Why did I wait so long to purchase this
It has surpassed my expectations so far. Not only for water but to keep it full of ice without melting quickly. The magnetic top was a great surprise.

Amazing!
I’m a UPS driver and I bought this for the nasty summer heat and I’m blown away by how this jug keeps the water ice cold for pretty much my entire 9+ hour shift after sitting in the back of the truck all day, which is typically 10-20 degrees hotter than whatever it is outside. Another reason why I love Yeti products!

This jug stayed cold for almost 3 days!
This jug cam in really handy when I had several clients on my boat recently that drank a ton of water (98 degrees with no wind) and ran out. I have this as a backup for my normal stock. To say that they were grateful is an understatement. This is definitely worth the investment and most importantly represents the same quality product that Yeti has become known for. Highly recommended.

I work in the desert so I easily go through one gallon of water and this is an excellent product it keeps the water inside ice cold while it's over 115° on the outside also the hospital I work for recently installed chilled water coolers in which this product fits nicely so I can refill it

All day (and then some) ice water!!
My husband has a pool business and works out in the sun all day. This jug is amazing because every night when I clean the jug the water is still super cold because the ice has not melted--even after an all day sun beating!

Durable and functional
Incredibly durable with soft padded bottom. Easily disassembled to clean components and of course dishwasher safe!!! Most importantly it’s a size not easy to find for camping, hiking, or just a picnic.

Great for roadtrips!
An absolute beast and perfect for long roadtrips and outdoor events. There are a to of well thought out design features including the magnetized cap, and cushioned bottom. I can't say enough great things about this product.

Best Jug on the Market
Had it out in the Florida summer heat for 5 hours direct sun and it was still ice cold that night, metal on the outside was as hot as a car body in the same conditions just to provide some more imagery. Magnetic cap is awesome, texture on the grip is a nice touch, and the handle doesn’t rattle; very high quality and worth the price. It’s heavy so we often use as a refill station on our smaller bottles when we’re out all day, but I find myself carrying it everywhere when I’m solo regardless.

The Best Water Bottle
I purchased the gallon Yeti bottle and it simply the best water bottle of all time. I had a few throughout my life and Yeti is simply a well made bottle that keeps the water cool throughout the day. It is easy to clean and its well made. I pulled the trigger and bought it. I am glad i did. I highly recommend buying one.

How much I love my yeti
I am a resident living in Honolulu Hawaii and not always have cars due to the cost of living we are forced to go and catch bus or walk and if we didn’t have water on us this includes going to the gym going to the park going on family functions parties I normally take my flask everywhere I go I used to buy either Hydro flask for a generic hydro flask and something just led me to go and try the yeti flask at first I did the 64 ounce I would always run out of water so I wanted to look for the next thing bigger when I was able to get It technically I wasn’t able to buy it but there was a card or credit that I was able to use which was Afrim and you folks were one of the allowing eligible folks that take Efron and I took the chance to try and buy myself the 1 gallon yeti flask and I’ve never been more happier all I wanted to design my flask with something or if there was a chance to send you a picture of a design or word sewing and software I was trying to have a designed I am also not a professional but I do draw and I do write poetry I meant into anime and what not and I tend to put things on my flash most of all I do love putting scriptures on flask as well to show my love for Jesus Christ , but I wanted to thank you folks for the creativity and ingenuity that went into this yeti sometimes I need to watch how much ice I put in it because sometimes it’s like it gets more cold than it’s ever does and it’s harder to drink the water so you have to balance your cold with the water not that there’s anything wrong with it it’s just balance that’s all but thank you for The creativity and the Ingenuity that went into this flask

Solid
The cap seals well, the materials feel high quality, and the spout has a controlled flow that's easy to drink out of. I use it to have a single easy container such that if I drink it, I've hydrated at a healthy level that day.

The King of Water Containers for Outdoor Use!
I work in construction and this is the ultimate water container for outdoor work but I would say it's overkill if you're using it for indoor use. It's overbuilt for durability so there are better options if you work in an office.
It's not the cheapest option but will probably last forever. I'm very happy with all my Yeti water containers.

I like it!
After using another branded jug with 1/2 gallon capacity for years I'm happy to have found this Yeti 1 gallon behemoth!
Working construction, especially in the summer, requires lots of fluids. I pair this with a Yeti 20oz. tumbler. In the morning I fill my 20oz. tumbler with coffee and the 1 gallon jug with ice water. After the coffee is gone I refill with ice water throughout the day. It's unreal how convenient it is to be able to snap the magnetic cap on top of the 1 gallon lid, then slide the mag slider open to pour water into the 20oz. tumbler. Never having to remove a cap and set it down on a dirty surface with dirty gloves or dirty hands is amazing.
A friend of mine bought a similar jug for half the price, but it chugs when he drinks out of it and the Yeti doesn't. You be the judge if the price is worth it, but for me it's worth every penny.
A small but very welcome touch is the rubber ring on the bottom of the jug. It keeps it quiet when setting down (important when the rest of the household is still asleep) and also keeps it from sliding or scratching the surface it's sitting on.
Lastly, the very large carry handle helps keep the jug from rolling off a car seat when laying on it's side, makes carrying the rather hefty jug a breeze, and since it's attached to the fill cap makes removing and filling easier.
Highly recommended!

Outstanding hydration solution
Bought this almost 2 years ago and still use it daily. Keeps water cold for days. Even keeps water cold in desert heat all day. Magnetic cap holder keeps the cap from getting lost. In a pinch could be used for self defense. Would absolutely recommend.

Perfect, but... read this first!
This jug is a work of art. Rugged, good looking, and functional. However, Yeti, in a move that can only be described as "mystifying," discontinued the jug holder for the one-gallon jug. So, you can no longer mount the holder as before, leaving this thing to roll around in the back of your side-by-side or vehicle.
