Frigidaire 12,000 BTU A/C.
ThisFrigidaire A/C unit does the job well. Cools my entire room (25 x 12) nicely. Good price. My previous A/C was a Freidrich (12,000 BTU) and while it did work (for only 11 years), it was VERY expensive. I feel I'm getting a much better deal with the Frigidaire. It cost me 50% less than the Freidrich...and gets the job done..

Same Day Service, even on the hottest days,
This air conditioner works perfectly. It quietly cools my dad's large living room and adjacent areas. His old a/c broke on one of the hottest days of the year, and PC Richards was able to sell him a new one the same day! My dad is elderly so managing the heat was especially important to me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My central heating & air unit went out and I needed a temporary solution to cool my home. It is a small 1200 sq. ft. ranch. It is being used for most of the house as I close off two bedrooms during the day. So far it has been doing well.
It has a small dent on the back top left side from shipping that does not efect preformance.

Is it normal for the compressor to turn on and off automatically? I don’t recall if it didn’t this the first time we used it but now using for years second time and it’s only been a week an a half seen be purchased it the compressor is turning on and off.

The compressor is turning on and off automatically while this is on. It’s only a week and a half old so it’s still new. Is this normal ? The filter is clean. should I return this unit ?
