Cool my bedroom quickly. Fan 1 and Sleep mode are super quiet, basically I did not hear anything. Wifi password seems a bit confusing when set up, but once connected. it works seamlessly. The LED light off function is big plus.
First, I was interested in U-Shape window A/C. They are at the same price point. But I visited PC Richards store and saw this LG looks more elegant. Also if I go for U Shape AC, I will have 6” glass window view on each side of the unit. I would need to close those spaces as I sleep to make the room dark anyway.

Quiet and efficient window unit
I bought this window unit in mid-August in the middle off the hottest summer south Louisiana has ever experienced My 5 ton central unit (thermostat set on 78) was running almost non-stop trying to keep the house cool After this unit was installed in the den (400 sf), the central unit began cutting on and off, and cooling the house to the selected temperature setting. This change in its operation was reflected in a decreased electric bill within a month of installation off the window unit It is also super quiet. Does not interfere with the TV sound, and would be an ideal unit for a bedroom because of the quietness of the unit. The comfort factor cannot be measured in $$ savings, but it is totally worth the initial cost, IMO

The product is so quiet, attractive, and so comfortable in that it really helps to make the room comfortable. I am actually very impressed with this unit and highly recommend it as an alternative to a large and clunky unit.

Very nice AC
Excellent unit. It cools the room very quickly and quietly. I haven't had it long enough to experience any technical issues, but it runs well so far (3 months). It is a little smaller than my previous unit, also a Friederich, so I needed a new bracket.

Quiet and SOLID as a rock (so far)..
I have only purchased Friedrich ACs in the past and one of them was a $1400 plus expense.. that “premium” a.c. crapped out just before the warranty was up so I dodged a bullet. I decided to switch brands and go with LG. I have only had it for a month but it is the quietest a.c. I have ever owned and I’m 75 so I’ve owned a few ( insert a ha ha here).. The LG is also seemingly vibration free ( solid like a rock really).. So hopefully I’ll still feel this way in after a few seasons with it..

One of the best AC on the market
I think this is the best smaller window AC you can buy. It’s not fully silent but doesn’t make weird high pitched noises like a Midea, more a pleasant and very quiet hum. Also is strong enough to be felt 20-25ft away. I’m very sensitive to noise and this has been a godsend.

Quiet Efficient Cooling A+++++++
First time writing a review for an air conditioner, this LG air conditioner is the most efficient at cooling and a consistent temperature. So quiet you forget its running. We purchased the 8000BTUs, wish we could find a 6000 BTUs for our bedrooms. Electricity bill even dropped a few dollars, as we replaced a 10yr. old AC unit with the more efficient LG.

Unbelievably quiet!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 2nd ThinQ AC and is quieter than my 9500 model that is right next to my TV and does not interfere with it. I'm a former audio engineer and my dBSPL meter shows lower levels than what LG has stated in it's specs.

Quiet
Purchased this late June, 2023. Easy to install but purchased (at a separate store) a brace so it would not be too much weight on the window frame. Been using it quite consistently because it's been pretty warm (Long Island, NY) and it's very quiet. Not sure, yet about the electric usage because I haven't seen an electric bill yet but I'm sure it will be cheaper than the unit we had previously. The control panel is very user friendly.

Quiet efficient window a/c
We purchased three of these window units in anticipation of summer in NYC. The unit runs incredibly quiet. There is none of that typical shudder whenever the compressor kicks in. We use the ‘energy saver’ mode, and it’s perfect. It dehumidifies the room, cools it off and does so -so quietly that we leave it on all night in the bedroom.

Great air conditioner for new baby

I just had a baby and its perfect for his room - so quiet and seamless to install. I also put one in my toddlers bedroom and the sleep feature is great. I haven’t set up the app but that is my next thing to do so I can control my toddlers room temp without going into the room.
