Well built and simple, a little loud
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were looking for a relatively simple washing machine that was build like a tank. So far we have had zero issues with it. Our clothes have been coming out clean and the filter seems to do a good job removing pet hair. The drum is large and fits a lot of clothes, I have noticed that when overly full the clothes do not get as clean. The agitator works best when you drop clothes down in a small ball (not wrapped around the agitator) which lets the move more and get cleaner through the agitator's action. I believe it will last for a long time and the 10 year warranty is peace of mind that it was built well. The one drawback I have noticed has been that it is much louder when filling and running than our previous washing machine. The noise is not enough to reduce my overall rating however, just thought I'd mention it so you know I'm not a shill for Maytag and getting paid to give them a good review. I would definitely purchase this washer again.

When the clothes spin dry, they are truly dried and the time has drastically cut down the amount of time it needs in the dryer. It is no better or worse than my Bosch machine at taking out stains, which means some need to go thru the wash more than once. I just wish it had a fabric softener dispenser built in. I don't like to use fabric softener sheets in the dryer.

Love My Maytag
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very satisfied with the product, my family loves it. Our last washer was a Maytag which we had for over 25 years until it finally bit the dust. It didn't have any special features like this one does and was a lot smaller in capacity. This machine cleans our clothes and really helps with all the pet hair, we have 2 cats and a dog. I like how the agitator doesn't tear the clothes apart and how the spin cycle removes most of the water so it saves on my drier as well. It also doesn't waste water, living in a desert we can appreciate that.

I can do all the things my previously owned front loader can do but it also gets my clothes REALLY clean. I’m still learning all of the functions but so far, this is the best machine Ives owned. I don’t need to spend thousands on a speed queen. This Maytag machine is perfect. I’ve gone through two front loaders in the last 10 years and I’m sure this machine will last longer than both of those.
