Whirlpool Freestanding Ranges

Many of the Whirlpool freestanding ranges we carry come with an assortment of nifty features. The SpeedHeat burner is available on most Whirlpool freestanding ranges. This powerful burner has 16,000 BTUs of output, so it's ideal for high-heat cooking. You can use it to boil water rapidly, and it is very helpful for searing. Some models also feature an oval burner. It's located in the center of the cooktop, and it works with cookware that's larger or longer than normal. The shape of the burner helps it heat larger pans and longer dishes evenly, and it's particularly useful if you're cooking for parties or crowds. With a hinged design, the EZ-2-Lift grates on select models make cleaning easy. If something spills on the cooktop, you can lift the grate halfway up to clean the area underneath. For larger spills and heavier cleaning, the grates can be completely removed, and it's safe to wash them in the dishwasher. Many models also include convection baking, traditional baking, broiling, air-frying, and Frozen Bake options in their ovens. Convection baking can cook your meals approximately 25% more quickly than traditional baking cycles. With the air-frying feature, you won't need to use a separate device, and a dishwasher-safe basket is provided for easy cleanup. The Frozen Bake option allows you to skip preheating, and it features preprogrammed settings to help you cook frozen pizzas and other frozen meals as efficiently as possible. With the adjustable self-cleaning cycle that comes with some models, you can select the cleaning power that's right for your oven. If your oven is lightly soiled, you may want to choose the low option for the self-cleaning cycle. The high setting is best if your oven is heavily soiled. As an added benefit, some models include SteamClean options.
