I have used it twice since purchasing it. First time was the thanksgiving turkey, came out great. Next time was chicken thighs, great flavor and juicy. I had the Silverton model before this, I do miss all the under storage that was on that model.
Overall, very happy with my purchase.

No contest!
Word on the street is that the ironwood line is traegers strongest performing cooking platform. After owning an older model the ironwood checks off many things that are extremely practical. All I can see is well done!

Welcome to the "Dark Side"
First time going to the dark side (pellet grill). Always been a traditional/lump charcoal ceramic grill guy....a real bbq snob. After years of warranty issues on 2 different ceramic GD grills and the company ghosting me, I decided to try the Traeger. At first I was a little put off by just the "mechanacian" , but now, my wife and I have been very impressed with the results, and the ease of use. The interface with setting up grill temps, food temps, the app itself etc have been very user friendly. We felt like pro's with the new tech right out of the gate. Very happy with everything so far.

Smoking’ 650
I have owned my Ironwood 650 for a couple of years now and am very happy with it. I have previously owned a Little Texas and a Pro22 but upgraded because of the direct drive motor and the Wi-Fi capability. This thing is rock solid and produces excellent results. Love being able to monitor the temperature and pellet level from my phone. Also the 4 wheel design makes it a breeze to move in and out of my garage.

Excellent Ironwood
Just recently received my ironwood 650. First time ever smoked a rack of beef ribs and they turned out perfect! Today will smoke a meatloaf. Very pleased with the ironwood!

The smoker works so well. The app really makes it easy to control the smoker when you’re not close by. Nice even smoke on ribs with a well defined smoke line. So much better than an electric smoker I use to have.

Huge upgrade
Lots to like about this grill. I had a small electric smoker and a large weber smokey mountain, but with kids I no longer had the time to monitor coals. Went with the Ironwood as a few friends recommended.
1. Easy to use and clean; heats up quick.
2. The app is excellent. Lots of tutorials, recipes and the remote operation is a game changer.

Awesome Unit!
I'm new to the smoker game so I asked around and was led to the Ironwood 650. This unit is extremely well built and the assembly was easy.
So far I am really impressed with the ease of operation and Im having a blast learning tricks of the trade through the Traeger community.
I have only done a couple smokes so far but it is awesome. I will enjoy this for years to come.

Had the ironwood 650 for about 3 weeks now. Extremely happy with this purchase! Everything tastes better. It makes grilling so easy. I thought it would take longer to heat up but It seems like it takes the same amount of time as our old weber gas grill. Also nothing burns, food cooks evenly. Hamburgers have definitely reached a new level, They don’t shrivel up and look like meatballs like my gas grill used to do. Vegetables on the grill taste amazing! I would definitely recommend this grill. Phenomenal!!! The ironwood 650 takes grilling to the next level!

Father of 2 Small Kids Approved
My previous smoker was a charcoal smoker which served its purpose. However, as a father of 2 little ones, the ability to “set and forget” and monitor the cook while completing other tasks was something I couldn’t pass up. The quality of smoke and performance surpassed all expectations. From cooking brisket to steaks, the Ironwood does it all. If you’re thinking of making the transition to a Traeger, you won’t be disappointed.

Best purchase I’ve made in a long time.
I wasn’t quite sure to expect but after moving to a new home and not wanting to deal with propane anymore I thought I’d give this a try. I am super impressed - the control and cooking quality is simply amazing, and the app is fantastic.

Worth The Investment!!!
A couple of my boys had one, and told me it was worth the price especially how much I grill and smoke. That being said they did not exaggerate, I think I’ve smoked more food than I have in life since I’ve gotten this!

Rainbows and Unicorns
Life is better, I’m happier, even my ex wife loves me, and unicorns and rainbows dance on my patio since I bought my Traeger 650, it’s that good.
The simplicity of operation is guilt inducing, given the excellent results. Best chickens you’ll ever taste. I like the solid build, semi insulated walls and lid seals (a must in the Midwest), and clear easy to use app. I also found the 650 plenty big, as I’m not a party thrower.
I would offer one suggestion. The power cord plugs in vertically under the hopper assembly, and tends to fall out easily if bumped, pulled, or unit is moved, due to gravity. Maybe some kind of clip, or side plug in. Figured Traeger designed it that way for rain.

How did I make it 55 years without a smoker? This Traeger is excellent. Everything comes out perfectly with a great flavor. Recipes are great and easy to follow. I love that I can monitor everything right from the app.

Great Smoker
This overall is a great smoker. I’ve owned this grill for a little over 6 years now and have used it a ton. For what it is, it is great. It holds the temperature real well and has held up through the years as expected. Using it is simple and pretty close to set it and forget it. I’ve replaced the controller, igniter and fan once. These typically will wear out and I think the burn pot will be the next to go. Granted I’ve stored this grill outdoors and rarely have stored it with the cover on. So I’m sure that has taken its toll on the grill. The grill puts out good smoke but not great. It’s not a stick burner so don’t expect stick burner quality food. If you want more smoke you’ll likely need to pay a lot more. I’m in the process of buying a more competition style pellet grill but the price is almost double. I’ve been happy overall and if this is your first starter smoker, you’ll be happy overall. It’s not the best but like what I said, it’s great for what it is.

Great all around grill and smoker!
Have had my Ironwood 650 for about a year. Have had no problems with it. Works great and food comes out good every time. Love the super smoke feature. This is my second Traeger. Upgraded from a smaller one and plan to be in the Traeger family for a long time. My Traeger rep is great! We love it!

Service is above and beyond!!
I purchased a BBQ075 more than 13 years ago and every time I have a problem Traeger stands behind it. My control unit broke a month ago and Treager sent me a control unit that is compatible for the 075, but the opening on the 075 is just a little too small to receive the new unit. Traeger is sending me a new hopper that will be able to mount the new controller, free of charge. They always go above and beyond.
