Fantastic Samsung Washer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Impressive items on the Washer are the WaterJet options (no sink needed), agitator for extra cleaning, and Super Speed Wash, decreasing the overall time.
The biggest learning curve for us was why didn't the water beginning filling the tub immediately? The washer actually spins to sense and identify the load mass, then calculates the needed washer and time. Then the actual water begins. I had to look online to find out tidbit and appreciate the fellow reviewers that had stated so.
SmartThings is a fantastic app. Not only does it provide real time information for your washing or dryer cycle, it helps understands all the available configuration options. The User Interface (UI) is very easy to use and follow. The barcode on the physical washer/dryer made it super easy for the software installation.
Overall, we are impressed with our initial couple of weeks using the Samsung Washer.

Great Washer!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They look so nice in my laundry room. I’m so glad Samsung brought back the agitator in the washers. I can tell difference between my old washer and my new Samsung with the agitator, close lock much cleaner than before . Even the quick wash cycles does great job cleaning the clothing. With built-in Wi-Fi I can control my cycle from anywhere. I will tell my family to place their clothing in the machine and I will take care of turning it on. With the large capacity I can wash the whole family loaded in one cycle makes my job much easier and saves on water and electricity. This is a great washer and dryer set. I totally recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this washer. I replaced an old washer I had with this one and it is a huge difference. First off, this washer has quite a lot of space. So it's perfect for large families or even those big quilts you have at home. It washes the clothes seamlessly. I love the fact that you can use the Smart Things App on your phone with this washer. It basically let's you know when your washer is done and more. There is even recommendation on what settings to use for your laundry. I highly recommend this washer to anyone looking to upgrade.

Very Roomy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced a smaller Samsung washer with this one, and have been quite impressed! It is much quieter than my old one, and has a huge drum capacity! I find myself looking for more laundry in order to fill up loads. I was able to wash king sized comforter in it, which was a must for me with two king size beds.
I have a Samsung phone, so already had the Smart-Things, but connecting the washer to it was quick and easy. The app has a ton of "laundry recipes" which are helpful if you don't know which of the many washing cycles to use. It's also nice to be able to see where you are at in the washing cycle without going out to the laundry room.
The only potential negatives I have found with this washer are:
1. The tub is tall, so you may have trouble reaching clothes at the bottom if you are shorter. I am 5'10" and don't have any issues, but have noticed how far down they are.
2. I was washing 2 towels and a set of king sized sheets - which is a fairly small load for this washer - and it kept throwing the unbalanced code during the spin cycle. I tried to even out the clothes and still got the code. After doing this several times, I was finally able to finish my load of laundry. But...has me worrying that this is going to be an issue with small loads. I have never had the issue with a full load.

Washer just got a whole lot easier

My old washer I had to pour the detergent into the actual machine itself making such a mess, but this washing machine comes with a compartment for detergent, fabric softener, and bleach! Self clean feature is excellent keeping the machine away from the build up etc. Also I noticed a little tune when the cycle is finished.You can set everything up in the SmartThings app without get up so many options.The washer also came with a water spills .Samsung thought of everything.

A Washing Machine That's Actually Smart
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just replaced my old Washing Machine with this unit - hoping to find something that worked faster, handled larger loads, and made less noise. I wish I would have done this a while ago. My new Samsung has all the features and more that I could have hoped for.
The biggest initial difference was how much quieter this unit is - hardly any noise and no vibrations. There are also ton of settings that allow me to find what's right for the type of load I'm cleaning. I also learned about the WaterJet option which is like having a sink in the laundry room to pre-soak and clean/treat items for those who don't have a sink. Another nice feature for those without a sink in their laundry room is the WaterJet option.
I would highly recommend a unit with an agitator. It gets your clothes cleaner in a shorter amount of time and prevents them from clumping together in one area, which happens on a lot of machines when you put a bunch of items in the basin. Also, since it's a top-load, there's no musty smell like I've noticed on many front load machines.
The SmartThings app allows me to see how much time is required to finish the load when I'm not in the same room or away from the house. It was surprisingly easy to set up on my phone.
I found everything straight-forward to use and hardly even had to reference the manual.
Really happy with this purchase!

