What is the best way to clean the stainless part of this microwave? For some reason, the stainless part is holding onto grease and there is a film I can’t seem to remove with water and a soft cloth.

Wondering if the mounting bracket I have now for my GE Spacemaker jvm1650sh will be the same as this model? Doesn’t sound like it will from comments

I replaced an older GE Microwave with this GE model and the bracket footprint had indeed changed and needed replacing but it wasnt a big problem! More importantly the change meant that different holes had to be drilled in the overhead cabinet.and I would recommend that if an installer is doing the job to take care that holes are drilled BEFORE the microwave is put on its bracket or a ton of wood shavings will end up inside the interstices of the microwave as I discovered when needing service.
