Lower Drying Temp / Less Lint than Previous Dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I noticed right off that this dryer does not get as hot as my previous Maytag dryer, and therefore required a longer dry cycle even at the hottest temp setting. My initial thought was I didn't like it due to longer dry cycles, but I've since noticed it doesn't produce anywhere near as much lint either (assuming due to lower temp), which should help clothes last longer. The lower temp should also save on energy, so that's a positive as well. I've found that when I use the high heat temp setting and set Auto Dry to the longest cycle possible, it will dry pretty much everything in a single cycle. And keeping in mind that it is on the budget end of models, I'm very pleased with the purchase overall.

Great Buy

r a month and it's very good. Love being able to see inside with the light. Having the lint trap on top helps keep the lint off of the clothes. With the door opening down allowed you to keep the clothes from falling on the floor.
I would buy this Dryer again if I needed another Dryer.

Best dryer purchase ever!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my favorite dryer! I love the lint trap on top rather than inside. And I love the door comes down and catches any clothes I drop so it's not on the floor.

Amazing set
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The capacity of the washer and dryer is just perfect for the heavy duty comforters, to the extra small loads. This machine can do it all. As for the dryer…don’t put it to a full 70 minutes!!! 40-50 minutes is perfect for drying time. It’s very fast for wash and dry. I definitely recommend this set to anyone.

Excellent Matag washer and dryer set

After using my Kenmore washer and dryer for over 25 years, I was very skeptical about purchasing a new appliance. After much online research, I chose to go with Maytag. The resources led me with confidence that I was purchasing a high quality appliance. I quickly realized that my new My Maytag washer and dryer is the perfect pair to meet all of my laundry needs. The washing machine has so many options to ensure the best cleaning and allows me to save on my water usage. My laundry is spun so well that in turn, it reduces my drying time. My dryer is wonderful and it takes less time in drying all fabrics, even my heavy bedding, etc. I am so happy that I went to Maytag and I look forward to years of clean and crisp linens. At 68 years old, I teuly believe my new Maytag washer and dryer will outlive me.

Great features!

This one is much quieter and is white instead of back inside the drum, making it easier to see if I have left clothes in it. I love my new Maytag!

Great features and a good price.

I like the simplicity of the control buttons and the door that opens down instead of to the side. There are enough options to meet my needs. The machine is quiet and I can turn off the cycle complete buzzer when necessary. I particularly like the sensor so the machine knows when the load is dry.

Love the wrinkle guard!

Really good basic dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We wanted a dryer much like our old dryer that had worked fine for 15 years The old one was a Maytag and we wanted another. The only real difference between the two was that the new dryer had a door that opened down rather than sideways. We really like that feature. Frankly we don’t know why anyone would need all the fancy features.
