Maytag Commercial grade Residential Gas Dryer is the best dryer I have ever owned. The control panel is basic, with simple knobs that turn. Many people want the updated versions of appliances that have a control panel with touch screen capability but honestly having that as an "extra benefit" really isn't a big deal for me. What concerns me most is whether my clothes get dry or not. That being said, the control panel is easy to read and very easy to program to dry your clothes in a variety of ways. The gas dryer is capable of handling larger loads and can even tackle bulky things such as comforters and pillows. One of the nice features is the automatic cool down that will shut off the heat and basically fluff dry your clothes at the end of the cycle. There is also an end of cycle alarm buzzer that is great for me because I tend to forget about the clothes in the dryer as it is in my basement so this lets me know my load is done drying. I will say tho that this buzzer is kind of loud so an added benefit is that you have the option to turn the buzzer off if you don't want or need that reminder.
Maytag brand has been around for a long time and I believe it is because they make superior products that last a very long time. I can honestly say I love my Maytag!

Quick and quiet!

Our overall experience with this unit has been exceptionally positive, and we highly recommend it. Additionally, we've found that the dryer has a good capacity, making it capable of handling loads from the smaller washer.

Lightning Dry Time And Quiet

It’s a commercial grade gas dryer and the quality and results show it. This will dry a large amount of laundry at a time. I love that you have five options with the selector knob from no heat for more delicate laundry or high heat. The high heat mode will dry your clothes in record time. So it will be energy efficient. You also have a few different cycle options from heavy to less dry. And the dryer is super quiet! This is a quality dryer that’s built to last, I highly recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this is a solid washer and dryer. The washer cleans thoroughly and has a large capacity and an agitator, which is hard to find these days. If you don’t know what an agitator is, it optimizes wash action for shorter cycles. As mentioned, it fits everything! I don’t have to worry if all my bedding will fit. The dryer is also high-functioning and will get the job done. I have a friend who has a the same size washer/dryer (different brand) that she uses in a small hotel that she runs so it can be used commercially if needed.

Dryer easy to use and does job quickly. Like I can control water level. I keep the washer on the mixed setting. Both nice capacity and fit necessary in my small laundry room. Also, dryer was able to change door to fit the space and was able to attach venting in side instead of back. This was great option on machine also allowed me to fit in small laundry room side by side.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My last Maytag I had it for 17 yrs. Saw many loads of drying time. We had 4 kids and held up amazingly.Bought a Samsung and lasted 6 yrs. It needed a part that they don’t manufacture anymore. So went to Lows bought a LG and we got it home and couldn’t even get it to heat up. Went to a local appliance shop and was greeted with a salesmen with knowledge and was helpful with our purchase of a Maytag dryer. We are very happy with the warranty and sale price. We are so happy with our Maytag dryer. Keep up the good manufacturing work.

Excellent Dryer From Maytag
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this dryer about a month now. It’s great- does the job and has plenty of choices for settings. The buzzer at the end is very loud so glad to have the option to have that on or off. I like the lint tray in the door. The only thing I don’t like is the black plate with all the controls has a jagged line all across the bottom of a lighter black and a darker black where it looks like a cityscape. I also would have preferred a white back piece instead of black.

The only thing it may turn off some people is that it is a little hard to open the door. With that being said I am happy with the overall performance of the dryer.

Called Maytag who sent out service team and ultimately replaced a faulty gas valve right from the factory. Overall, very good service. Clothes come out cleaner than prior Maytag MCT Washer and Dryer. Big difference from lesser machines!
