LOVE this machine!
I’ve had this literally ONE day and I can already tell a difference on how clean my clothes are compared to my last washing machine. The cycles are quick and the noise is very minimal. This washing machine has more controls on it than my other did, so I’m loving all the extra options! And even with the agitator it’s very spacious! If in the next few weeks something changes I’ll come back to do an update, but as of now I don’t think I’ll need to!

Excellent washer!!
This washer is very well made with many laundry features to choose from. Love the fact that I can choose water levels to suit the needs of the load I’m washing. Does an excellent job of cleaning with a large capacity to easily fit comforters. Intuitive controls make cycling le selections easy. Somewhat noisier operation than my previous front loader but I love the agitator and the results. Laundry seems much cleaner than before.

Great Machine
We really like our new washer we purchased to replace our last GE washer. Our new washer is the:
GE® 4.5 cu. ft. Capacity Washer with Water Level Control.
This washer has easy to use push button controls and large load capacity. It performs well and is not as noisy as
our last. There are plenty of wash cycles from which to choose including a “Quick Wash” for when you don’t have time to wait. The automatic water level control saves on the water bill. You can choose your temperature, soil and spin levels. You can even save your favorite cycle using the “My Cycle “ button. Overall, we have found this washer to be exactly what we wanted.

Way different from what I'm used to
I've only done a few loads so far, so I'm still getting used to this machine. My old washer was 19 years old, & very basic, & to me, it's weird that this one powers on every time I lift the lid for any reason, forcing me to hit the off button, but I guess I'll get used to that- it just confused me at first, as there's 2 buttons at left & it's not clear in the manual which one is meant by "start". I do love that there's 10 cycles to choose from, to match what I'm washing- & I LOVE the large capacity- this one's much bigger than my old machine. Now I can wash my comforters- no need to take them to a local laundromat. I also love the see-thru top on this machine, & I was impressed when I saw how well this agitator tumbled my comforter & got it very clean. I also love that I can select the water level, much more accurately than my old machine. In fact, I'm also happy that this one is NOT "energy star" as my Kenmore was, & I'll tell you why: I can finally use actual HOT water if I want to. I seldom do, but my old machine was "energy star" & one way they apparently accomplished that was by preventing the use of all hot water- the best you could get was warm, & in winter when the tap water is colder, the wash felt barely lukewarm, if that. From what I can tell, this machine is the right blend of efficiency, with features I want & need. There's still things I don't understand- like what is the difference between "tap" & "cold" water (temp.) selections? And the use of the far right buttons aren't very clear- "delay", what is "eco cold"? & "sound"? The owner's manual could stand improvement. But the bottom line is that this machine did a good job washing my clothes, & I can do much larger loads now if I want to, with a full selection of temperatures, soil level, & spin, including a deep rinse when needed. I very much like the way it shows what is currently happening, & the time remaining- that's helpful. When I first saw the agitator I thought it was "loose" because of the way it "wobbles" in use- then found out it's designed to be effective but gentler on clothes, & when I watched my comforter being washed, it made sense.

Pleased with washer.
We had the washer installed on 4/21/2025. We did several loads of clothes and everything came out clean with no residue. The controls took some getting used to, but we got it to work like we wanted it to. So far so good. Capacity, cycles, and noise levels were no problem.

Best purchase in years.
I had a Samsung that was only a few years old. The salesman convinced me that it would work better than a washer that had an agitator! Huge mistake! I was always repositioning wash that was out of balance even with only a few things in it. Since I’ve had this machine I have really put it through the torture test. I’ve done huge loads of blankets, towels, bedding, and just about everything else. Not one single time that I have a balance issue. To me, it’s already made it worth it purchase just in the amount of time I’ve saved and the amount of frustration that I no longer have. I love everything about this machine. I forgot to mention my old machine wouldn’t fit unless I cut out of section of the wall so that I can close the door. This one fits perfectly. Very pleased with everything.

So far so good!

Get thee an agitator!
We've been using for a week and love it. Our last machine had an impeller ,not an agitator and that was not great. Clothes now are so much cleaner, pretty sure due to an adequate amount of water and actual movement. Old school but works so much better.

Fantastic washing machine
I am so pleased with my new washing machine it has a nice large capacity and my clothes are super clean and the choice of spin speeds is great some the clothes come out rung out that cuts down on dyer time. Very happy.

Capacity, controls and cycles are great
Overall we really like the top loading washer. The only thing we don't like is the noise the washer makes when it starts to wash (agitates). It's quite loud.

Love the capacity
I love the capacity on this washing machine. I am able to add several towels and sheets which is great! Also you have the ability to change settings for many features including speed, water temp and water levels. Noise is at a minimum. My old washe was very noisy during spinning. NOt so with my new washing machine. I am enjoying it.

best washer for the price
Had it for two weeks and so far, it cleans so much better than my whirlpool did. I can actually smell my detergent on my cloths, and they feel cleaner than before. I am Glad I went back to an agitator washer because they do clean the best. The auto fill feature is spot on and works great. the controls are easy to use and understand. it is also pretty quiet when running and the capacity is perfect for a family of 5. the cycles that come with it are also great.

Love you can add clothes with out lid locking
First day already love it way better than the Samsung we had with no agitator. Seems to get clothes clean is a little bit noisy but not too bad.

Happy customer!
So far this washing machine has met all my expectations. Cleans well, holds a good amount of clothes and is fairly quiet. Love the control panel and all the options for any laundry need. Deep water fill and soaking cycle are especially nice options. I would recommend this product.

The product has exceeded my expectations. It washes a larger load than I am used to. The controls are easy to understand. It is a bit louder than I am used to. In the auto-soak, I wish it would continue washing instead of draining, where I have to schedule another wash cycle. Overall, I am well pleased so far with the washer.

Nice machine.
Leaving Maytag behind. 2 washers 2 dryers in 10 years on Maytag.
We chose to opt for the old agitator as the newer agitation style never seemed to do as good of a job. We have no regrets. This machine gets the clothes clean. It's so nice to feel clean towels again.
Don't let the noise mongers get to you, it's quiet enough. I was worried about the noise but have been pleasantly surprised. I've never had a top of the line "claims quiet" machine, but it's quieter than my last 2.
5 days in, some 20+ loads, it stays balanced, spinning controlled, and works quickly. It seems you have to turn it off after a load via an off button. Otherwise a computer screen just scrolls the word "end". Haven't left a load unattended seeing as a plumbing disaster is involved in this washer buying adventure.
Good capacity for full sized loads. The controls are alright but button longevity is in question for me. It does feel a little plasticy in terms of the upper interface. I'm sure it will be fine.
Plenty of cycles to choose from. The only one missing is hand wash but isn't that an oxymoron in a machine anyway...

Great machine
Love my new washer. Read reviews and so far I have no problems . First thing I washed was my bed sheets and comforter on bulky mode. No problems. I like all the features it come with. I tried a couple to see what works best for my family of 4. Some reviews I read had problems with water levels, spin cycle not enough, balancing or noisy. I don’t agree with them. I keep water level on auto, max spin, and don’t think it’s any noisier than old machine. I even threw in soaked towels from my basement seeping and had zero balancing problems.
