JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR
A quality made, simple to operate, "HEAVY DUTY" machine. W, e had bought a newer Whirlpool with all kinds of "tech innovations" that turned out to be a pain in the rear. Lid locks, computer controlled water levels, and the like. We got rid of that Whirlpool, and I noticed the drastic weight difference between the Whirlpool and the SpeedQueen when we did the swap. SpeedQueen was much heavier - a good thing if you are looking for durable heavy duty components like the transmission, drive motor, and drum. Whirlpool?..... mostly lighter weight flimsy materials and plastic. I'm now a Speed Queener for life!

Works as described: VERY WELL
It's fast and cleans well. We use it in a veterinary clinic, so there's a lot of hair, fur and filth. Everything comes out cleaner than the preacher's sheets.

My wife LOVES this washer!
When we were first married in 1966, we had a Maytag that lasted for many years. Then we owned several other washers...none of which were as good. A friend recommended a Speed Queen, and we decided to give it a try. It is a great washer and just as nice as our first Maytag. My wife loves it!

This is why I TRUST wisconsin
I have been lived in Wisconsin for multiple years and I never realized how things are built solid enough until I moved to Seattle.
Lets keep things solid and make american manufacturing standards high. With slightly more money, I want to have this better quality stuff rather than have a MAYTAG which I BOUGHT with a lot of money and have to toss due to fixing it is too expensive.

We had had enough of big box junk appliances. Our Whirlpool had pretty much disintegrated so we decided to do it right this time. 1. buy a speed Queen. 2. buy it from a actual appliance dealer who specializes in in service. Bob Millers in South Bend was the place.
They were awesome and delivered on the day we asked them to.
The TC5 was flawless and washed clothes quickly and cleanly. Easy to use, simple and effective. It’s such a wonderful feeling to know that this machine will do its job for many years. Stop the big box money sink, spend the money and do it right. You won’t regret your purchase!

Worth every dollar!
I was looking for efficiency and limited bells and whistles. Well I got just that and I’m very pleased with my purchase. I’m hoping this machine will last me a good long time. I even like that it tells you when it’s done. I thought only dryers did that!

Best ever!
We had a GE that did not seem to clean our clothes. Had many issues with it and finally decided to buy the TC5. Wish we had sone it sooner! The tank fills uo and has an agitator. Clothes are getting clean finally!

Speed queen TC5
We bought the TC5 washer about a month ago to replace our existing washer, which is about 20 years old. The washer is significantly heavier than our last one. It has fast wash cycles and will fill the drum completely up when needed. On the standard wash cycle, you can actually wash a load of clothes faster than the dryer will dry a load of clothes.Clothes come out clean and smelling great. We are still getting used to the electronic knobs and wish they had mechanical knobs/controls on it. Other than that the only other thing is It is a little bit louder than our previous washing machine, but I guess that is due to the commercial nature of this machine. Our previous washing machine when spinning the clothes would get off center and would make the washing machine get off balance, and you had to open the lid and readjust the clothes. So far with the speed queen that has not been an issue. We have not had a load of clothes, get off balance or had to stop the washer to adjust the clothes. The spin cycles are pretty quiet and the clothes come out fairly dry. This thing is built like a tank. We love this washing machine and would recommend it to anyone.

Time tested to be the Best
Ahh, it’s so nice to be back using a washing machine that works the way their supposed to! Time tested with heavy duty parts that last, and work. Speed Queen makes its competitors look like short time throw aways. If you like how long your appliances use to last, then get Speed Queen washers and dryers, American made to last.

Speed Queen Does Not Disappoint
We have had our Speed Queen machine for well over a month and we are extremely happy with our purchase! The machine handles our queen size comforter as well as large loads of my husband's work jeans with ease. The selection of settings from Heavy to delicate fit all the types of wash settings we need.
