Great Design/Quiet Function

Works as designed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wanted a basic dry to dry clothes and this is it. Takes about 50 minutes for a load of towels. Door doubles as a shelf which is useful and lint screen is large. Didn’t want WiFi, sensors or electric buttons that are difficult to fix. (Pro tip - hired a company to clean out my dryer vent because the installers noted new dryer wasn’t pushing as much warm air out the exterior house vent as it should have)

effective silent efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was recommended whirlpool or Maytag by a repairman as parts are easier and less costly to repair. He also said to get one where the lint trap is on the top. I haven’t had it long but it works great and when the time comes for repairs I know it will be less costly to repair.

Whirlpool top loader w/ auto dry
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 2nd Whirlpool dryer and it’s made just as sturdy as my old one. Other brands seem flimsy and don’t last as long. I’ll continue to stick with Whirlpool for my washer and dryer in the future.

So simple. Dries great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this because it had simple knobs (fewer electronics to malfunction) and the heating element can be accessed by removing the back panel. My last dryer lasted 8 years, but we had to replace the heating element, fuses, and thermostat multiple times. By the end, we determined that the electronics were the culprit for blowing so many of the heating parts. My old dryer matched my front-load washer; therefore, it was very difficult to access those parts. I was nervous that I would hate it simply because it didn't match my Samsung front loader. It doesn't bother me at all, and I love that it's so simple to use. I hope that it lasts longer due to fewer electronics going bad. I also went back and forth on the hamper-style door. I'm now happy with the hamper door. My clothes don't fall on the floor when taking them out of the dryer.

A great Simple dryer that does all the basics.

The sensor drying is working as expected. Have used the timed drying but not the other options. Hope that continues to work like this for a long time.
