly constant repair, ending it's life with a faulty drain pump, following it's fifth (5th) control board replacement. Then, I learned that Speed Queen offered a phenomenal washer that could be purchased for residential use, one closely akin to the old school washers from yesteryear. I decided on the TC5, purchased it, and had it delivered the next day. This machine is INCREDIBLE! It is an old school type washing machine with a modern twist. It runs, performs, and sounds almost exactly like the old machines used to. It will fill all the way up with water, cleans the heck out of the clothes, and completes it's cycles quickly. Can't believe it! Thank you, Speed Queen, for making a REAL washing machine available to us!
