Best change from front to top load
Coming from a 3.5 cu.ft Samsung front load washer to this 5.5 cu.ft top load Samsung washer has been a dream change. My wife complained about her back because of having to bend over for the front load, but now is pleased with this top load. I have used it several times as well and it is a joy to use. It's quiet and I appreciate all the features built into it. I especially like the wireless connectivity which lets me know that my load is done since the unit is in the basement and I can't really hear the chime go off. No more damp clothes sitting around until the next day where it has to be washed again!
Having the active water jet feature is nice to have, you don't know it until you try it. Being able to pre soak a stain and then use the water jet to help active the stain remover before it goes into the load is helpful (no more using the bin sink and getting water on the floor while you transfer the item to the washer).
I've used normal wash, quick wash, and bedding / waterproof setting so far and It uses the correct amount of water needed based on the size of your load. It also appears to give suggestions on wash cycle (temp, rinse, spin) based on that load size. I made some corrections but it was pretty good at determining my needs.
My review is based on the model with the impeller.
I have been very happy with all my Samsung products in which I have a several. (65" OLED S90D, 65" The Frame TV, Odyssey G8 OLED Ultra wide monitor , washer / drier, Active 2 watch, and Refrigerator)

Great washing machine

Wonderful machine!

Love this washer!

I would recommend purchasing this washer to anyone looking for a larger capacity washer especially those with a larger family. I also love the smart things app, which connects to washer and allows you to receive notifications when a load is complete. This allows you to run errands and not feel bog down or laundry is all day event.

I haven’t not had any issues with clothes tangling and that was my main concern since my specious washer caused a ton of tangling, especially with my jeans. I barely notice the vibration of the washer when it’s on (as long as you have it leveled properly). Wash cycles are fast and leave your clothes nice and clean. Also being able to see the cycle finish on my tv through smart things is amazing.

It's so easy to wash my king-size comforter now. My clothes feel clean, soft, and fresh. There are a ton of wash cycles you can choose from. And, the quick was is helpful for faster loads. I also love that it connects to my phone and my tv to remind me of the wash getting done.
