Living in a cooler
The quality of the Yeti is beyond what UI expected. I am using it for drinks and food storage on a cross country trip. I am finding I only have to add ice every 4-5 days and even then there is still some residual ice from previous 4-5 days and everything is still completely ice cold. Impressed with the tacky bottom of the cooler preventing the cooler from sliding around freely on hard slick smooth surfaces.

Just get one already.
It’s very rare that a product is “me” proof, but this hard cooler is bomb proof! From loading and unloading at different farms to taking on a camping trip. It’s kept food cold for up to 5 days in 70 degree weather, and makes a great fly tying table when it’s raining. Easy to clean, and it’s just workhorse.

Transport venison 2000 miles with YETI cooler
Purchased the Yeti cooler to transport venison from Ohio to Arizona. Picked up the frozen venison from the butcher on Saturday morning and placed in cooler that afternoon without any additional ice or cooler packs. The cooler sat outside in mid forties temperature until Sunday when I loaded it in the back of my truck to transport back home. The temperatures varied from 63 degrees and sunny to 17 degrees and snowing. When arriving home in AZ the venison was still solidly frozen and unloaded into a freezer. A second non-YETI cooler of venison was also transported and I needed to add ice about halfway home to reduce the thawing.

We are actually using this cooler for a giveaway for our local trunk or treat however this cooler is holding the candy we have which is roughly 3000 pieces [[of the good stuff of course]] and there is a lot more room for candy. We are pretty happy with its current use and know the winner will be tickled pink when they get it.

Sturdy, airtight and easy to clean
Highly recommend the Yeti cooler. We went on a trip from Oregon to South Dakota to visit my daughter and son-in-law. They own a cattle ranch there. I knew that they had a lot of frozen meet for us to take back to Oregon, so I purchased a Yeti cooler to handle the task of keeping the meet frozen on our trip back to Oregon. The Yeti proved it was more than efficient. Everything was still frozen when we returned home after 4 Fays in the cooler. Amazing. Make sure you preachily before using for long term transportation of cold or frozen items.
