It's quiet and seems to wash well but it would be nice to have a selection for the water fill amount that could over-ride the sensing feature. I like the large stainless steel tub although its set-up for liquid detergent while i have been using dissolvable sheets of detergent. It has a bunch of wash selections that I'll probably never use but most males only need a run/ stop button anyway, lol. Lg is rated highly with consumer reports and this washer is another reason why. Overall its better then i expected and im sure its going to last for years. Its funny though how when you get older you can get so excited by a washer and dryer.

I do wish that the agitation had a lot more constant action and agitation to it. I think that would give the clothes a better washing. It stops a lot to readjust the weight of the load and then starts to agitate again. I've only had it about a month now and I am still checking out some of the features.
