Works very well, suitable for a medium room, and the control using the app is very nice. Take a picture of the WiFi barcode before installation otherwise it can be complicated to connect (you'll have to contact GE customer service)

Just the fact I can turn it on/off and adjust the temperature when I’m not home, is blowing my mind (futuristic). My dog doesn’t have to be constantly in the heat indoors during the summer time. Wi-Fi feature is awesome.

My favorite part about this AC is the WIFI. Literally, can turn it on or off from anywhere and wherever I am. and Even set a time to turn on or turn off. Secondly, it is quiet. No noise at all. Last, this AC really cools my entire apartment.

First wifi ac I own
I needed a new and bigger window unit for my room, my room is pretty big. Never had a wifi controlled ac unit, it’s easy to use on the app, to turn on/off, lower/raise the temperature and fan speed, it even tells you when the filter need to be cleaned. Highly recommend for a medium to large room.

what's the correct width and height on this a/c unit
My window is 31" wide & as far as the height the AC is aprox. 15" high and it fits perfectly. The problem with this AC is that it is very loud.

What size room is an 8000 btu a/c good for
8,000 BTU is meant for 350 sq ft. I have this in my living room which is just over 200 sq ft and the ac actually cools the entire apartment really nicely.
