Quick registration!
Just got the microwave oven. Installation went well and the control panel seems good. I was delighted with the product registration. Scanning the QR code on the registration card quickly took me to a GE product registration screen that already had my model and serial # from the QR code. The rest was quickly executed by just tapping my phone to share my name and contact info.

Have always liked the features on this microwave
This microwave replaced the same model we have previously purchased 6 years ago. Looks like this model has some upgrades. One light instead of two and the product being heated for 30 seconds stops in the front not the back as with the older model

I did NOT want this one......
This is not the one I wanted, but my husband insisted because the cost was so good. NOW INSTALLED, I WOULDNT CHANGE IT FOR THE WORLD!!! It's absolutely everything I ever wanted, would ever use, and needed. Even the grandkids LOVE how easy it is to use.

I originally bought my GE microwave back in 2009. When it came time to replace it I was so happy that the exact model was available! It has not failed me. It is very quiet, heats evenly and has a spacious interior.

GE microwave- fit my budget exceeded my needs
Needed a new over the range microwave- shopped many this one fit my needs and budget - easy buy online - all the parts were there the instructions were perfect - the templates were correct - and it was a one man job - tested it works great - light bulbs even included - hopefully they’re LED and u never change them.

I love this microwave! I had another brand for 16 years and this GE fit right onto the old fittings. Took 10 minutes to install. Love the sleek look (all black). Reheat function is perfect. Food reheats at just the right temp. Defrost function works really well. Can't say enough good things about this microwave. Great value for a reasonable price. You won't be disappointed!

is there a light and vent?
Yes, it does have both, but don't buy it's stop working for me in 16 months.
This microwave is not well built.

It's only 18 months old. My microwave stop working. As soon as I press start, my circuit breaker flips. A service guy came to check, he said switch has a problem and to repair it will cost $230. GE should fix it without out of pocket cost or just replace.
My microwave is still operating good. I think GE should fix it also.

Does this model have an outside vent option
No it is ductless it does not have a vent to be vented outside. But it does have a fan that circulates the air that you can turn on
Manually. Also when micro reaches a certain temperature it automatically turns on to cool it down

I just bought a new microwave, GE JVM3160DFCC. Will it fit on my old GE JVM1650CB006 brackets?
Probably not. We tried to use the old brackets and while they look similar they wouldn't work. Not sure now what model that was. It was a GE but about 9 years older
