I'm very pleaseed there is not a garbage disposal attached to this one, like so many other built in dishwashers seem to have these days. (water waste and one more thing to break and not good for the environment as now all that food waste goes into the sewer system and has to be processed) I'm on rain water catchment and need to save as much water as I can. This dishwasher uses about 4-5 gals of water for the complete cycle from wash to rinse, and the dishes come out sparkling! I use septic friendly detergents and I love the results. I enjoy the extra "counter space" the top provides. The one hour cycle cleans excellently!
