Clean clothes
Really enjoying my washer. Love the option on higher water levels, I feel that the clothes get a better rinse. Nothing complicated about the settings. I have gone from a machine without an agitator to one with, I think it is doing a better job. No problem handling a large load and stays balanced.

Love GE
I've only had this new washer for an hour and I'm already on my second load, so far so good. I can provide a better review after many more uses. I came here to say that my old washer was also a GE and lasted 26 years, which was an excellent run! In 26 years I never had any problems. Here's to 26 more with my new GE :) lol.

Excellent machine
This washer so far has been a HUGE improvement from the Maytag garbage it replaced. This machine is quiet, stable, effective and simple to use. The clothes are well cleaned through positive agitation, handles good sized loads, and spins the water out very well. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

Excellent family washing machine
This washer is working great. The bigger tub was a nice add from what we had. Less loads to do. Runs quiet. Just be patient. It has it's routine for how it washes compared to older machines that just fill with water and go.

Great washer
I had an LG washer without an agitator. I regret buying it. When needed to replace it I wanted one with an agitator. We chose GE because it is a great product and the one we bought is so much easier to use. It has features that make doing laundry a breeze. I love the different water levels and the soak feature. It spins out the water better. It is quiet and does a fantastic job cleaning clothes

Select your own water level
Great washer! So glad I can actually select the water level I want, and not have to rely on water sense that doesn't work. Hated my last washer by different manufacturer, which only lasted a year and a half before it had computer glitch. Had a friend recommend this washer, and already my stress level is lower since I don't have have to add water with a bucket to the load.

Cleans well efficiently. Important tips in manual.
Our new GE washer is terrific. I like the cycle choices and the large basket works well for both small & large loads. The automatic load-size sensing seems to work well for automatically determining the water level.
The amount of detergent to use in this high efficiency washer is different. It uses less water, so less detergent is needed. I use about ½ as much as I used to.
If you use the washer as intended, you are not going to see the water level. But if curiosity gets the best of you, you can look inside during washing by pressing the start/pause button before lifting the lid. If you want to adjust the water level higher, you can just select a higher level with the knob & more water will go in. The last spin is very fast, and the lid lock cannot be unlocked.
Now here is something important that isn't clearly stated in the manual. The way the detergent is rinsed out is by spraying water on the soapy clothes as they spin. The basket is not filled with rinse water unless you turn the option knob to select "deep rinse", which you need to do if you have poured liquid fabric softener into the dispenser cup. Use a very small amount of softener diluted with water or else it will be too much. The words "deep rinse" may lead to you think this setting uses a lot of water, but it only fills to the level setting you selected.
The manual is worth reading with a highlighter handy. The booklet, which you have to print yourself, is the same for 14 models. That means some of the info is not going to apply to your model. It is helpful to highlight the headings of features you have, especially within the 2-page "Wash Cycles" table that shows all the possible cycles.
Truthfully, the manual is cumbersome. Designing one for many models is an old way to save money. Today, it could be done better. A specific manual for each model is necessary because these machines are complex. It is too much to expect customers to wade through info that doesn't apply. I hope this thought will make it to the right people who can make this happen!

Don’t pass this one up!
I am so glad that I decided on this washer , I love the different selections and especially the quick wash . My old washer would take up to almost an hour for the quick wash! Everything comes out clean and smelling fresh and I've never had a problem With the washer being unbalanced . Also I have had no issues with the water levels, It's kind of like the old-fashioned washing machines I love it !

New washer
I had to buy a new washer because my one of 30 years gave out. Was hoping it would last as long as me. But didn’t happen. My brother suggested a GE. I’ve been using it for the past 5 days. Seems to work well. Although I feel it’s a little loud. Tub is roomy, my clothes seemed to be washed well. Happy with my purchase so far. Hope this one lasts 30 years for me.

Great product
This is a very easy washer to use it cleans the clothes very well it has several different cycles, which is great water levels has several options too. I would highly recommend this product to anyone wanting to get away from those washers that have these brains that are really just dumb brains a.k.a. Sampson. Junk.
