Too New to Rate
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Transitioned from front loader to loader. The tub seems a lot bigger. I am still learning about the various dials and settings so I can't really rate its efficiency. Overal,l after using a front loader for 15-20 years I think I like the top loader better but I will wait and see. Both are/were Maytag washers.

Great features at your fingertips.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this new washer. I am old school and I wanted an agitator. I also wanted to be able to control water level, temperature on each load. I love love all the different control I have at my fingertips to set exactly how I want my laundry done. It does a beautiful job.

Awesome machine.

Upgraded Washer Welcomed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] By replacing a +10 year old smaller washer, this new washer has upgraded our wash day. Prior to this purchase sorting towels & other heavy material items due to balance issues was overwhelming. It was taking three or four re-spins to get the wash load ready for the dryer. So far, we've had no such problems. Any mix of weights has spun "dry" without problem.... A welcome relief.
By selecting the clear glass top has given us a window into the operation as well as given us a better looking appliance. We are thankful for this purchase.

Great for pet hair removal.

Out with the old in with the new.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought pet pro 4.7 and 7.0 washer and dryer. The instructions for dryer is excellent. Wash not so. This washer is so different than my old simple maytag washer and uses less water. My old maytags were 16 years old,washer died dryer still worked but took too long to dry cloths it was time to up grade. Glad I did.....

Great, but no Downy dispenser
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's taken me a couple of weeks to figure this new washer out. I am enjoying it. The only thing I dislike is that there is no place to put downy, you just have to catch the spin cycle. That is not convenient when doing laundry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We searched for a washer that had a stainless steel large barrel but not a "smart" washer that would have more electronics to go bad. We've washed several loads and so far, everything is working properly and I am pleased with it's washing capability. Time will tell, of course. Our last washer lasted 31 years!

I like the features!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this washer. The pet pro feature actually works. All the pet hair rolls into a little ball inside the agitator and I can just dump it out. This washer has a more accurate water level and bulky load feature than my last washer. It gets the clothes much cleaner and doesn't twist the clothes so much. I like the door lock better also. There's a drain in the bottom so the base of the lock doesn't collect dirt. I also like the knobs better than the push pads for selecting my wash choices. It's easier and quicker. Load balancing is not an issue with this washer. I never have to readjust my load by hand. I like that I put my detergent in the bottom of the tub instead of using a top dispenser. The detergent cleans just as well, and then I don't have to clean the dispenser. This washer is a bit louder than my last washer, but I just shut the room door, and life is perfect. All around design and operational improvements. Well done. Plus, I like Maytag reliability. I've always had Maytag washers and dryers over the years.

Love my new Maytag washer!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my Maytag washer over a month ago. I’ve had time to launder all types of fabrics and some small bath rugs. My Maytag washer is even better than l expected. My favorite is the tall agitator! The pet hair removal is great even though I have no pets. It removes strings and hair I never expected, which then is easily removed from the pet screen! I love this Maytag washer even better than the last one I had years ago!
