Best washer I have ever owned
This is by far the best washer I have owned. If you have been using a standard high efficiency washing machine you will be absolutely grossed out the first time you wash a load of fairly soiled clothes. The first load I washed turned the water a muddy yucky color. This machine completes its entire cycle in half of the time as my previous machines. The spin cycle is amazing! Clothes dry much quicker because they are much less wet coming out of the wash. I highly recommend a Speed Queen washer! My next purchase will be a matching dryer.

Phenomenal product
We recently purchased the matte black Speed Queen TC5, and we absolutely love it. The exterior has a strong, durable metal feel — almost like a rhino liner on a pickup truck — which gives it a tough, premium look right out of the gate. And it’s not just looks — this thing is clearly built with quality in mind.
One feature we didn’t realize we’d appreciate as much as we do is the ability to add items during the first portion of the wash cycle. Coming from a front-load GE washer, that option is something you don’t think about until you have it again — and it’s incredibly convenient when you inevitably forget a sock or towel.
Another huge plus for us is that it doesn’t skimp on water usage. If you have a large load, you can use the Deep Fill option, and the soak function is excellent for tougher stains. It’s refreshing to have a washer that actually uses enough water to thoroughly clean clothes instead of trying to cut corners for the sake of efficiency ratings.
All the reviews and videos we watched really sealed the deal for us, and after nearly 60 days of use, we can confidently say it has lived up to the hype. It’s packed with robust, commercial-grade components — you can tell Speed Queen didn’t cut corners. It’s American made, and if you’re someone who likes the idea of being able to service or maintain your own appliances down the road, this machine seems very friendly in that regard.
Honestly, we wish we had made the switch sooner. We’re already looking forward to getting the matching dryer when the time comes.

WHAT A JOY TO HAVE FOUND THIS WASHER!
As a senior citizen, I remember how good our old washing machines were through the years -- simple workhorses that did their job effectively and quickly. About eight years ago, my last, old school washer finally gave up. Since then, I've owned two competitor's machines, the latter of which was a so-called "commercial" model that began it's life as brand new junk. That joke of a "commercial" washer spent 17 months under nearly constant repair, ending it's life with a faulty drain pump, following it's fifth (5th) control board replacement. Then, I learned that Speed Queen offered a phenomenal washer that could be purchased for residential use, one closely akin to the old school washers from yesteryear. I decided on the TC5, purchased it, and had it delivered the next day. This machine is INCREDIBLE! It is an old school type washing machine with a modern twist. It runs, performs, and sounds almost exactly like the old machines used to. It will fill all the way up with water, cleans the heck out of the clothes, and completes it's cycles quickly. Can't believe it! Thank you, Speed Queen, for making a REAL washing machine available to us!

Absolutely Magical!
I had my die hard Kenmore washer for 25 years & when it finally gave up a friend recommended Speed Queen. He said worth every penny & he was SO right! I absolutely LOVE my machines! The ease, the quiet, the look of the matte black, the speed! The efficiency! The light inside the dryer! LOVE!!! Best purchase decision i ever made! And i also LOVE supporting a company that is made in the USA! Also, gotta mention, Speed Queen logo white on the black machine is fabulous! Old Skool vintage simple design fits beautifully in my 100 year old vintage style home!

Outstanding purchase!
After doing extensive research across various forums and online posts, we decided that a Speed Queen would be our next washer. My wife was initially concerned about the load size based on the specifications, but visiting a local appliance store and doing a side-by-side comparison made all the difference and helped us finalize our decision on the TC5.
We’ve had the machine for about two months now, and my wife has had nothing but great things to say about it. She loves how fast the wash cycles are, how clean the clothes come out, how quiet the machine runs, and the fact that it easily handled a king-size Korean mink blanket with no issues.
Overall, money well spent—and a great investment for a US made product.

TC5 is the best washing machine!
The TC5 is the modern washing machine from the past! I am beyond thrilled that Speed Queen has kept a system going that has worked for decades, and possibly even a century! Speed Queen offers two different washing systems, and one of them is the conventional washing system that us Gen X people remember most! The TC5 is the one with the conventional washing system, and I couldn’t be more pleased!!!! Research these washers and dryers, and you’ll find that these are in a class all to themselves, and you’ll never buy anything else but Speed Queen!

Simply the best !!
We love our speed queen washer . Pros - it’s fast , cleans extremely well, it’s simple not a bunch of crazy buttons, solid well made, will last twice as long or more than other brands.
Cons - it is pricey but you get what you pay for.
Just get one you won’t regret it.

I LOVE THIS WASHER
This is the first new washing machine we have ever bought. I had no idea what I was missing all these years! This machine is quiet, super efficient, and spins water out of clothes in record time. My years old dryer works so much faster because of this washing machine. I enjoy doing laundry so much these days that I find myself wandering the house, in search of enough stuff to make a load.
