Simple, elegant just works
I had many other bottles some cheaper some cost the same but YETI nailed the essentials, by not overcomplicating the lid design just a screw on type. its tough as nails as you would expect and will last a long time. I also got the optional straw lid and for the go and sip its great addition. you can put the lid and bottle in the dishwasher and sanitize it a big plus since other manufacturers bottle lids will just melt. It does keep ice water cool for a long time I found ice cubes un-molten after 16 hours but that varies based on ambient temperature and amount of ice put in.

Best bottle, but cap could be improved
This bottle is awesome. I have collected a number of metal bottles over the years but the Yeti with its chug cap is the best so far, in my opinion. I just wish the double layer lid had counter screws for securing to the bottle and removing the cap to sip. It would make it a bit easier to refill instead of removing both pieces one at a time, most for the time.

Reliable Water Bottle (with some discoloration)
I'm an equestrian, and I *love* my Yeti water bottles. They are so durable and easy to clean. I recently ordered a new one in "black forest green." The color is fantastic! Like all my other Yetis, I put it in the dishwasher as soon as it arrived. Unfortunately, it came out with some discolored spots. I'm going to cover the discolorations with stickers, but I was surprised because none of my other Yeti water bottles have had this issue after going through the dishwasher.
