Nice and basic!

Does the trick
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old dryer started screeching with use, so looked for a new dryer, searching online for a bare bones non smart dryer. Granted I have only been using it for a couple of weeks, but it works as I expected. It dries clothes. I use the timed cycle on high, usually 50-60 minutes. Yeah, the buzzer is loudish when you are standing next to it, but doesn’t it need to be if you are upstairs when it sounds? My dryer is in the basement. Some of these complaining reviews make people sound like they expect clothes to be folded and put away too. It works, and that is what I paid for.

Classic Workhorse
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love having a basic workhorse without all the expensive and glitchy electronics. So glad Maytag still produces classic models like this. We will see how it holds up, but liking the simplicity. So many of today's appliances are loaded with exotic features that I never use-just making the machines more expensive, less intuitive to use, and prone to expensive repair.

Great job drying clothes

I have previously owned Maytag products that have given me great service (a stove I used for 23 years). I recently purchased a Maytag dishwasher that I really like. I'm well pleased with the dryer's performance.

Love the features!

heat settings. Just enough features. Don't need digital.

Great basic machine

Great features!

I specifically picked out one with manual controls instead of an electronic display, and one that has the door opening down instead of to the side. It's really quiet. I like the fact that there's 3 different heat settings. I'm so happy with my purchase.
