I had a previous model of "over the range" microwave that finally shorted out because of steam from the range below. This newer model fittd exactly and used the same mounting bracket so installing it was a sinch!

Can this unit be mounted into the ceiling of the kitchen above the range ? Apartment has low ceilings . There will be no cabinets above the microwave .

I can’t see why not as long as the ceilings are low enough to reach and use the microwave.

Does this microwave have a vent
