A Great TV

Awesome results
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just finished setup, awesome in every way. Have all components in other room was using a Harmony setup. Now with new remote no longer need. Have 5.1 surround sound and everything runs thru the receiver. Getting everything dialed in and couldn't be happier. This set does compete well with the OLEDs.

Best TV for the money
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best TV on the planet, for the money.. It pairs well with a gaming console, and looks amazing watching NFL Sunday ticket.. much brighter than my Sony A80L, Even though on paper, the Sony is better

Phenomenal TV!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m loving my 75 in qm8k. Coming from a 65 lgcx I am not disappointed! I also have a question. I would love to calibrate this tv so it matches my laptop screen for photo purposes. Does this tv accept 3d luts? And what programs can I use to calibrate it?

Greta picture poor sound quality

My 20 year old Polk sound bar is better quality.

Superb Picture, But Audio Leveling Needs Tweaking
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been looking forward to this TV for months, and overall, I’m extremely happy with it. The picture quality is stunning, and it truly delivers a premium experience. The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is because of the volume leveling. Compared to my previous TCL QM8 (same size), the sound on this model seems much quieter. I now have to raise the volume to around 45–60 just to hear dialogue clearly, whereas the QM8 was noticeably louder even at 11–20. I’m not sure if this is a bug or just how the QM8K is designed, but it’s something to be aware of. Aside from that, this is a fantastic TV, and I’m still very pleased with the purchase.

Not bright, and not worth it.
Disappointing, to say the least. Touted for its brightness this “flagship” model does not live up to the hype. In fact, brightness is nonexistent. SDR brightness is so so, HDR brightness is absolutely terrible, no matter what picture mode you choose. In HDR the picture is also washed out and dull. Extremely disappointed especially considering the price. Reached out to PC Richard the day after I received it requesting to return and exchange for a different model but was they do not accept returns on TVs over 55”. Have reached out to TCL directly and they say this is just how this TV is. I’ve owned many TVs over the last few years, this is my first mini QLED, and this is also the worst one I’ve ever owned. I have 10 year old TVs that are brighter than this QM8K.
