So many reasons to love this dishwasher.

Excellent Performance and Value
Needed to replace an older dishwasher that came with our apartment. We needed an energy efficient model that had more modern controls and better washing results. At the same time, we needed to make sure it fit into our budget. This dishwasher was a perfect match. It's easy to use, we've seen our electric bill drop noticeably since we've had it, and the dishes come out sparkling clean. We love that it has 3 racks and can hold practically anything. That also means we're washing less often and saving water and electricity. We love the drying options and the fact that the door pops open slightly when finished so that any remaining steam or heat can escape. We are very satisfied with this dishwasher and the excellent service and installation process from PC Richards!

Very happy, overall
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the layout of the racks and prongs. Very spacious and versatile. Was surprised that, when I pulled out the top utensil/cup rack for the first time, that I pulled it off its runners. Turns out there’s a plastic flip cover on the front end of each runner track that you can purposely open and close. Also, that top rack doesn’t glide out very smoothly and you have to grab the maroon handle for the best opening feeling.
About the load option buttons for the wash and dry cycles— I prefer buttons that require a more obvious push feeling, but now I am more accustomed to the light touch needed with the cycle buttons on this model.
Love the pop open feature at the end, which allows steam to escape.

Great features! Outperforms its competitors
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Kitchen Aid model outperforms GE Profile, Bosch, and Miele. I have owned all of these major brands.
This Kitchen Aid model does an excellent job of cleaning and drying. It is really quiet. And it has a very cool feature not seen on any other models I have owned. The cool feature is that the door opens slightly when the cycle is complete. No more questions “did I turn on the dishwasher before bedtime”

Great rack design & position
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Upper most rack of the dishwasher, the third rack, is the best design I’ve ever seen. I am actually able to put serving utensils, and cooking utensils of any size up there. I have not had to, as of yet, to adjust the height of the middle rack to fit my extra large dinner, dishes. I have always had to do this. With other dishwashers. I have gone.

Kitchen aid really thought of everything when designing this washer. The wine glass hooks are superb. The performance and cleaning action of the washer is amazing. I put it to the test with a straw and red lipstick and it cleaned it to perfection. I love the automatic door open function. The quietness of this machine is also impressive. I am so so happy with this purchase. I recommend 10000 percent. I read hundreds of reviews and I’m so glad I went with Kitchen aid. This machine doesn’t stink, it cleans and dries perfectly.

Still going strong for family of 8
I've had this 1.5 years and so far, this is one of the best dishwashers I've ever had. Somehow they made the 3rd tier work and it works well. I learned not to review anything until after at least a year when it comes to appliances. We use this dishwasher a couple times a day and it gets abused pretty good. Still comes back and cleans like it should!
