Also, my 20+ year old previous OTR microwave had a feature to turn off the Sound, which was nice so I didn't have to hear bleeping sounds while pressing buttons. Overall: Very happy with my purchase, especially since the improved ventilation system definitely outweighs the minor negatives.

Where is the vent located ? is it self venting micro ? I'm replacing the one I have and the venting is above the microwave door on the top of the unit directly in the front where the seam of microwave door and actual unit are and are about an inch deep
