We then left it in our car, in the sun, for 2.5 more days while we went backpacking. Hiking back, we were dreaming of the ice cold drinks and beer that we hoped would await us. We were happy to find that not only were our post-trail goodies still cold, but there was still about 15% ice to 85% water inside. Very pleased with this performance!

I’ve added Yeti ice and the baskets to my setup and it keeps the ice cold for the whole weekend and keeps my sandwiches dry in the basket. I am thinking about outfittting the top with a seat cushion since it’s the perfect size for sitting. Very much enjoy this cooler. Worth the money. Also, be sure to pre cool your cooler for optimal performance.

I had an issue with one of the latches on the front, but Yeti replaced the part for free and sent me an extra as well. Great customer service!
