8 Series is the Top of The Line
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 65QM850G about 2 weeks ago. This has been my third TCL I've owned and I love it. I gave my girlfriend the previous 65S525 I had it three years and before that I had a 55" Roku. They all never gave me any problems. This new 8 series is above and beyond anything I've ever seem. Keep up the good work and I'll keep buying

Even though it was a Spectrum issue and not a TCL issue, Nani identified the problem and talked me through fixing it. Thank you Nani and TCL.

Great TV
I've had my TCL for a little over a month now and I couldn't be happier with it. The picture quality is great and the sound is better than I expected. There are settings for the picture and sound to adjust automatically based on the light/sound in the room and they work really well. It's my first experience with the Google TV platform and I find it to be pretty intuitive. My dad purchased an OLED TV with a soundbar at the same time (for almost 3x the price) and while his picture/sound are a little better than mine, they're not 3x better in my opinion.

Clear amazing picture and great sound

I did connect throught the internet for set up but you can easily shut that off if you don't want to stay connected. It has all of the streaming services at the touch of a button. The remote is back lit so easy to see when watching at lower lighting and goes off when not in use so not sitting all lit up. The picture is crisp and clear great color. Sound is amazing and has several lighting and sound options for like theater mode and such. Great for gaming good recovery. It has a center stand instead of legs on the sides so can easily fit on all stands. Overall a great purchase and would highly recommend. High quality and easy set up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually purchase an LG or Samsung. Now I tried TCL Tv.TV was packaged very well and came out of the box with easy. Note this is a 2 person install for sure. Build quality is superb. TV looks beautiful and easy to adjust all the settings to fit your style. Decent enough motion and upscaling, and brighter than the sun! The TCL QM8 picture quality is amazing. + you don’t even need a sound bar it have a built-in subwoofer. The volume can get very loud without distortion and also the menu and system apps are snappy.I just set the auto settings and they work great. This 4K television has unmatched clarity; contrast, black levels, color purity, and overall performance. Love how the TV dynamically adjusts to the room lighting. Highly recommend.

This is one beautiful tv!! Mini LEDs are seriously smaller than standard LEDs. These allow for much deeper shadows, brighter highlights, and more vivid color! And your blacks are so much blacker!!! This really makes watching TV so much more enjoyable than before. Everything seems so much sharper and so much more vivid than before. The colors are amazing they just dance and jump off the screen. And when you put your TV on pause it will go through and do a slideshow of different artwork and photography and even images from Google Earth gently glide across the screen.
The remote has buttons programmed to instantly go to Netflix, prime video, YouTube, TCL TV Tech, and Apple TV. The remote fits in your hand nicely. It’s not cumbersome or awkward at all. They really put a lot of thought in the remote alone.
Gaming on this TV is amazing. This TV has really upped the gaming level. The kids absolutely love playing video games on this TV. Everything is just so much more vivid and games just come alive!
The number of apps that come up when you turn your TV on are amazing. There are what seems like endless options to choose from.
Overall this TV is perfection!! Beautiful picture at an affordable price. It’s a definite win-win with TCL!

Wife said she wanted to see if she could tell the difference with the ultra 4k.... yep huge difference, I love this TV, build in sub-woofer bilt in, easy to operate remote. Over all, I'd buy it every time.

Gorgeous and really easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm so happy with my new TCL Google TV. It has been a huge upgrade from our old TV. The picture is simply gorgeous. The 4K QLED resolution really is crisp and sharp. I also really love the Google OS on the TV. It's got all the modern apps you need.
On top of that, it's got great sound as well. I'm normally a sound snob and refuse to use the onboard speakers but this TV actually spent time trying to make the onboard sound decent. It's even got some Ultra-Bass system that appears to be a tiny sub woofer built into the back. It's not like it thumps, but it adds just enough low end to the sound that makes it sound really full.
Finally, I have to hand it to them when it comes to their remote. There's one simple feature that makes it my favorite remote. It senses when you lift the remote and automatically lights up all the buttons. Perfect for when your watching late and night and don't want to turn on a light to see what you're pressing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tv is awesome. I love how big it is. Makes video game playing very nice. Color is great and I am able to get all my streaming apps. It will even keep the show you are on for a resume list. It will automatically switch to HDMI 1 when I turn on my Playstation so that's one step I don't have to worry about. My 1 issues would be some times the remote will think I said ok Google and try to look up whatever I'm saying. There is probably a way to stop it but I haven't looked. It's fine normally but sucks when in the middle of a Battle Royal.

TCL is Here To Stay
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TCL QM850 Mini-LED QLED is a fine TV. This is the first TCL product that I have owned. It was easy to set up and had great performance right out of the box. The design aesthetic isn’t exactly amazing, but considering the brand, the picture and sound quality are impressive.
The screen has vibrant colors with deep blacks and good contrast. On a completely black screen, the color is consistent across the entire screen, including the corners. It is very bright, and I have no trouble seeing the screen even in a room filled with sunlight. However, when viewing from an angle greater than 45 degrees, the screen can become a bit washed out.
There are different preset picture options like standard and movie, as well as advanced settings such as Adaptive Brightness. Personally, I always turn off these options as they don't give me the consistent picture I prefer.
The TV uses the Google platform, and during setup, you can ignore signing in, but I found that some app options didn't work until I signed into my account. So, be prepared to use or create a Google account to get the most out of this TV. Browsing through the menu/interface and the apps is very similar to my other TVs, all Samsung. I especially like the remote, which is cleanly backlit. The kids love the “Netflix” button.
Overall, I would recommend this TV to anyone unsure of whether TCL is a decent brand.

The picture quality is excellent, with 4K UHD resolution, HDR 10, and Dolby Vision compatibility, providing some of the best visuals available. The sound quality is also good, with a 20W speaker system that offers a sub woofer and both virtual surround sound and Dolby Atmos compatibility. The Google-based operating system is straightforward and easy to use, it allows users to access a variety of streaming apps and services, including Netflix, Hulu, and YouTube. The Google Assistant is also available, providing voice control for many of the functions. I would definitely recommend to friends and would buy from this brand again.

We Love This TV!

When watching sports and movies, it feels like you are part of the action! We also love the integrated Google TV features and the hands-free voice control remote. Lastly, the sound is surprisingly good!! I would have expected to need additional audio components to get sound that’s this good, but the sound from the built-in speakers has really rich quality and even good bass. Overall, we are extremely satisfied and happy with this TV!

Beautiful Picture

I love that the darker colors can be super dark while other parts are so bright. The picture quality is just unbelievable. The TV itself is stunning. I originally set it up with the stand, but have since hung it up. It is truly flat and hangs snug to the wall. The Google TV interface is easy to use and very quick. No need to add a separate device to get the apps you want. My son set up his gaming console to it and it works great! This may seem like a small detail, but I really like the remote for the TV. It is long and slender with a great layout. Plus it lights up when you pick it up...an awesome detail!! I'm so happy and impressed with this TCL TV. It is such a great high-end TV at a modest price point. I would highly recommend!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was such an easy television to install and program. I have Google technology in my home, so to add a Google television only made sense really. From start to finish, it was really easy to watch TV in just minutes. It took longer to put in all my app passwords than it did to actually program the television. It has insanely crisp images. My only suggestion is to have someone help you put it on the mount for less work. The pixels are almost non-existent it is so clear. The remote has the speak option, so you can easily search for your shows. This has a learning curve if you aren't tech savvy, but for those with smartphones, it will be easy to setup.
