Perfect for game time!
Exactly what I needed for the sports field! Lasted me the whole 9 inning game, ice retention is excellent and the fence hook is so smart. I would recommend Yeti think of making a chug cap lid an optional standard choice for the 40oz jug, by the time I bought that to swap out(my teeth do not like the hard Yeti Straw flippers), I could have had the 0.5 gallon for cheaper but I didn't want the extra heft of the jug as I'm female and the 40oz fit well in the hand with the textured insets. Doesn't effect my rating but I think it would get those on the fence to buy the 40oz vs walking away. Is it a Rambler, no. I have those but they get knocked over by my dugout family and dented or roll around. I save the metal ones for work and hiking solo, running around town, home sippers. Gotta be honest, the fence hook and cooler type construction sold me. Love my Yetis! This one filled a nitch and I was excited to finally snag one! Well done!

Good for the Gym
This was a gift for my friend who wanted to hydrate while at the gym. This has a nice, wide mouth for adding ice to the water and for mixing in supplements. The size is good for a nice, long workout.

Doesn't Leak!
With both of my boys playing sports and having a large, reliable water bottle during soccer and baseball tournaments is a must. We used to rely on the big Gatorade jugs, but they constantly leaked, which became frustrating over time. So we decided to make the switch and invest in a Yeti jug and we couldn’t be happier. It holds plenty of water, keeps everything ice-cold for hours, and best of all, it doesn’t leak. It’s been a game-changer for our weekends at the field!

I need a second one in another color
This is perfect. I took it camping for four days and it held a 5 gallon bottle of water and a 7 lb bag of ice perfectly! Having easily accessible drinking water available to fill up water bottles and the dogs' water bowls without leaking everywhere was great. Water was icy cold the entire time, but it was fall camping; I'll likely use about 20 lbs of ice and 3 gallons of water when summer camping in 95 degree plus weather! I REALLY want a second one in another color (preferably Harvest Red) for gatorade (or margaritas), even if it was a lower capacity, say 3 gallons. Also used this one over the summer in a barn for water at a rehearsal dinner and wedding and never ran out. Absolutely the best water cooler/dispenser out there!

Love the Silo
My Silo works great. Took it out to my daughters softball tournament in 100 degree heat and it allowed the girls (and parents) to refill their 20 and 30 ounce Ramblers all day with cold water. Threw a block in there in the morning and it stayed for 2 days. Also doubled as a seat!

Awesome Jug
I decided to invest in one of these for get-togethers or for use on the road. Bought it recently for a family get together to try for the first time. It held plenty punch, poured fast/smooth and stayed cold outside (although it wasn't very hot outside).
After pouring and releasing the button, you need to leave the cup there a second and catch the last drops. It only did this sometimes. I haven't tried it on the road yet, but think it will be good for trips for us and the dog to have water on tap.
Easy to clean and the spout can removed / disassembled to clean as well.
I wish it came in different colors especially since this product has been out forever. Would buy it again in another color.

Excellent design and very COOL cooler.
Somebody in this household has a little problem with alcohol, but when we got this cooler and realized it came with a BEAR GUARD we got ecstatic. Thank you Yeti for helping pre-empting our needs and helping us keep the Bears in check.

Yeti Silo Water Cooler
We do survey work all day in the field where our water cooler is our lifeline. This vastly outperforms our old standard water dispenser, and we love it! The Silo can hold our ice for multiple days at a time rather than require a refill before each shift can start, and the water quality is consistent and still iced down even the next morning. Changed our morning routine, and our entire days!

Actually shocked at how good this water cooler is no bs. I used to have one of the traditional round water coolers on the back of my work truck and switched to one of the silos. First of if you plan on putting ice in and letting it melt I hope you have a couple of days seriously and I live in NC

Great product. Held ice for 4 days
Bought this for camping. Took it to Yellowstone for a week kept ice the whole time. I put a zip lock bag and rubber band around the nozzle just to be safe it didn't leak at all. The lid did leak a little though while driving and it sloshing around which was kinda disappointing but all and all worked amazing

Must-have for camping
I hadn't considered a large water cooler like this before, but with 2x Humans and 2x K9s it's a necessity for camping in the summer. Six gallons was good for ~ 36hrs of relatively conservative use. Perfect for keeping on the tailgate of the truck at the campsite.
