Overall performance and style
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the 1st Whirlpool appliance I have owned. I am very satisfied with the set up and performance of this refrigerator. The only thing I was disappointed in was that there was no light in the freezer section. Other than that, I am very pleased.

Model Choice

Having switched to Whirlpool only after being disappointed in my previous brand, was a wise decision! It just fit in the amount of space I needed in our 1966-built home so that was a relief. I am SO PLEASED!!

The fridge and freezer from
So quiet!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the fridge SIGNIFICANTLY more than I ever expected to! It’s super quiet, it has very even cooling, it has beautiful lighting on the inside. The only thing I don’t like about it is the door of the fridge is so cheap! It dents and scratches easy & even the Whirlpool tag on the front is hanging off (right from the get go). Not sure why they’d make such a nice fridge with such a cheap door?! Otherwise, we love it! Oh and buyer beware, if you order an ice maker with it, don’t bother! They are baby ice cubes that take forever to freeze.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My only complaint is that the bottom drawers of the refrigerator are not flush with the glass shelf above it and stick out further...thereby making it impossible for any tall bottles to be placed in the bottom rack of the refrigerator door, because the door will not close tightly and pops open.

Great Top Freezer Model
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When our beloved kitchen Aid Refrigerator died, it was a challenge to find another to replace it. We like our top mount freezer option. After reading about features, many reviews, and finding a great deal, we bought a Whirlpool. It cools beautifully, The inerds are all clear and see through. There's great storage in the door, and it has pocketed handles, to keep smears off the front. The only downside (sort of) was having to install an ice machine, (which is noisy while operating) and the freezer doesn't have a light, which is annoying. All in All, we would totally buy this again.

New Whirlpool Refrigerator
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our existing Whirlpool refrigerator was aging out and was not reliable after many years of service. The new unit was very close in size to the old unit and now we have it operating and are very satisfied with its capability. It is large enough and keeps the freezer and refrigerator areas as we need them.Settings as recommended in the user information.

Basic and fine with me

Everything it says plus more!

Whirlpool 33 in 21.3 cu ft. Top Freezer Refrigerat
This refrigerator replaced a 23 year old Maytag Side by side. It has more than enough capacity and runs well. Sometimes it makes a high pitched noise that the other one never did. I'm assuming that's OK.
I have one regret with this purchase. The refrigerator portion is too low. To see everything in that area I have to get a chair and sit down. So, now all food items I will rarely need to use are on the top shelf which I cannot see when standing in front of the fridge. I might have been better off with a French door bottom freezer instead.

no freezer light, overall alright
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we replaced a 32 yr old fridge, so nothing will be that sturdy again, we are finding. We bought this fridge to replace the new maytag we bought in July and returned when this one was delivered. This is quieter, cools well, drawers function and lighting is good in the refrigerator portion, but there is no light in the freezer which is very disappointing at this price point.

Pretty good so far
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's difficult to anticipate the longevity since we have had it for only a few weeks. It definitely cools well. It keeps temperatures in recommended range both on the fridge and the freezer sections. I'm hoping I will adapt to the temperature controller system which I find vague. it has only 4 levels of cooling from which I found the first 2 useless. So let's see how it works if those 2 remaining settings will be enough to pinpoint the temperature needed when the appliance gets older. I also find the height of the refrigerator section could be higher while keeping the overall height the same. It's uncomfortable to reach out to items you put behind. I would rather sacrifice a little room in the freezer in order to make refrigerator more comfortable. It's advertised with 3 smaller shelves in the door but actually only brings 2.

The only complaint that I would have is that there are no leveling feet. So we had to get door stops to keep refrigerator from Rolling out when you opened doors.

Already Having A Issue

Nice and Cool
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old refrigerator was not making ice and was not keeping my food cold . My new Whirlpool refrigerator has a lot more room in the freezer area, and all my food is kept nice and cool. I also have enough ice to make as many margaritas as I would like.

Poor design and function
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The glass shelves have very limited selection for spacing and are full length side to side, rather than being split in the middle which allows for wider and more maneuverability. The movable “cheese” drawer is too shallow and thus has limited storage space. The temperature control settings are rudimentary, with only 3 choices, rather than digital allowing for precise temperature settings. The gaskets around mine had multiple big gaps, allowing warm air to be drawn into the refrigerator and freezer. This created the immense build-up of moisture within the unit - so much so that water was dripping off the entire ceiling and back of the refrigerator and the build-up of ice crystals around the edges of the freezer. Due to this issue, my refrigerator was only cooling to 54 degrees and my freezer was only 36 degrees. I had to have a repairman come out to repair the gaskets so that they made a tight seal.

Stainless Refrigerator
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't like the electonic temperature control. Dials are more precise and visible.
This refrigerator has 2 full, glass shelves which are nice, but 4 split shelves would be more accomdating to various sized items.
The Deli drawer doesn't hold very much - it should be twice its size. It is nice that it slides for placement.
The top freezer compartment needs more positions for shelf placement.
The butter compartment in the door doesn't accomodate a larger container and most often hangs up when trying to open.
