The control pad options are more intuitive and easy to use. Hopefully this until will prove to be as reliable as the one it replaced.

The functions of this were identical to the old unit, and we love the dinner plate and sensor cook function in a microwave. It has done admirably in operating. Aesthetically it could have a less “in your face” display. The harsh blue LED displays (on everything nowadays) is not as friendly as the green LEDs of yesteryear. That was my only criticism.
