GREAT cooler
AMAZING cooler……kept ice “ICEY” for a LONG time. Used it at a party as a self contained drink station…the seperate tray was excellent to hold extras. The wheels are sturdy and feel like they will last.

This thing is incredible!
Bought this specifically to haul frozen meat from Oregon to Colorado. $$$ meat. Loaded it on Tuesday PM, with 4 small blue-ice packs on top. Sat in the back of my truck for about 900 miles of that journey. Opened Saturday PM in Colorado…and everything was STILL rock hard. Impressed, I am.

Best cooler
Great portable cooler with abundant room for food, drinks, beer and wine. Has removable shelf and optional divider that make access to food and beverages extremely easy. Cooler keeps contents cool for extended period of time - days in fact.

Nice but bigger than expected
I want to start off saying I like this cooler but it is not the perfect cooler for us. We debated about sending it back, but I like it enough we are keeping it (more in a bit). In pictures it looks a lot smaller even taking a measuring tape it seemed to be the right size. I should have went to look at one in the store. It will not fit in a 2022 Honda Accord or like size car so this will only be used with our SUV. If they made one like this in a 30-35 qt size I would buy it.
I gave it 5 stars because its size was my fault and I cannot take away from that. While its size is a negative for our intended use it fills another need for us. The build quality is amazing and it keeps ice for an incredible amount of time. I prechilled it and put 25 lbs of ice in it. We then took it on trip day 4 there about 60-75% of the ice left. It was outside some but mainly stored in a house at 73 degrees so this helped. I left the lid open to see how long it would take the ice to melt and it took it 3 more days. While I am sure outside in 90 degree temps would speed up ice melt some I find it will suit my needs and then some. This cooler in a smaller 30-35qt would be our perfect cooler. I did not want the 24qt as I have back and shoulder issues and once they are loaded it is more than I want to carry around.

Where have you been all my life!
First i admit I'm a Yeti fan, lots of Yeti products and coolers, to me anyway. This is my 6th Yeti cooler. I have and love my Tundra haul which is why I went with the Rodie 48. I wanted something between the tundra haul and Rodie 24 and felt the Rodie 48 was the perfect fit. And let me tell you it is! The quality is top notch which is what you'd expect from this price point. I was worried the handle wouldn't be rugged enough as the Tundra haul is but no issues. My only suggestion would be the abilty to change the wheels for the times I bring to the beach. Having an option for sand tires would be ideal. Id definitely buy again and no regrets with this purchase.

This thing is worth every penny (and then some)!
Amazing cooler! Took it to the beach for our annual beach vacation and it held up! We wheeled the cooler from our beach house rental to beach everyday (1 mile each way) and it couldn't have been easier. It was a bit tougher to wheel it through the sand to our sunning spot but considering that the cooler was packed, it wasn't a problem at all. It kept our drinks and food (freshly cut fruit, veggies, sandwiches, etc.) cool and fresh all day and the leftover drinks were still cold the next day. Had to refill the ice 3 times during out week long vacation. This thing is worth every penny (and then some)!

Yeti Roadie 48 - worth the BIG bucks?
First, we have a lot of Yeti products, and we have been investing into Yeti well over a decade. Yeti products simply work as designed. So, when I recently needed to upgrade my Yeti 65, based on our needs e.g., how we use the cooler, to an easier product to load/manage and go, it was easy to pick the Roadie 48 wheeled cooler. It’s another GOOD product by Yeti and the design is outstanding. I do wish it was an inch shorter just because the hard retractable tonneau cover over my truck bed (F-150) makes ever so slight contact when closing the cover but that’s easily overcome by simply laying the 48 on it’s back during transport or placing in a location other than the truck bed. I compared the Roadie 48 primarily to the Dometic electric cooler which is another really good product but our use simply couldn’t optimize the investment into an electric option (plus a Yeti never fails to operate and or use ranges under 72 hours which the Yeti achieves in keeping everything cool/fresh). Truth is, the Roadie 48 is so good in design e.g., capacity, quality, ease of use achieved in being wheeled, etc., that it was an easy decision. It’s our best Yeti cooler to date. Worth the BIG bucks? Yes, we believe it is, and not because we’re hoping to justify why (LOL) “we” spent the cooler BIG bucks but because it’s really a great product e.g., no regrets. By the way, love the Yeti drink cup, dry storage and internal divider accessories for the 48; they immediately enhanced use of the cooler. Thanks, Team Yeti - keep innovating!

Easy roller
I bought this cooler this month. (May) 2023 have used it for the last three weeks. We got the Rescue Red. Love the handle and how easy it rolls. We are a Hot Dog street food vendor. It keeps our drinks cold the ice last more than two days of vending.

As sturdy as I've come to expect out of a yeti cooler. In the past have had to worry about wheels becoming unusable on cheaper coolers but this one seems to be holding up well. Will update if anything goes haywire.

Amazing Coolers!
I absolutely love the quality of your coolers and the accessories are great! I am also a sucker for all the cute colors...especially orange and turquoise! My only suggestion is that I would like to have a smaller 24 quart wheeled cooler. Your 24 quart is too heavy for me to carry when full, so I need some wheels to manage it.

Yeti hits a home run with this model
The perfect size to fit in the back of a pickup bed. Keeps drinks cold. Holds ice 3 or four times longer than my old Yeti Roadie 20.
The wheels are way more robust in person than they look online.
I like the basket. This works well with the divider and 4 large and 2 mediu yeti ice on one side and drinks on the other nb.
All other Yetis, from my two 160’s to my 65’or 20 are a pain to carry long distances. The soft sided hoppers aren’t a lot of fun either. This cooler should make the beach a dream. Soccer snacks for the team should be a piece of cake. The wheels make transporting the cooler very easy
