My older ones worked for 6 years only and they never gave me trouble and they had real buttons but after a flood they weren't working on their best so i risk it and did a huge upgrade. I love my laundry room i don't need to bend to get my clothes anymore i have them on the pedestal . My cat got intimidated with the machines he stops and starts starring a little afraid poor guy my olders ones were so loud while working and know we have these beautiful monsters that are making a diferent sound kkk .They are super silent ,and big ,i was not aware of all the feature to dry I bought them online so a litttle blind shopping but honestly if i. had seen them i might refuse saying they were to fancy for my basement.I was shocked that the steam program saved me an ironing turn. I am still exploring but i can say only good things about it.I love them .

Rated 4 out of 5 by Impatient from If You Have Lots of Time to Start Your Dryer [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first most annoying thing is that once you’ve pressed the many buttons to get this dryer set the way you want, you can’t just press Start and walk away. When you press the start button, you must hold it while the controller counts down from three. I’m an impatient person and I want to get on to the next thing, not wait around for my dryer to process a button push! To set the dryer for a load of colors, you might press Power, and Regular and Normal comes up. (BUT the Temp, Dryness and Wrinkle Shield will be set to your last load, not a Regular and Normal setting!). Then you must check & set Temp, Dryness, and Wrinkle Shield (which if not off, will steam your Clothes!) And, of course, check and clean the filter. Then you press & hold the dreaded Start button. To figure out how to put my damp clothes on Air dry, I called Product Support twice. The first rep gave me an incorrect answer (2 dots on temp means Air Dry); the second rep concluded my model does not do air dry only – also an incorrect answer. I finally stumbled on the answer myself – Timed Dry allows you to move the Temp to Air and also turn off Wrinkle Shield so you won’t add steam. Also, I find the lowest Dry setting is too close to dry. No ability to control the Beep Volume. I have never heard the Beep tell me the load is done: the sound is too low. I am more likely to hear when the machine stops humming! Once I get this Dryer going, it seems to work ok. But you have to have lots of time and patience to carefully start your dryer every time you use it. And don’t rely on Product Support. They’re just reading the same Quick Start Guide you have without the benefit of the actual buttons to press.

The dryer shuts off long before things are dry. I make sure not to use the woke baloney environmental garbage and the only way to get things fully dry is to set the time manually. FYI: if you have to keep drying longer and repeat drying to get things dry you use more energy not less.

The reason for only 3 stars is that we end up with a small puddle of water under the front of it anytime we use the steam cycle. If you only have a few pieces of clothing in it, water accumulates on the inside of the dryer door and drips down the outside face of the dryer onto the floor. I think the door needs a better seal...At least I can use the dryer to dry out the towel used to clean up the leak after steaming something!

Repaired twice already for same issue that began within about a month of owning (I actually purchased both the washer & matching dryer together & thankfully took out a full warranty on both units). So my issue with the unit is this, you set the timer & it shuts off within a minute and plays the cycle done melody sound. It does not matter if it is a light OR full load. Our control panel was replaced (took 3 months for the company's repair people to be available) & second time it took 2 months for repair people to be available. Of course, this does not include the wait time on the part & the rescheduling for the part to be put in. Great times when you spend a couple grand on what was supposed to be a upgrade from cheap open top models. I'd take my old ones any day over these units.
