KitchenAid makes an excellent dishwasher

Extremely Happy Choosing this Model
I needed to replace my 11y.o.Kitchenaid dishwasher and chose the KTDS324SPS with some hesitation. My old was her had two racks and I feared that the third rack would prevent me from using it for my large plates and wine glasses however, that isn’t an issue. The bottom rack sits 5” lower than my previous model. The machine is extremely quiet and the dishes come out extremely clean. My only complaint is that I keep slamming the bottom rack when pushing it closed because the other two racks are on tracks and the bottom is on wheels. It will just take me time to get use to it. I was surprised that the base frame and front kick plate are plastic versus metal on my old model.

Quiet and effective
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took me a while to get used to how this 3-rack dishwasher is configured, since it was much different from my old one. But after a week or two I knew just where to put each type of item. I especially like how it handles cutlery, with the slots to keep everything separate instead of nesting. Another upside: it is very quiet! The only downside: it takes much longer than my old machine to run a full cycle, but now that I'm used to that, I schedule when to run it better, and overall I'm very happy with this dishwasher.

Soooo quiet

So Far Great

Kitchenaid is the best

Great Features

We have had to replace our very expensive Asco dishwasher after 4 years the pump died and would be more expensive to fix that buy this KitchenAid. We are so pleased. It does a better job washing and drying and the racks make more sense for containers and lots of odd sizes. The third level is huge.

Top of the line features and very efficient!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kitchen Aid’s ‘Third Level Jet Rack Dishwasher’ is absolutely cutting edge technology! The dishwasher has been designed for convenience, high performance and efficient power consumption. It is spacious with 2 racks for regular/tall and bulky dishes and a rack specially designed for mugs, bowls and other items that do not require too much space. It has twice the number of wash jets ensuring that every item is thoroughly cleaned. The control panel is discreetly placed and very easy to use. I am most particularly impressed by how quietly the dishwasher does its job…effectively and efficiently! The height of the middle rack can be adjusted which is quite a space saving convenience and the top rack can be removed if not in use. I would say, it is definitely a smart buy and considering it’s top of the line features, it is definitely worth every dollar. My dishes were sparkling clean and completely dry…a total delight!

I think I made a good choice!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good. I replaced a 6 year old LG dishwasher with this Kitchenaid. So far, it has been a good decision. I was never totally enthused with the LG - not enough heat, did not always get dishes clean, the upper 3rd rack really only for flatware or utensils. I really like the design of the Kitchenaid upper (3rd) rack - way more useful than the short flat ones in most dishwashers. I like the heat setting. I like the ease of operation. It is very quiet. I like the towel bar (never thought I would miss it but I sure did!).

Best Purchase of the Year!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just bought and installed this dishwasher, not only is it extremely quiet but it washes my dishes like my previous dishwasher never could. The third rack on top is perfect for coffee mugs and shallow bowls, the adjustable second rack allows for a ton of flexibility in putting in various loads. Best purchase of the year!

Great dishwasher with great features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will not lie, initially I had dishwasher remorse over switching out my reliable dishwasher for this Kitchenaid dishwasher. I was unhappy with something that was my own misunderstanding with the third rack not being secured in upon installation. No fault to kitchenaid! As soon as I resolved my mistake I was thrilled. This dishwasher has great settings, the ability to do a whole cycle clean or a top 2 rack clean. I also love that it opens at the end of the cycle to really ensure your dishes are dry (although I didn’t realize it opens itself for about a week and kept blaming my family members!)
Overall, I think this dishwasher is a great product and I’m very satisfied with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Three. Three is the magic number, yes it is... and we have 3 levels to stack dishes in and I couldn't be more pleased. This model holds more dishes than I have ever seen in my 50 years of cleaning dishes. And for its maiden voyage I tested it with baked on lasagna pans,plates,silverware and pots and pans. They all came out sparkly clean, As if all of the dishes were brand new and never seen tomato sauce. Simply amazed at the results and how quite it runs. I wish all my appliances ran as quite and as well executed as this dishwasher. This model can also detect soil levels. And the racks can be moved up and down to accommodate larger items, separate compartments for utensils and glassware. It has it all.

Best dishwasher I have ever owned!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This KitchenAid dishwasher is by far the best dishwasher I have ever owned and used! The installation was simple and the directions were clear, it took my husband and me around 45 minutes to install the dishwasher. This Kitchenaid model is sleek and clean, with a modern, simplistic, and timeless design. I've never had a dishwasher clean dishes so well, they really sparkle when they come out. It easily removes even the most stubbornly adhered and burned-on food. I will never go back to another dishwasher brand. There is an LED light on the door next to the handle that displays the phases of the washing cycle (washing, drying, complete and paused). I appreciate that the top controls are touch rather than button controls, they are sensitive so you barely have to touch them. Also cleaning the contorls is a breeze. The third rack is fantastic and provides plenty of extra space for small objects, cups, and bowls. I like that I can change the height of the second shelf and that it has a clip to keep my wine glasses firmly on the shelf. I appreciate the cutlery storage since it keeps all of my forks, knives, and spoons separate, making it easier for the dishwasher to clean. Most of the time I run the dishwasher on the ProWash, it is my favorite cycle, at the end of the cycle the dishwasher door will open itself to let out the hot air. I was so amazed the first time this happened. These are the times for all the cycles: ProWash = 2:20hours, Tough= 2:48 minutes, Normal = 3:09 minutes, Express = 1:09 minutes, Rinse only = 25 minutes, and ProDry adds about 30 minutes, ProDry Max adds about 1 hour. The dishwasher has a considerable amount of sound dampening insulation, which makes it quite quiet. I also love that the dishwasher is very energy efficient. I would highly the KitchenAid Third Level Jet Rack Dishwasher!
