Good but not great for the amount paid
The person at PC Richards told me that this was a quiet unit, quieter than the less expensive 10K BTU, but it takes more power. Well, he was right as each time i turn it on, I have to press reset button on plug. Which makes me a bit nervous and originally, I placed a glass case in front of teh outlet the AC is plugged into. So, it is not ideal. But the unit is pretty quiet.

Great as an A/C, terrible Wi-Fi features
It's as easy to install as a window unit can be, tho on the heavy side. It cools very well, and is quieter than other brands of similar size. It's still a window A/C, it makes noise, but not as much as others I've owned. As an air conditioner this unit is really good.
Where it fails is with the app as it's almost useless. It won't remember your login, despite the option, so you need to login every single time you open it. It doesn't always update info from the AC, so find yourself making changes, then the screen goes blank, it updates, and all the changes you've made are lost.The schedule is extremely tedious to set and often doesn't save your changes, and turning the schedule off clears it. Furthermore the KUHL series uses a different app than the Chill series (which may be good for Chill owners), so keep that in mind if you are buying multiple units.

LOUD (don't make 'em like they used to)
I have owned 2 Friedrich Kuhls over the years and 1 Friedrich Chill. All are very quiet. This one is not. It's very loud. I exchanged it for another unit (same model) thinking mine was defective and the replacement is just as loud. Repairman who came to evaluate told me that Friedrich Kuhl quality has declined in the 6 years since I last bought them. Too be clear, the unit cools well, but it sounds like a 300 dollar air conditioner and I paid 1,000!

Loud sounds
I bought this Air Conditioner replacing my old one ,but sounds is loud and I keep putting low setting , if you go medium or high it will be louder.Also making extra cruckit sound .unfortunately I cannot return this product.but the sales man who help me is wonderful

Bad quality for lots of money
The quality of Freidrich Kuhl 10000 BTU is awful. It does not measure to even a half of its price. Not only it is not as quiet as advertised, it comes with a bunch of issues right out of the box and it is not cooling as 10,000 BTU at all. Very poorly made. I have replaced it with Frigidaire Gallery 8,000 BTU Quiet Temp smart Window air Conditioner, which costs twice less and works like a charm (much quieter and cools great) and looks better.
