Job well done…
We purchased our house with the previous owner’s appliances. The “extra features” of another brand’s electronics went out. Went with a GE brand washer that had less “gadgetry” and a proven track record of getting the job done. Enjoying simplicity and getting the job down.

Great washer, great price!
I love my new washer! The drum is fairly large and in LOVE with the fact the lid doesnt lock until the spin so you can add soap with the water and throw in a rogue sock if you need too.

So far it works really well!
Previously I had a Samsung washer without the agitator and wanted to get back to what I knew worked well. It’s not as quiet as the Samsung when washing, but it’s better in so many other ways. I love the automatic water fill senser. I did switch to pods instead of liquid detergent because there is no dispenser for liquid detergent. Only for bleach and fabric softener. It completes a wash really fast. It also has many, many features to choose from.

REALLY like this washer!
4.5 cu ft basket is perfect size for load capacity. Cycle features choices are great and easy to differentiate. The water level choices allow for small or large loads without using too much or too little water which is the best for water energy savings. Best agitator then any other washer I saw. Within first 48 hours I washed 8 loads from small and large loads of clothing, winter jackets and bedding to test machine with absolutely no issues. I do not think the machine is too loud because my laundry is downstairs and I can hear at top of steps if still running so I am not running up and down steps. I cannot say enough about the performance of the machine and quality of cleaning. This was such a great purchase considering the 9 year old Kenmore washer I used for 2 senior adults, the transmission broke leaking grease into the basket. Never thought I would be this thrilled with an appliance.

I'm happy with GE, they are reliable.
I HAD a GE washer, which is the one I am replacing with this one. For the years that I used it, it did NOT let me down. It was a reliable machine...so...I'm HAPPY with GE. And the one thing that it has that I did not see on other washers is an extra spin cycle. Sure, you can just put your washer on spin, but I didn't want the washer to rinse again...just spin the water out...period. And THIS washer does that. Maybe that's not so much of a big deal to you, but when I put my clothes in the dryer...DAMP and not wet, I'm already saving money.
So I would DEFINITELY rrrecommendd this washer.

I’m very pleased with my GE washer so far. It has a clean, modern design and feels solidly built. A beauty and a beast!!
So far I’m in love with this washer. My last washer how the wash plate. I went back to a washer with an agitator and I’m so glad that I did. I feel like there’s a lot of power in this washing machine, and my clothes are getting clean again!! I also love the fact that I am in control of the water level!! I love all the other features as well like the extra soak or power options.

Awesome features!
Ever since we got the washer, it has been awesome! We love washing clothes now! We can can an entire 2 loads of hubby’s work clothes and wash one time. We’re already thinking of getting the matching dryer this spring 2026!

I like the fact that it’s high efficiency. A large load only takes 45 minutes. The large basket allows you to do less loads of clothes, and the features available give plenty of options.

Simplicity at it's best
My Whirlpool lasted 20yrs moved out of state home we're in now had the laundry hookups but we had to buy a washer/dryer.Looked for the same type of washer as my old one-Simplicity was the goal.Do not need wifi set up with all the bells &whistles.This particular GE model fit all my expectations.#1 reason /I can control amount of water needed for different size loads.Which the newer Whirlpools do not have.So far very satisfied with purchase of matched set /washer & dryer.Will it last 20yrs ? I doubt it all Appliances today are not made like 20yrs ago.Hopefully should get some good years from GE.

It actually uses enough water
I've been a Maytag man all my 72 years. But when my Maytag washer had to be out to pasture, I thought well, guess I'll stay with Maytag. Nope, bad choice and brought it back the next day. Sadly, the federal government mandated that all washing machines now days use extremely less water. So little water, that the Maytag was only filling the tub barely enough get the clothes completely wet. Not to mention that it sounded like locomotive running. So I decided to go with GE because it had the simple but necessary features my old Maytag had but not the new Maytag. And, somehow allowed you to use more water when you want to. This GE washer runs circles around the Maytag in so many ways. Noisey? I find it considerably quieter than the Maytag for sure. The agitator is larger than the Maytag. If you want a washing machine that will use enough water to get the job done right, then I recommend that you buy GE. While opinions matter here for you to make a good choice, there are some opinions that never should have been displayed because they are the ones that destroy someones hopes of buying this product. There will always be something said negative about anything by anyone at any given time because you just can't please all the people all the time no matter how hard you try. Do yourself a favor and just go buy it and see for yourself how good it is.

The capacity is a lot better than my old one. I think it does a better job on my clothes and they came in a day and a half to install it for me. I'm very pleased with the new washer