Smart Washer w/ Great Features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently replaced a 10-year old washer with this new Samsung. Biggest initial difference was how much quieter this unit is - hardly any noise and no vibrations. There are a ton of different settings, so you can really customize the load based on what you need to do, how dirty your items are, and how much time you have. Another nice feature for those without a sink in their laundry room is the WaterJet option. The built in agitator makes a big difference in getting your clothes cleaner in a shorter amount of time (no more clumping of items in one area of the machine). The top-load feature eliminates the musty/moldy smell that seems to appear with front load units.
I've also come to really like the SmartThings app - allowing me to see how much time is required to finish the load when I'm not in the same room, or even when I'm away from home. The notifications on my phone are very handy.
The user interface of both the machine and the app are very straightforward allowing for a quick learning curve. Really had no need for the manuals. Set up of the machines and the app was fast and easy as well.
Really happy with this purchase so far.

Really a Fantastic Machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately it has been many years since I have had a brand new washing machine so this was a bit of a splurge for me. I was a little apprehensive at first but am I glad I took the plunge and made this purchase.
It confused me at first that the water didn't immediately start running into the drum but after doing a little research I realized it was calculating how much water to put in for the load that I was washing. I really like that it uses more water as I try my best to be energy conscious and conservative.
I love being able to look into the glass lid and see what stage the machine is in. I find it fascinating that the agitator and the drum move in opposite directions. The drum is really large for those big items that I previously had to take to an external laundry. Washing bedspreads and comforters will now be much easier.
There are so many different settings but by far my favorite is the presoak option. My roommate is an auto mechanic and his clothes are really stained and dirty when he comes in from work. Washing them now has become a breeze! We no longer have to continue to reset the machine so that they get a good soak.
I haven't quite mastered the Smart Things app. That will be a work in process but I look forward to doing more research and learning how to master this machine.
I am really pleased with it!

After our learning curve, we are looking forward to17 Washing cycles. So many options and choices that we've only tested a handful in the week we have had it.
Impressive items on the Washer are the WaterJet options (no sink needed), agitator for extra cleaning, and Super Speed Wash, decreasing the overall time.
* I love the WaterJet option since a sink is not near the Washing Machine.
* The Agitator is doing all as claimed by Samsung. I was able to watch it spin and work through the glass top.
Software: SmartThings and Smart Care
* SmartThings is a fantastic app. Not only does it provide real time information for your washing cycle, it helps understands all the available configuration options. The User Interface (UI) is very easy to use and follow. The barcode on the physical washer made it super easy for the software installation.
* Need help troubleshooting a problem or code? Smart Care is there. It is a very helpful and intuitive user interface. If you still are stuck, support numbers are available in the app.
Overall, we are impressed with our initial week of using the Samsung Washer and look forward to utilizing the full suite of options.

The best thing is the push button water tap that adds a faucet to my laundry room. I also really like the see through lid that lets me see whats happening at every washing stage. In addition it has a very high capacity stainless steel drum with an agitator. Its large enough to accomodate any bedding or large bulky items that i need to wash. It also automatically selects the optimum water level necessary for the size of the washload. The controls are easy to use and see. This washer ticks all my boxes and i like it a lot!

I LOVE this washer!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I knew i was going to like this Samsung but i had no idea how much i was going to LOVE it!! It has some amazing features and my absolute favorite is the active water jet. I always regretted that i dont have a sink in my laundry room but with this feature my washer gives me a faucet at the push of a button. i can rinse and hand wash delicates easily now. This is an amazing feature and a huge upgrade to my laundry room! I also love that the extra large capacity stainless steel drum lets me easily wash bedding and any other bulky items. It connects to the smart things app along with my other samsung appliances which lets me remotely program and schedule my laundry, Another feature i love is that i no longer have to set water levels. The washer analyzes the load and automatically selects the needed water level. The other controls are very easy to see and set on the control panel. I like the see through lid a lot to so i can see whats happening in the washer at every stage of the cycle.
Ive never had this before! This is a GREAT washer and im really enjoying using all its features!

NO separate spin cycle; at end, heavy items WET
has Energy Star rating, most likely because spin is 750 rpm. (front loaders more like 1200 rpm). leaves items like jeans, flannel wet. increased my dry time x2. Energy savings???
Also no separate spin- only cycle ; this would allow one to reorganize the clothes and drain more water.
on the plus side: deep fill, deep wash provides water to roughly 3/4 full, so real capacity is less, closer to 4cft,
but that is still good. Does not clean as well as I would like, but good enough for today's machines.
I would LOVE this machine if the spin was repeatable as a separate cycle OR they brought up the spin to 1000-1100 rpm. Lose the useless Energy Star designation and give us a machine that is AMAZING in flexibility.
