Love This Washing Machine!
Absolutely love having an agitator back!!! The last models we had didn't have an agitator and the dirt just sat on the clean clothes while the machines drained. Now our laundry is super clean!!! And the machine handles all size loads. With three Irish Wolfhounds and an English Shepherd in our household, there is always laundry. The controls are simple and straightforward. Best purchase we ever made!

Repairmen Recommendations
Through the years, it seemed every time we had to have a washer repaired, the repairman would always recommend a Speed Queen. I never understood this, since it cut down on their business. Finally after purchasing several different very well known brands, only to have them start giving us problems early on, we decided to finally bite the bullet and invest in a Speed Queen. I love the simplicity of this model, as i didnt want or need all the “bells and whistles”. My husband and I are 75/80 years old, so I’m hoping this one will last the rest of our lives!

New Speed Queen Top Loading with Agitator
We had an older Speed Queen that was purchased by the previous owner of our home. We estimated the machine was 15 years old. Long story short, the transmission went out on it. Cost to repair would have been half of a new washer. The repair guy actually recommended Speed Queen. So we bought this one We had other brands previously that didn’t hold up. Time will tell.

It's the queen 👑 of my place 😁
I'm hoping to get 20 years out of this machine as my previous Maytag only lasted 6 years...my machine I love so far( only one month or so of ownership) because it's so quiet ( unlike previous reviews) and the start button you barely touch it and it starts...the time to wash is about a half to a third of time to clean vs. my Maytag... also my clothes are a lot cleaner vs. My Maytag...my queen 👑 let's me know she's done washing with a cute bell sound..she needs a little crown on her👑✨I love the speed queen 👑! Just hoping it lasts the 20 years ✨

Worth it
We've owned this set for 6 months and are extremely happy with it. It doesn't have all the high-tech features-and that's exactly why we love it. After two front-load washers that failed and developed that awful mildew smell, we decided to go back to basic, proven technology. This set is solid, dependable and does exactly what it's supposed to do. Sometimes simple really is better. Spend the extra money and invest in quality-it pays off.

Best Washer ever!
In the last 2 years I've had a Whirlpool that lasted 1 year and GE that lasted 6 weeks. Finally decided to quit wasting my money and bought a Speed Queen. I am in love ❤️. Best purchase ever. Sorry I waited so long.

Eat washer on the market today
This washer is the best washer we’ve had in 15 yrs. It actually fills up with water, and has an agitator and works like the good old fashioned machines, if I forget to add something to the wash, I can actually open the lid and add it. I LOVE this washer!!

I worked with Speed Queen top loaders, front loaders ,gas dryers, and Drycleaning machines from 1983 until 2008. The machines today are built just as good as the commercial ones. The laundromat machines were there when I went to work and still running when I left. Wash like a professional with the no lid lock. Gets the clothes clean and easy to wipe down and maintain. I don't use powder detergent and very little softener after it dilutes in a cup. Cold water never dissolves beef fat too good. Love my Speed Queen TC5. I've had several people buy one after pitching my washing like a pro lessons

Love My washer. Sped Queen has always been at the top of my list to get. Great reputation since forever. Im 73 and my mom had a SQ wringer washer was a good un. i recommended it to a friend of mine and they went right out and bought one

My new Washer
I previously had a washer that was highly rated and it just did not clean well but also was constantly off balance. This caused a manual invention to complete the load. It was also built with plastic not a stainless tub. I had it barely 6 years.
THIS NEW SPEED QUEEN is fabulous! it is a true work horse. It is fast efficient and easy to use. Love it!

SQ washer replaced a GE washer that didn't last 5 years! OMG, the quality of the SQ is unbelievable! How fast the water fills the tub, and how it actually fills the tub. No lid lock!!! It has an agitator. Quality, Quality, Quality!!! Best investment, ever! I love it!!! The clothes are super clean!

Does a great job and faster than many
We bought a new Maytag 1 year ago and I thought I would love it.... After using it for awhile, I had it moved to the basement and got a new Speed Queen and I love it. Only takes a little over 30 minutes to do a full load and everything comes out clean. I will now only get a Speed Queen. No comparison to other washers! After we got ours, my sister got one too!

The washing machine really cleans clothes, spins them very near to dry and does not go off balance. The machine is sturdy, easy to use, has metal parts and has the ability to actually fill the tub when needed.

Notorious Quality
Growing tired of prematurely failing and poorly constructed appliances over the past few years, we finally decided to purchase a Speed Queen washer. For the combined reason of high-quality construction and minimalism. The Speed Queen provides the absolute best of both. Installation took minutes, balancing was easy, and you can tell immediately that the washer is robust and well engineered. The price for the value is fair, especially when you recognize the long term cost avoidance by purchasing one Speed Queen over purchasing multiple low quality appliances - coupled with the frustration. Time will tell, but I get the impression this washer will be here 20 years from now.

We bought the Speed Queen to replace a 20 year old Kenmore washer because parts were no longer available. The Speed Queen was the only washer we saw built the way they used to be. It’s been working fine so far.

Finally a washer that uses water and agitates! My previous "energy efficient" washer that would only fill a 1/3 of the tub on any setting & left clothes soaking in dirty water. My whites are white again and can wash & dry a load in less than half the time of other manufacturer.

Love the simplicity of my Speed Queen Washer/Dryer
I love having the no lock washing machine and being able to throw that one more piece in the tub after I've started the wash cycle. The machine runs efficiently and after a month, I've had no issues with it.
