Many of the GE top load washers in our inventory come with a wide variety of amazing features. The deep-fill setting that comes with many models allows you to use additional water for your washing cycle. When you press the deep-fill button on the top of the washer, you will be able to have the machine add water in three-gallon increments to your current load. If you'd like to completely fill the washer with water, hold down the deep-fill button until you hear a tone. Available on select GE top load washers, the deep-rinse feature helps ensure that your clothes are thoroughly rinsed. To activate the deep-rinse setting, turn the dial on your GE washer to the deep-rinse option before starting the washing cycle. The deep-rinse component completely fills the washing tub with water during the rinse cycle. This option is particularly helpful for removing all traces of fabric softener from your clothes. The auto-soak feature that comes with some models allows you to soak your laundry before the washing cycle begins. On most GE top-load washers with this feature, you can choose to soak your laundry in 15-minute increments. Some GE models allow you to use the auto-soak option for up to two hours. The auto-soak setting is ideal if your clothing is heavily soiled. Many of our models also come with a dual-action agitator. The dual-action agitator pulls your laundry through the water smoothly for thorough cleaning. As it pulls, the second part of the agitator operates in the opposite direction. The second component is very gentle on your clothes, and you can customize it for different fabrics. Some models also come with stain pretreatment. This option provides pre-programmed settings to help you handle four of the most common laundry stains. When you select a pretreatment option, the washer will automatically modify the washing cycle to suit a particular type of stain.
