Our third one in ten years….
Best in the business. There may be other coolers with the same ice retention levels, but none as tough. Yeti coolers survive truck beds from -5 to 95. There’s not another cooler to match the toughness.

Hands-down, the best cooler I’ve ever used!
This cooler is absolutely amazing!! I’ve heard the hype about Yeti coolers for years, but figured that our old Coleman was good enough and not worth replacing. We finally bought the Yeti, and it was a revolutionary experience. We just went on a 4-day, 3-night camping trip with this cooler - about 15 lbs of ice, a large quantity of beer, and some actual food (mostly milk, string cheese and burgers). Yeti recommends all sorts of tricks to stretch the cooling power, including pre-chilling the cooler, putting a towel over the contents so you don’t have complete air exchange every time you open it, and not keeping it open for very long/not going into it often. We did not do the first two tricks. We didn’t leave the cooler open for excessively long periods of time, but we were not particularly careful about not opening it very often. And yet. By day 2, there was still mostly ice and barely any water. With any other cooler, most of the ice would have melted by then. By day 3, there was some water but still huge chunks of ice. With any other cooler, there wouldn’t be any ice left and the water wouldn’t even be cold. By the time we came home on day 4, there were still sizable chunks of ice and the water was icy-cold. We were EXTREMELY impressed. I think if we pre-chilled the cooler, did the towel trick, put all the beer in a different cooler so we could go in and out of that cooler often and not open the Yeti very much, we could probably get the Yeti to last 5-6 days.

Wasn't sure the yeti was worth the expense but I will say it is built very well and performs better than any other cooler I have owned. Maybe sometimes you do get what you pay for.

Works as hyped, good unit.
Performed better than expected. (yes, the hype is pretty spot on) Maiden voyage 3 days camping in the desert, 95+ degrees in full sun - still had ice chips in the water at the end of the trip. Impressed. "lid seal" will leak (admittedly the cooler was in the back of the truck and we were bouncing around quite a lot... so take that with a grain of salt). Have to say it did much, much better than I thought it would.

The Tundra 45 is the perfect size! This cooler is high quality and a great color!! We are sure this cooler will last the ages!! We love the sliding basket at the top to keep items cold but prevent them from getting wet! Great purchase!

Yeti the goto for outdoor professionals
I am a professional river guide and use my Yeti coolers every single day. They hold up to non stop abuse and use in extreme conditions. In fact all the cups, water bottles that yeti makes survive raft guiding were others fail. I have had soft sided coolers survive going down multiple class 4+ plus rapid, dust, high altitude sun, cold, hot of baja surf trips and trusted to do they job what they are intended and stay looking nice. Yeti may cost more but it’s worth every penny when have a cooler food of steaks and beers and rafting through the Grand Canyon or just chilling at your favorite spot.
