Extra Water Options Make This Washer a Winner!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this washer as a replacement for an old Whirlpool washing machine. We needed the extra water options and that was the primary reason for selecting this model. So far we have been very pleased overall with the performance. Clothes are very clean and having the ability to to add various amounts of extra water in the wash and rinse cycles has been invaluable.

Easy to use. Beautiful appliance

I am on a fixed income & couldn’t afford a new one.I had a part time job as a caregiver to a 93 year old friend who had stage 4 breast cancer.. She pass d last April 2024. When her daughter found out I needed a washing, machine,in gratitude of taking care of her my mom, she & her husband bought me the machine. I am so grateful & thrilled 😄 to have it..

Powerful product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the Maytag top load better than the front door one. I used to have the front door but it was so hard when you do your laundry compared to the top-loaded one. This one is big enough for our family of 3 and very powerful. I definitely recommend it. I love all Maytag brands as well.

Simple washer and dryer No whistles or bells

I had the same washer and dryer in another house for seven years the newer one that I got now is a little bit different but more or less it’s they were good washer and dryer so I’m assuming that these will turn out to be just as good and have never had a problem with the ones I had for seven years

I love my new Maytag washer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and im so happy I did. The tub is large with no middle piece so I can wash blankets woth ease. I love the simplicity of the machine, not too many electronic buttons so I feel like there's less chance of something electrical going wrong. Maytag is such a wonderful brand and I would love to grab more maytag appliances, the price point is perfect for the wallet. Growing my family owned Maytag products and that is why I was inclined to pick this brand because I know they were built to last with regular maintenance

Happy with it so far!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This top load washer replaced another top load washer I had for only under 2 years. Something happened to I want to say the motherboard on it and it just couldn't get fixed. Luckily the warranty company allowed me so much of an allowance that allowed me to buy this washing machine. And so far I'm extremely happy with it. It's cleaning my clothes well it's got a very large barrel I can do a lot of laundry at one time which is very helpful when I need to get a lot done at once. At this point only having had it for a short time I would recommend it.

Could be improved

If you want a short wash cycle, this is no go.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The wash cycle is too long and when I switched to the "quick" cycle, it was only about 5 minutes shorter. The quick cycle should be 20 to 30 minutes; not almost an hour!

Experience With Washer Operation

But the biggest issue we have is with the addition of the softener.it does not have a dispenser for the soap or the softner. Our previous washer had both and this was very very convenient.

I like the easy knobs
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the most part, I like it. the big drum, the easy buttons and knobs to use. We had our old Maytag for 31 years, so it's hard to get used to a new one. I really don't like the fact that I can't fill the washer up with the lid open and that it locks when washing . The new one is louder and seems to take longer than the old one, but maybe I just have to get used to it

I’ve done blankets and comforters in it with no problems.The only downside is there isn’t a place for the detergent,you have to put it on the clothes or in at first then add clothes. I really like the deep fill option.

Love the automatic water level feature.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had it less than two weeks so not enough time to have much of an opinion. The tub is soooo big compared to my last washer, love that. We are having a hard time finding the sweet spot on the floor to keep it level, we have a tile floor so I am sure that’s the problem.

A decent manual would be greatly appreciated

Not very happy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very disappointed with this washing machine. My last machine was the Bravo series and it was great. I bought this machine without going to see it on display which was a mistake. No detergent or fabric softener dispensers. If using fabric softener it states in the Manuel to use the + extra rinse which is a waste of money for people with metered water.
This machine is also louder than my last one.

Not a Happy Camper!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just replaced my 25 year old Maytag Washer with this top loading model. I was so excited to "upgrade." Not very pleased with the operation or washing outcomes. For instance, just washed 4 medium weight sweat shirts, on Normal and largest fill settings. Items came out with lint and even a piece of hair on a sweatshirt. One sweatshirt did not look like it was completely wet. Really? Had this issue with other loads. Totally forget using the delicate cycle. Hate the locking mechanism and the inability to easily fill, add Oxiclean, pre-soak for 15-45 minutes, and then add soap and complete the wash process. The delay in unlock is a buzz kill! items come out mush drier than my old model, but it looks the the wear and tear on the items is greater (not as gentle). Wish I had kept my old Maytag unit.
