[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our LG refrigerator quit cooling and it would have cost almost as much to have it repaired as it would to buy a new unit. We purchased our Frigidaire refrigerator on the advice of the repairman that came to diagnose the problem with the LG and are so glad that we took his advice. The Frigidaire is smaller than the LG but it’s perfect for us. It seems to be sturdier than the LG and the lighting inside is great, no more dark areas where we felt we needed a flashlight to find what we were looking for. It definitely deserves a 5 star rating!!

It has all the features we wanted and came with good reviews. With the exception of ice maker, it is a quiet machine. Speaking of ice maker, there are two, the door dispenser and one in the freezer. Some reviews said it didn't make ice fast enough but within 24 hours there was plenty. Even after throwing out a few batches. Only can hope it lasts as long as our Whirlpool in the basement, 23 years.

The best thing is that it was worth the value paid plus it came with a great warranty 5 years.

My 13-year old basement one has that feature even -- I thought that was standard.
